Great lap! What tire pressures to you go out with 1st session, and what do you target hot with the 3R's?
depends on the car, but for 3R our Target hot will be around 30F/32R
Cold will depends on your temp and target temp
Great driving. I have a GT3 that needs new tires. What size Goodyears are on the car? Are they on the OEM wheels? Do you like them better than the Dunlops/Michelins?

Which generation GT3 is this? and are there any mods? the car could be heavily modded but still using street tires and be road legal
You should consider trying out the Cayman GT4, your skill demands it.

thank you! We all know the fastest times around local tracks within the GT3 community, so I just happen to now reset the record again! There's slightly more time in the car, will extract it next winter! =)

I watched this a few times looking for lines etc... it feels like the rear end got upset going over the curbs in turns 3 and 6. I have a feeling the driver could've gone in a little hotter on turn 9 with that line too. Wonderful to ride along with this driver and great car!

@@wrteknica The McLaren Senna is 1:26 I know that and the Czertek or something is 1:25. Not sure if that one is street legal but the Senna clearly is.
@@runningdebate2670 Ok but this is the Porsche GT3 record. We are not claiming the overall street legal car record we are claiming the Porsche GT3 lap record. We have faster lap times in other cars. But this is the record for this chassis.

the Porsche is running Goodyear 3R's which is an OEM Camaro tire from the factory, a street tire is any tire that is street legal and not a racing slick!

@@0foxgiven according to websites like Fastestlaps, A/R7, Toyo RR and semi slicks aren't considered street tires. Technically they're DOT and can be driven on the street legally but does also have marking on the sidewalls that say competition use only LOL

@@wrteknica is that “fine” lol I’m simply stating the fact that your near 200k car is going to get smoked by real engendering car at about 100k . German car domination is over and over priced . They are sweet cars but not whorth what they are charged for!
@@Daintrain2120 I have a 991 gt3 and have a c8 zo6 in order. The c8 will never feel or be even close to how the gt3 drives. Truly an amazing car and I will surely miss mine. Lol the fact that you think a c8 zo6 is gonna “smoke” a gt3. Do you wonder why Chevy has not released the Nurburgring lap times on the zo6 yet? They ran that track a 1,000 times already.

@@Daintrain2120 negative, I have a 991.1 gt3 if you know what that means, so there is a better version which is a 991.2 gt3 with a 4.0 motor and manual trans. The c8 zo6 is a badass car and it will be the one to keep but I will get rid of my .1 for a newer .2 version when the time is right. I have driven a c8 and just the overall size and weight and drive feel will never come close to a Porsche gt car. You just hating on it because you reading numbers and looking at the price. Once you get a ride in one or even drive one, you will know exactly what everybody is talking about.
