Fun fact: when Little House on the Prairies introduction was being recorded, the fall was not scripted. The little girl just fell. And they decided to keep it.

It's actually fairly impressive that they managed to convey through animation how the camera stability, resolution, and general color tone on screen looked vastly different than what we are used to today.

And I think they increased the frame rate to mimic live action movement. Very top of the line.
Family Guy is great at recreating iconic TV, down to the frame rate, aspect ratio and color grading. They don’t give a crap about their own animation, though.

During WW2 Hitler used pink to classify and identify gay people during the holocaust and (to summarize) America went,"Oh no, pink must be too feminine for straight men." So they then began to put the "feminine" pink on female babies and blue on male babies. Now, one person isn't so influential that they can change a while society by themselves but Hitler added massive fuel to the fire on this color-gender equation. There's a lot more to this and if you want to know more I'd suggest you look it up. It's really interesting and downright fascinating looking into history and studying the changes of societies and the causes of said changes
Artsy Scrub You can study him then. I personally find him pretty fascinating/interesting. But it's difficult to get past the contradictions, some historians say some things about him, others say the opposite. And there are a lot of lies too, to make him look as bad as possible. So it's difficult to find out how he really was.

My grandmother would always be watching little house on the prairie when I spent the summers with her. I used to hate it, but now that she's gone, I can't help but love that show.

Had to admit that Meg looks adorable in this scene. The way Chris and Meg movements were made makes me remember the animation style of American cartoon movies from the 70s. You can see that the animation style is much better than usual, more fluid. The whole scene looks beautiful, they must have spent good time replicating those real human movements.
Yep, there was not one wasted frame. Nowadays most cartoons, not just Family Guy, like all of them will have the character just standing perfectly still if they are not involved. I wish more cartoons did that but it is admittedly a lot of extra work.

Fun fact is that the littler girl actually fell, it wasn't scripted. She was really sleepy when they got her up for her part so she stumbled around and just tripped. They kept it.
