I’m 65, eating carnivore a year and 1/2 now both wife and I. Lost 70Ibs in 6 months, pain in feet, knee, hip, shoulder and neck gone!!!! Feel better now than I did at 35. My story is similar to Pete’s, funny thing is my 24x60 ft green house now has an above ground pool inside for my grandkids. Things become simpler, grocery shopping is quick and easy, no more walking every aisle, time spent in the kitchen is reduced tremendously, no more food prep, cooking time is cut drastically, less dishes to wash, it s amazing how much time you gain back eating carnivore. Within 3 weeks carnivore my wife went from having to use a walking cane because of sciatica for two years to walking without the cane and without pain. Both of us are back to our weight we were in high school and feel fantastic.

Awesome I did carnivore for 90 days at the beginning of the year. I only lost 15 lbs. I have discovered I'm insulin resistance. But my cholesterol went down 100 points while I was on it and it brought my HDL and triglycerides to normal levels. I have several health issues. Anyway I have stopped now been 3 month and eating carbs again and feeling crappy again. I also ended up having a major heart attack It was a blood clot. So as of today I have restarted the carnivore diet. I will be 70 next week and I want to live at least another 5 years feeling good again. DR Ken Berry is who I listen to Good luck and God Bless.

Hi Pete, I'm day 74 on carnivore. I was going to do this for 30 days but decided it's very good. My brain cleared up the first week. Also slept thru the night. The second week I stopped frantically running to the bathroom. And my feet were feeling better. I couldn't touch my toes without extreme pain. Couldn't wear shoes over a year.
My skin was hanging off my arms, I would bruise easily and the skin would tare. Now my skin is getting thicker and I have little muscles. Waiting for my turkey neck to disappear.😊
Love my meat, butter and the most nutritious food in the world: fresh farm eggs.

I had the same experience as you. Plant based, then vegetarian, eating organic fruit and veg, no sugar, alcohol or processed foods. I had an assortment of health concerns that crept up on me, fibroids, stiff shoulder, IBS, poor sleep etc. All disappeared completely in the first few weeks of a carnivore lifestyle. It’s been 3 months now and I’m back to the shape I was in my 30s (I’m 62). The biggest surprise was that after 5 weeks my nasal polyps disappeared. I’d been battling with them for 30 years, constant sneezing, puffy face, steroids, 2 surgeries and they still grew back. I’m completely well and pain free for the first time in decades. It’s amazing how fast the body heals on this diet.

@@user-ci4pf9dx6x Hi, it took a week or two to work out what I like and how much I need to buy but this is what I eat now: Breakfast, around 10am is a salmon fillet and 7 slices of streaky bacon (you may call it something different, thin fatty strips). I don’t need lunch. My next meal is around 6pm when I have a ribeye steak and a fried egg. I have cooked chicken thighs and cooked bacon in the fridge in case I feel hungry at lunchtime. I also buy pate sometimes to get some organ meat. After my health was back to 100% I added in a few blueberries after my steak. I can’t tolerate any dairy so don’t use butter or cheese like some carnivores, I cook with beef dripping or tallow. I bought some puffed pork snacks in case I needed to snack in the evenings but I’ve dropped that now. I gave up tea just in case that small amount of plant made a difference. I just drink water now and don’t miss the tea at all. I also supplement with 2 drops of Lugols iodine 12%, drunk in a glass of water daily. I think this helped dissolve the polyps. My grocery bill is less than when I was organic fresh fruit and veg based. I hope that helps, good luck with your carnivore journey.

I was vegetarian 50 years! I was a BELIEVER! 15 years ago I became very ill from Lyme, and then Electro-sensitive. I was tested for food allergies, and crappola- I was allergic to every single veg and fruit that i ate, not allergic to any meat. So I had to eat meat for a few months, improved, but went back on my veges- I still could not conceive that meat was GOOD! Some of us are slow learners. It took another 10 years before I heard about carnivore, and now, 18 months carnivore, and such amazing results.
I still deal with Lyme and mold, so I'm not perfectly healthy. But the improvements are far reaching, and I believe this is the best way to nourish my body to overcome my health issues.
Thanks for presenting Sally Norton's book. It helped me tremendously. I had painful oxalate dumping, but that resolved with her book's info. All my Best to You!!

But I forgot about my Electrolytes.. which I passed out n scared everybody. My Sodium Levels tanked.. like someone zapped my battery. No energy.
We learn... Fast forward a year..
      I'm down 70 lbs..
      No meds.
But Because I've had a Gastric Bypass.. I take vit C w Rose Hip, K2/d3, Bio available Mag, Taurine, NAC n CoQ10. Spread taking them in am/pm.
I'm learning more about our Carnivore blood work.. and what good looks like. Love that Meat butter n salt helps in healing so many.. so much. The journey is worth it!

No fd bananas, no zucchini, no rice and beans, sometimes freeze dry my eggs. I thought I was eating healthy. Now, like you no arthritis, no joint pain, no sugar cravings, no anxiety, which is and was amazing. My skin tags are going away, no tennis elbow, no out of breathe from exertion. I have only lost 27 lbs. but I realize that will take more time as I heal my body. I see those at the doctors office and I think that was me. Scary! Saw someone with Parkinson disease and I wanted to tell them about carnivore. Keep up the good work. I am so much stronger too. I was carnivore back when it wasn't popular. I did great, but once our garden produce came in, the sweet watermelon got me. I went low carb for years. I'm 68 and I started falling without warning. Never been on any meds. I went strict low carb, but my knee kept buckling and I did not have the muscle strength to stop my fall, so I came back to strict carnivore. Within a couple of weeks, I wasn't falling any more and within a month, I wasn't feeling like I needed to hold on to rails when going up and down stairs. I've been carnivore 18 months and I'm staying put. The fresh produce, that my husband brings in, doesn't call my name any more. My husband has never had a broken metabolism and he's still his high school size. He's on no meds, but I see him having some joint issues. Wish I didn't have to deal with having to can the produce and cook it... carnivore is so simple. I already warned my husband, if he develops hypertension, diabetes, dementia, etc, then he's going carnivore like it or not.
I have two dobies and I love them to death. They are the best dogs and stick to me like velcro. Glad I'm strong now, because they run into me sometimes, when they're playing. I raw meat feed them and they are very healthy. I enjoyed your video and I subscribed.

