In the season finale battle, when his side is losing, he returns to Jabba's palace, only to reappear riding the Rancor...which ends up wrecking the town. Did he forget that also back at Jabba's palace was Slave 1??? You know, that heavily armoured spaceship, bristling with lasers and a variety of other weapons! Ridiculous show.
One thing that would really have helped both establish Fett's badassery and the mutual respect between him and the Tusken would've been if he after getting defeated in an "honest" fight by the Tusken weapon master, had then won by fighting dirty, e.g. headbutting him or something. That would have put them on equal footing and showed that, yeah, he's willing to learn, but he's also at a whole other level when it comes to combat experience.
Vid length sums it up 7:17 of fighting in a whole series about the character and that includes his fighting in The Mandalorian. Disney needed to do the character justice. BOBF series 2 (if it happens) needs to tell us tales of epic bounty hunting, not sorting disputes over moisture farming. Disney also needs to realise that anti hero main characters are possible. Disney could never give us a Darth Vader series because main characters must be “goodies”.
@@DelGTAGrndrs He spoke up against Vader and still Vader showed him respect. Vader told him specifically to not disintegrate somebody and he was the only of the five bounty hunters to get the job done perfectly. Its not much, but it implied that he is good at what he does and a badass.
Honestly I thought the fight scenes were okay at worst, and decent at best. It's really the pacing and the story where I thought TBOBF felt lacking. A simple throwaway dialogue, with Fennec, like: "Despite my armor, the Sarlacc's digestive acid still managed to damage my DNA." "Will you ever be back to your old self?" "I don't know. Probably never." With some visual indicator (maybe a red light bar on his gauntlets), could go a long way in explaining why he's badass in one moment, and needs assistance in another.
Funny cause in the canon video game Jedi Survivor Boba does this to a female bounty hunter and they get fucking tweeted across the ground. So this makes zero sense

I didn't like the sequel movies (but also didn't like the prequels) but I've been enjoying most star wars stuff that came out since Disney took over. Solo was enjoyable, the mandalorians has been amazing and the book of boba fett kinda cancelled the whole ruining lucas did to the character by making him a serious bad ass again. This boba fett from the show ic an picture being the same person as the one in bespin. But the camel looking kid in the prequel not so much.
So him being an identical copy of one of the most dangerous men in the galaxy makes him bad, but sitting in a bacta tank or standing somewhere with his helmet off while his sidekicks do what he should be doing is good? Do you hate Boba?
I won't lie.. Seeing Boba and Din fight together like that, was pretty badass!

One thing is timeless: watching Boba Fett take care of business 👍
As a Kiwi it was cool to see Tem showing off Maori martial arts - using the Gaffi stick like a Tiaha!
Blud, I don’t care what others say, reformed, less badass boba fett is one of my favorite things ever
I’d not say reformed, but less bloodthirsty.
He is such a cool and interesting character I’ve always knew he had some epic history or legend surrounding him 😊

Can't wait for season 2 but with more episodes and more boba fett body armour action
Never much cared for Boba Fett as he wasn't featured in much. Once Mando and Book came out he immediately became my favorite
Thats when I started to lose interest because he sucks in those, especially BoBF

Best part of bobf and the mandalorian was the how they brought out culture and dynamic with the tuskens.

Boba Fett was the best part of The Mandalorian but the worst part of The Book Of Boba Fett.
I just hate how he went from bad mofo in mandolorian to washed up has been Bactatank Fett in the Book of BF. Extremely underwhelming in that story.
I think there were better ways to handle that too - sort of like Batman Beyond, or Tron: Uprising.
