I would avoid any dealing with Launch Uk at any cost. Our Launch was never fixed despite our complaints to them. The only person who really tried to help was Daniel from support team. But thats it. This all happened while our Launch was still under warranty period and still in two years free software update period. Then Richard (company owner) said someone called Mike will call you and fix issues with your Launch. Well...Mike offered no help at all and i can prove this as i still have our chat messages on whatapp. At the end we had to buy cheap Autel diagnostic as our Launch didnt work and Launch Uk failed to help us to fix it. Autel machine had much better vehicle coverage, broader functionality options and it would connect and talk to almost any vehicle compared to Launch. We are still very angry with Launch Uk and never even received an appology to say at least.
Mine is amazing! I have had it for over a month now and really enjoyed using it. Used the remote support 3 times now Mercedes Benz van with air bag module coding and was done in 30mins ( I left it plugged in and the remote engineer did it while I fixed a short circuit in a different car) It was successful Did a VW T5 used abs and ECU programing again just let the guy do his thing 35mins it was done Audi RS4 with too many mods and loads of faults. Guy tried for 1.5hours to code and program modules with OEM tool but something else was causing the problem 🙄
Hello mate! Had ours about 6 weeks, we got the dreaded transit Eco blue in and no fault codes but its got ad blue malfunction and so many miles left till no start, any help on how to actually use the smart link would be appreciated!
Looking at launch diagnostic scanners but can't get any updated information on what vehicles they're compatible with. It appears actuation, and special functions no longer work on 2017 and up Jaguar (JLR). So far none of the manufactures can confirm if their product will work other than just simple OBDll codes. JLR terminated Pathfinder April 2022, and everything is DoIP pass through to topix cloud now? Jimmy, have you ever plugged into a 2019 Jaguar F-Pace 20d (diesel) and been able to use all of the functions on any scanner? My understanding is even Volvo is switching over to this cloud only subscription model and the manufactures have not figured out how to crack the coding yet, on newer vehicles. A little help?
looking for some advice please i have a thinkdiag and its telling me dpf sensor has a open circuit, the car is in limp mode 20mph top speed, it did do a regen about a month ago.
Tried it on several older vehicles and its failed on many functions. When plugged in to insignia 2016 it was ok first time and then next evening it would not connect. So i removed the obd and plugged in my cheap like £500 mini autel which read live data with zero issue. If its a brilliant tool then it is so but for newer vehicles. 350 mercedes it cant control airmatic good. 2013 capture it cant control the wipers on the front but can rear. 2006 sprinter 906 cant do dpf regen and no special functions. Als o since being plugged into my 2016 Renault Master the data from the ecu has been crazy. Example like coolant temp voltage in the minus. Loads of other sensors all giving out wrong data. Same when autel ultra plugged in but i never saw the messed up data till launch euro tab turned up
I've logged 3 simple calls since having the euro tab 3, UK company's has about 4 employees , I've spoken to each one even the main guy Richard who did bother to get back to me after my call escalating, I eventually ended up going direct to Germany Launch guys who fixed every issue I had via email within 24hrs ( I've been waiting 3 weeks from launch UK) all they do is push the units, they don't support them, their own staff even admit that ! Great device though, but nothing on Autel and their support , I'm actually selling my x431 euro III because of this so get in touch if Interested I'm going back to Autel

how much screen time can you guys squeeze out of your eurotab 3? Mine dies after 5 h of continuous use - (battery from 100% to 8%)...
I noticed a difference if you charge it from 240v than the in car charger. But yeah similar battery life of what you mentioned

Only comment about launch UK , is that their support is absolutely appalling, and pretty much non-existent
That is pretty much true of all of the Chinese knock off manufactures other than Autel USA
I've found Launch UK support fine. Not that I've really ever needed it
