Great but what can anyone do to restore a health oral microbiome?
There aren't many studies about that but there is a study that indicates that the consume of nitrates can act as a prebiotic
This is something Ive been looking for. I dont thibk dentists want us to know as a healthy microbiome would basically mean the end of cavities. Flouride kills everything, so makes no improvement to the microbiome, it just leaves a blank pallette.
Any connection with mental health and the oral microbiome?
Lately, some researches claimed that P.gingivalis could be one of Alzheimers risk factors.
Glass ionomer release of fluoride can cause disruption of the oral flora ?
Lot many new i learning everyday from this. Superb quality helpful chancel "osmosis"🙌🏻🙏🏻💯
Love you too much all you guys 💯😍🤩✨✨
Always happy to help, Sumit! 💕
Presumably, kissing exchanges variable microbiota
Really well explained 👌👌
Thanks, Kiran! 😊
Can I get this power point?
Hi! We do not have powerpoint versions of our videos but we do have the high-yield notes that you may access at osmosis.org 😊
I have oral disbiosis and halitosis. Could you suggest some probiotics, that are effective in restoring the oral microbiota? Thanks
Hi Rhiz! We care for you. But unfortunately we don’t provide medical advice through this channel. We’d recommend reaching out to a local health professional for any consultation and diagnosis of your condition.
Hi Rhiz I am currently correcting mine for the same reason with a brand called BLIS and take the Teeth+Gums and the Throat Health ones
Solaray provides a probiotic intended to support the health of the mouth and throat. It is their MyCrobiome Probiotic Lozenges labelled "Mouth & Throat." It contains two specific strains of Streptococcus salivarius and Bacillus coagulans with no strain indicated. I get it from Amazon.
(I make no claims for the appropriateness or effectiveness of this product.)
You might research tongue cleaning. Also toothpaste made with xylitol. say no to fluoride. just my 2 cents.
@@osmosis which health professional? Would dentists know about this?
What are the dietary (food) that help support the reduction of these bad guys (bad gum bacteria)?
The reduction of bad microbiota can be done just by eating less sugar and you can brush teeth without paste for sticked sugar if eaten
Sugar is main cause for growth of unnecessary microbiota and second,is stuck food
@@brahmaputramoskva1215 Sugar in all forms, including grains, and not just refined sugar. Bad bacteria will feast on rice and bread (etc) also.
So is brushing teeth and using mouthwash bad?
Ya bad. But good too. More good than bad. If you don't brush teeth then bacteria with a mysterious liquid-filled flask may attack you and use advance, um I mean, ancient technology to drill holes in your tooth thus giving you a bad time. So brush your teeth twice a day for 3 minutes! (Toothbrushes didn't sponsor this comment)
jus try to avoid mouthwash with alcohols
why bother with mouthrinse for fluoride when toothpaste has more
concentration of? better just swishing with toothpaste and little
mouthful of water? l use xylitol added coconut oil. better as t don't
harm the beneficial microbiome, only targeting the bad guys?
can I get the references
Hi Feras! You may send us an email (support@osmosis.org) and our team will be glad to assist you with this. 😊

P. Gingivalis is the enemy of the body. And not easy to get rid of.
