Hi!! You can simply use salt in place of epsom salt or even peanut packaging as a replacement. You may have to shave the peanut packaging down to make it powdered like epsom salt, but it’s a great alternative to use!
I really like the fairy not being glued right to the glass. To me it looks a lot more real if I can say that for those who don't believe in fairies. I don't think if you actually caught a fairy she would be pushing herself right up to the glass. The "oops" of the glue not sticking, was a brilliant idea.
Hi!! Thanks for your comment! There is a Mod Podge Dishwasher safe product that you could use if you’re worried about your jars washing away with water. You would have to bake the jar in the oven between 30 min- 1 hour at 200 degrees farenheit!😊
I personally prefer the warm glow of the Tea Lights, gives off a mystical feeling!

If it gets wet the epsom salt will wash away modge podge or not
