⭐ Awesome finds, especially the Birks! ⭐ Love the old marbles! While digging in my Pappy's large garden, we would often find very old marbles, which made our gardening chores more fun! Some of the marbles have dings from being hit with the rototiller or a shovel. However, that collection is one of my most prized possessions. Great memories! ❤☺
I can’t even count the listening bottles I have dug in our century farms grove. Three homes used to be on it and thus 3 dumps to dig. Every dig is an adventure. Fun seeing the stuff up there too.♥️♥️
Totally awesome finds as always, karen I love your little snipped remarks toward rob, too funny. OK rob, I'm still waiting for you to open your truck door for karen, I know she's tough like me, maybe it's just a southern thing for me here in alabama, do it for brenda just once..southern style..lol..love you guys..see ya next time.
WOW, WOW,WOW! WHAT A SCORE! BETTER CIRCLE & HIGHLIGHT THEM IN YOUR BOOK, SO YOU HIT THEM UP 1ST NEXT TIME THEY HAVE A SALE! SO HAPPY FOR YOU TWO! I love the luster ware but quit buying it as I've run out of space to display. Keep up the great videos!
Those marbles are so cool! I remember years ago when I found a giant jar with lots of clay marbles and handmaid glass marbles. This brought me back! So thanks for that
That sale was awesome ! Super high on some items and too cheap on the really good stuff. I like the sterling ant the old bottles. I liked " The Red Ensign" British colonial flag they had displayed in the garage.
Good call!! Yes that's a nice flag... not really a flag collector as they take up alot of wall space but you are correct!! It;s certainly a nice piece.
Ya I know you like Jazz Ben.. me too, and blues and all the GOOD music.. I also like classic rock though.. (AC/DC, Super Tramp, Foreigner, GnR, Metallica, etc...) I have a very eclectic collection of music that I like apparently! LOL
LOL We LOVE Ben and Aune!!! :D :D :D Ben and I (rob) would *TOTALLY* have the most *EPIC* sleep-overs... video games... popcorn.... sugar rushes.. OH YA!! Never mind that I'm in my 40's, I'm *TOTALLY a KIDULT!* :D :D :D
WOW! Unbelievable finds!!! You must have felt like a little kid finding toys?! I can’t believe how much you found and how little you spent. Birks was a total score! 👍💕.
Awesome finds! I wish the yard sales in my area were half as good as yours are. I love the piano stool. So pretty. Great deals on the box lots too. TFS!
Awesome find on the vanity set! Love the stool.I had a older friend that had one light blonde color. She sat it in her bathroom at her vanity.Great finds today. Also i have some clay marbles i had bought from a friend that dug for old bottles and marbles.
What a great haul.....you made out like bandits.....loving all your treasures, and looking forward to the second half tomorrow.....just love ❤️ you guys!
Yay!! Great piano stool!!! I'm so glad you found it!!!! WoW!!! Those boxes were amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh these roads suck!! Always show the hilarious clips at the end!! They are great!!!!!!!!!!
Love the perfume and powder glass. So beautiful. The organ bench with the glass feet was way cool. Thanks for another great video. That garage sale was amazing. Have a great weekend guys.
Thanks again as always Tammy!! Ya those Birks pieces are quite rare and amazing and a very unexpected find for that price!! Especially the one piece just thrown in with the other glass ware, kinda in the bottom of the box.. SO glad karen dug in there to have a look-see!! :D And.. in tomorrow's video we make yet ANOTHER AMAZING garage sale find!! :D :D We did good last weekend! =)
Thanks Jason!! Ya BIRKS is essentially the Canadian equivalent of Tiffanys... so it;s super valuable and rare to find this old antique Birks stuff.. a real unexpected find at a garage sale, and to find 2 matching pieces, even though they were separated... it is a fantastic score. :D Glad you like our vids Jason! =D
So glad you got to scoop up alot of the collectibles. Would have loved to have been at that sale, so much fun. Hope you find more goodies. Take care from Ohio
I know!! AMAZING to find that stuff at a garage sale.. AND to find that perfume bottle with the glass dabber in tact - not broken - truly a spectacular and rare find!!! :D :D :D Thanks again AS ALWAYS Shetal!!!
