I wonder if that yellow container is for sale? That thing is famous! I’ve seen that ONE container in all the video updates and as far I can tell they haven’t moved a second one.

Surely - even if they're only taking enough off to refloat the ship - they can figure out some way to move more than one at a time? Lock them together somehow maybe? The crane certainly has the capacity. Even if they have to manufacture special shackles or whatever to do the locking because they normally _are_ moved one at a time.

I doubt they'll be taking all of them off like that. Just enough to refloat the bow. When they've cleared the wreckage they can use the dockside cranes to remove the rest.

When they say "24-7", they mean to unload the Dali, it will take 24 months and 7 days....

This is what happens when your company is immune to the law. They don't pay for damages to the lives lost building a new bridge or the people out of work. As far as this " accident" is concerned its over and the only bother to the owners of the Dali is having a ship out of order.

Yes they are milking it they can reweave that wire rope in that crane the containers are probably less than 40,000 lb
