Not to downplay DaVinici Resolve, but I find it ridiculous that Apple couldn't make a version of Final Cut for iPad. I have a pre M1 iPad so I'll stick to using Lumafusion, but more power to DaVinici. When I get a new iPad, I'll definitely try DR.
@@andregrizzle2287 I don’t have enough memory, that’s my problem. I downloaded DR, it seemed to work ok, but I didn’t get really into to. I’ll get the 2 TB iPad next.
Congrats on the course success! I know it deliverers tremendous value and Im always happy there is a reasonable way to support creators that makes both parties happy.
I want to buy ipad for video editing which ipad will you suggest, I want it to be future proof and can handle all the apps like davinci resolve, Please suggest which should I go for and also with how much storage 🙏
Purchased the promoted course to support your work, thank you for the relevant and useful information! I also wonder why each episode ends up in the middle of your talking? Is it intended?
I feel like Videoleap and Capcut are still far better in some instances. For example, I can unlink audio from video with 1 button. There are speed ramps in Capcut and you can stabilize. You can zoom in the timeline to make micro adjustments/cuts. And finally, the simplicity in those editing apps I edit with on the iPad. These are things I use for professional corporate work and my clients love the end result. Do you think DR is just overhyped?
Those apps are certainly much more simple basic apps. So yes if they provide the functions you need then great! But resolve is a professional app created for Hollywood films. In terms of features it can do everything you mentioned and about a thousand more but yes it certainly can look more complicated because it provides so much more. I wouldn’t say it’s overhyped at all. It’s simply just in a very different class of software than basic editors. Doesn’t. Make those bad options. If you and your clients are happy then that’s all that matters
Hi Mike, just wondering How i can get to the new course platform as i purchased the early course and would like to see the new platform and keep update. Thanks a lot
queria saber pq meu davince resolve tem uma interface um pouco diferente e maior ? não consigo nem achar algumas funções que tem nos tutoriais por causa disso. ALGUEM ME AJUDAAAA não acho em lugar nenhum
Got this back: Hi Richard, That's because mCallouts 2 DV utilizes a tracker node, and the tracker is super limited on the iPad version. If DaVinci Resolve updates the iPad app to fully support it, we'll be able to add mCallouts 2 there :) Regards, Jakub Wojtkowiak MotionVFX Customer Support European office available Monday to Friday 8:00

@thebrazilshow I am using pre m1 iPad Pro just fine with DR. I uninstalled LumaFusion as soon as I had access to all DR icon. Loving DR!

@@thebrazilshow I edit 4k and export 1080p for social media. I will have to see if I can export. I plan on moving from iPad to M2 MacBook Pro soon.
Resolve is a lot better than Final Cut. Especially where grading is concerned
Thanks for giving us the heads up on this update by Motion VFX - Now I can use my plugins on the iPad Loving the iPad version more and more every day
I can’t wait for neat video, dehancer, look designer, and filmconvert to work on the iPad version of Resolve.

I found capcut does not have export quality settings for bit rate which is important
I don’t think you are a professional based off of this comment.

Hey! You should have gotten an email about the new platform but if not can you DM me on insta or twitter and I’ll send you access??
Do you recommend MBP 14” - M2 Pro / 19c GPU, 32GB and 1TB for video editing?
Can these add-ons work on final cut for ipad?
As of right now no, Apple has 3rd party plugins as a “coming soon” feature

What about the iPhone man
It’s such a rip off though if you already own Dehancer. Not worth it to buy again for iPad
mTuber plug-in just $109 😂😂