Gotta story about that: When my husband first took me to Texas to meet his family, we took a little side trip to where he used to work on the ATSF railroad in Brownwood. There used to be a glass company a few miles outside of town that made the old blue glass canning jars, and the glass they used was shipped to them in BOXCARS with wooden gates about 3 ft high to block the doors. Occasionally along the way the doors would become unlatched, and when the cars were switched in the yard and came to an abrupt halt against another cut of cars, those glass balls would bounce against each other and out the door openings. There were those wonderful aqua glass balls in the dirt ALL OVER that yard! Richard was inside the yard office, catching up with his old work buddies, I'm out in the yard in my Birkenstocks (a no-no, you're always supposed to wear steely-toe boots in the yard), gathering up those glass balls and stashing them in the rental car! ha Story was, one night the local was taking a carload of glass balls to the factory, and derailed on a curve, causing the entire load to spill out onto the ground - forever after referred to as the curve where old Engineer ____ lost his marbles! The ones I got home with I've used in tall flower vases to prop up lilac branches and iris from my garden, and to tie into fabric to make patterns when indigo dyeing. Multi-useful!
Karen I’m very proud of you! Amazing deals you find! I’m collecting shaker salt and pepper sets and when I see next box with your piled of bottles, wow I seen many items and I lost 😂😂😂😂my gosh I feel walking with your gays. Congratulations 😘❤️❤️❤️👍👍❤️👍❤️❤️❤️👍
Okay, sorry to fill up the comments section, but the stool...OH! Those feet! I have never seen one as such! Nor have I EVER seen “clay marbles”. I’m so gonna be on the lookout for these things here in Georgia! Thanks for the awesome info and killer video! Oh...and they finally put a stop to the phone in hand thing down here....and I’m so happy! I get it! Can the call JUST NOT wait! Geez! Y’all ROCK!!!
So much great glass ! and the Japanese lusterware. Great finds. My favourite items however are the Birks silver :-) and wow did you make a profit on those ! Just a crazy good garage sale.
Ya those Birks pieces are RARE!!!! Raqre as hen's teeth!! :D LOL A truly amazing and unexpected find!! And to have the 2 pieces separated, and one of them in the bottom of a box with junk glass... wow. SO glad Karen found both pieces!!! With all the fantastic items they had, I wonder what we missed out on!?!?!? What amazing things walked out that door before we got there? Oh well... tomorrow's video has another AMAZING garage sale find... if you checked out instagram (and I think I remember seeing your comment on there from last night) then you'll already know what item I'm speaking of! ;)
Bargain Barons Another thing was like you said in the video - they had priced some stuff much higher than the rest (you mentioned ebay prices) and yet not the Birks pieces ! The perfume bottle for $1can. Yes I can only imagine what else got sold before you two arrived :-) I mean it was a relatively large garage sale. Mmm, I was having memories of the marble shop when I saw the clay marbles on your Instagram ? But I also saw a shot from Centennial Mall - I look forward to your next video in anticipation ! Take care both.
Enjoyed watching your video! Your garage sale finds were amazing! My favorites were the antique marbles and the antique bottles. Love coming along on your garage sale adventures!
Gosh you guys!!!! Get some used cheap flannel baby blankets or mechanics rags to keep in the truck. Then you'll have some padding for the breakables you buy.
Okay okay, I had to STOP the video! Oh my stars!!! You got that box of Birks for $3.50!!!! WTH! WHOOP WHOOP! Score of the YEAR!!!! Okay, on to watching the rest! 👏🏻👏🏻
It's called "cost averaging", when you purchase some things really cheap and others you pay more than you'd like, or usually would. Take the total you paid, divided by the number of items you purchased, and that gives you a per-item estimate, of price per item. Enjoyed yet another episode.
Wow... Great finds... Thanks for the tip on the Birks sterling. OMG I've gone to Goodwill and have found sterling for $1.50 and $2.00,but they'll price porcelain pieces for like $20.00
Thanks Richard!!! Ya it was nice, just not quite our style but I'm sure someone is going to LOVE that barometer... it was a fantastic sale with lots of great items!!! Makes me wonder what went out the door before we arrived?
Karen on the piano bench you can place a bath towel over the seat and use an iron to get rid of the stain low setting one the iron. Check out you tube for ways to remove water stain out of furniture. Eveything you bought out of the first garge sale is beautiful. There were still stuff i would have pick up.
Great haul!!! Japanese lusterware is so gorgeous. I know that the Birks pieces are quality items and have sterling lids but I am surprised at the value. 👍😊
They are equivalent to Tiffanys... Birks is the Canadian version of Tiffanys, and the pieces are very old which makes them more valuable. It was tough, we couldn't find an example of the perfume bottle online, but we DID find the powder container online for OVER $300....
