I was seeing a girl for nearly a year and I used to pay every time we went out but asked her to help on holidays etc. She didn’t like that. We separated and she went back to her American ex who pays for absolutely everything. She was most likely waiting for him or talking to him the whole time we were together. Really helps. I had really been a victim of this.... I was knocked off my budget in the name I want 2 be supportive to my woman & don't want 2 give her reasons to cheat. The one that hit me hard ended up not dating me. Your 1st statement abt not using ur financial status at d early stage is really ideal
People, both men and women, often define themselves by their money and possessions. If we all stopped leading with our money, we might be inclined to find more meaningful, long-lasting, relationships. I once dated a guy who always complained that his past love interests always asked him for financial support; yet when I pointed out the reason why, he leads with his money, he looked at me baffled!!! It took me all of two weeks of conversation to clearly see he liked financially saving women and complaining about it simultaneously to anyone who would listen. I didn’t have the desire to feed that ego. If you are in an established relationship then helping each other financially in a time of need is very different than if we just met and you always need a financial hand-out.

This is a Golden vid. Why? Most women have no problem asking men they don’t know or are in the process of getting to know for money.
As a brotha, I intimately innerstand us men are hard wired to provide & protect women and children. It’s encoded in our DNA. Somewhere along our journey to manhood. Women figure this out & abuse it beyond all belief.
I’ve dealt with this in my life. We as men believe women are soft innocent and undeniably good. Life lessons, time & common sense teaches us differently. The major problem is 9/10 women do this men, whether they are attracted to us or not.

Thanks Jessica, great tips. However the ladies here in Nigeria are just wired differently, it's either they have it their way or the highway. As a matter of fact, always asking their men for money is a constitutional right they are entitled to. You talked about selling the idea of taking a loan, that cracks me up, you tell that to a Nigerian girl and watch out for some nasty attitude, it's like you deprive them of fresh breath. A good number of these tips might surely work in Accra, but Lagos and Nigeria I really don't think so. Money is everything over here.
I have just recently found Jessica's channel. I listened to a few videos and I became interested. My interest developed because I was married for 50 years and after my wife passed I was interested in finding someone to date or possibly marry. 18 out of 20 women I met wanted money. This video is fantastic for someone my age, because after being the bread winner and paying for everything that 6 kids can want I thought I had to keep giving. Jessica changed that in me. Here's what I use and works 100% of the time. "My parents taught me that money is not to be lent" or "My parents taught me not to lend money or even ask for it". Put the blame on your parents.