Enjoying your flash back videos, although I have been watching them on my smart TV and don't know how to comment yet. I'm would assume you still have your spindle, Edison record player. " Random!" By you to.!!! Great Video...
Love the things you guys buy, the marbles are called benningtons, I think that's how you spell it ? Again I have some I also have a collection of marbles I think I have getting close to a thousand now not sure , that was a good price on the marbles ,they would sell for alot more around here, we also have alot of dealers and resellers around here, and auction houses, have one right down the road from where I live, great scores.
I've got a set of claw feet sort of like the ones on the piano stool but bigger. They're brass and the glass balls are the size of baseballs. Took them off what was left of the ugliest table I've ever seen. I have no idea what to do with them but they're cool so I kept them and tossed the table which wasn't even good for kindling
Thanks Terry! I love skulls too! I got them at a local store called Madame Yes. I believe they ship, but I got them a while ago, so they might not make them anymore. The tag says Lip Service Cult. Hope you can find some! 😊
Do t u folks ever pickup keroscene lamps? I notice some on the video whereu bought that piano stool with glass claw feet. Ideally loved them. Wish u could have pick them up also
Lololol....y’all are fussing about cracks ... would LOVE for y’all to be a part of the ... cue the crowds ... roaaaaar ... wonder that is the streets of New Orleans! The residents there have made them into gardens their so big and soooo deep. Had one big as a car and four feet deep! Thanks for all the cool videos....can’t remember exactly when I discovered .... am reallllly glad I did!
Yes!! Very true. Unfrtunately they usually neglect to check what the items actually SOLD for and mark it at the *HIGHEST ASKING price* they can find... lol
Yeah, it's weird. When a family hires a company to liquidate an estate, I get they have to try and get as much as possible for the family, but they got to remember who you are selling too.
AS ALWAYS ANOTHER GREAT SHOW! UA-cam SHOULD PROMOTE IT MORE!!
Thanks Daleo!! *WE AGREE!!!!* :D LOL
Awesome!!! Now that's TRULY finding them in the wild!! LOL
The box of salt and pepper shakers!

I liked " The Red Ensign" British colonial flag they had displayed in the garage.

WOW.....GOOD PICKS !!
Karen on the piano bench you can place a bath towel over the seat and use an iron to get rid of the stain low setting one the iron. Check out you tube for ways to remove water stain out of furniture.
WOW!! A thousand!!! That's alot!!! LOL Benningtons.. good to know! Thanks for the info Linda! :D
Nice finds .
Did the hair dryer work on the old tape and stickers ?
Karen already had the stickers off when you left that comment last time, so we haven't tried yet... but will let you know. :)
Awesome, they sound beautiful! Glad you saved them from the trash! :)
the most what i like is the secret book ...... heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh happy day for u both
Thanks Ali!
Nice going on getting the stool :-)
GREAT score
Wow great finds :)
Love your pants. so cool with all the skull's 💀. Were did you find them???

Best episode every!
Great haul good to see y’all again....I’m a Texan can y’all tell
Absolutely! :D Howdy y'all! :D
I love everything.
Do t u folks ever pickup keroscene lamps? I notice some on the video whereu bought that piano stool with glass claw feet. Ideally loved them. Wish u could have pick them up also
Hi Kirk. We have several old oil lamps but usually I am mostly fond of the small finger lamps. They seem harder to find here.
Omg😍😍😍 Great haul👏🎉
Lololol....y’all are fussing about cracks ... would LOVE for y’all to be a part of the ... cue the crowds ... roaaaaar ... wonder that is the streets of New Orleans! The residents there have made them into gardens their so big and soooo deep. Had one big as a car and four feet deep!
Thanks for all the cool videos....can’t remember exactly when I discovered .... am reallllly glad I did!
Thanks so much Sandra! :D
Watching some oldies but goodies and began to wonder if you have ever black lighted any of those marbles. I have some that lite up
Yes we tried the marbles and none lit up. Good question!!! 😁👍
:O omg big score indeed
Amazing! Adorei todas as peças! 👍👍👍
Obrigado Paula! Estamos felizes que você tenha gostado deste vídeo.
Talk to ya on your next video, nothing but love ,have a great day.
Usually I find that if they can't find the item on Ebay, then you can get it cheap. Stuff they can easily look up is always priced higher.
Yes!!
Nice on that perfume!
Seriously hey!? What a score!!!
Did you keep the marbles or resell them?
We kept them. :)