It's very sad, but sugar addiction is very real! And when they say sugar is as destructive as meth .. . that's no joke! Your friend who lost a leg reminds me of a young woman I knew who had gotten on meth; it destroyed her physically, just as sugar is doing to your friend, and she passed away in her early 40's. Trouble is, sugar consumption is normalized, even encouraged . . . everybody does it, and even organizations like the American Heart Association have gotten into the act with the endorsement of products like Honey Nut Cheerios! Meanwhile, our health is on a decline - even life expectancy has gone down - while the big food companies and big pharma continue to line their pockets at our expense!

What amazes me about eating this way is that I'm not hungry despite exercising. Granted it took me a while to get there but now there are days that I don't feel hungry or eat anything, sometimes despite weight lifting. I'm slowly losing weight without effort, and I "cheat" on a weekly basis when I get together with family and there's fruits or berries, cookies, chocolate etc.

One more thing which i forgot to mention...our estimated 10yo GSD (rescued almost 9 yrs ago) is also on carnivore...that includes anything we trapped, hunted, or at times, buy...but meat and organ meat, raw. He acts like he's 4, even the vets think he's 4 (on the rare occasion we had to take him in for some weird infection because he gets bitten by something we don't know or at one point, developed an allergy to chicken from the store bought chicken due to the chemicals in their feed). Super healthy, plays and does the daily patrol of our property with THE Moth (Man of the House) with gusto. he'd go up against a wild boar about 175lbs and hold his own...fearless!

Not gonna touch the biblical reference, but just to inform ruminants can and do carry internal parasites. They're less likely to develop an overload of parasites when ranchers practice rotational grazing and their pastures or enclosures are kept clean and relatively dry, but they can still contract them from the environment, nearby wildlife etc. In fact, keeping both sheep and goats well in the rainy season can be really hard on pastures where the rainwater doesn't drain well. I can't tell you the number of fellow farmers / ranchers I know that have lost almost their entire herds to barber pole worm, for example.
Just want folks to know for the sake of everybody's health, especially if anyone eats big game regularly. Deer, bison, elk, moose, mule deer, pronghorn etc. are all ruminants as well but are all also susceptible to and frequently found to have internal parasite infections. So if you eat a lot of big game, just be mindful and take steps to make sure the meat you eat is safe.

Started the Carnivore Diet about 3 months ago, mainly because of my lifelong battle with bloating and constipation. 3 months ago, I weighed 222 lbs, and as of this morning, I'm 194.5 lbs (a weight I hadn't been for 30+ years) for a total weight loss of 27.5 lbs. My bloating and constipation are gone, as well as acid reflux, fatty liver, brain fog, inflammation, etc. I went from pre-diabetic to normal. My cravings between meals have all gone. As I dont like being told what to eat, I'm not recommending this lifestyle change to anyone, but in my case, it has been a success. Be well...

Sugars and seed oils are killers, Pete. Focus on grass fed, grass finished meats and you will get a proper ratio of omega 6/omega 3 fatty acids. Grain fed meats (like what you get for 'cheap' at the grocery store) will give you WAY too much omega 6.
This approach has helped me go from 320 lbs to 213 lbs in the past 2-1/2 years. I want to drop another 25 or so pounds, but as long as I'm eating properly I know that will eventually come to pass.
I've found a local beef supplier that grows grass fed, grass finished cows. It is more expensive than what you buy at the grocery store, but there is no comparison in quality. What price can you put on good health? I've also started raising my own meat chickens on pasture. I feed them non-GMO feed along with the grass and bugs that they forage for. The flavor of this chicken is way better than what you find in the grocery store.
    Take care and God Bless.
p.s. - Look into Intermittent Fasting next. That REALLY turbo-charged my weight loss.

I'm 65 and went on it last October. I'm now down 80# and all my blood tests are spot on normal range for the first time in 25 years. I had a LOT of health issues and they are all gone now. Doc said, whatever you are doing, keep doing that. Until I told him I was doing carnivore and he told me I shouldn't do that. I asked him why and he said it wasn't healthy. I said, "Look at my test results and tell me what part isn't healthy. Also, compare that to my physical from last year and tell me what change has been unhealthy." He looked, got a little red in the face, and said, "Well, generally it's not a healthy thing but I can't argue with success. Your numbers look better than mine." So he couldn't admit he was wrong but he couldn't admit I was right either. LOL!. If you do this, the things I would change about going on with similar conditions to yours is phase over to it, drink LOTS of electrolytes to begin with, understand the first 7-10 days you won't feel great while your body is transitioning, and don't do it cold turkey. Phase transition over 3-4 days because your body is used to running on straight glucose and adaptation is a thing. The best thing I did right other than actually doing it is LEARN as much as you can from online medical experts, particularly Dr. Ken Barry. Go back tin their timelines and learn what's going on and why. Good luck.... good health!

Almost all the vegetables we grow today have only been in our diet for about 500 years. It started when Christopher Columbus and the Spaniards went to Central and South America and found all these different types of vegetables that we have today and brought them back to Europe and grew them there where they were pollinated and hybridized over the years.

@@petebeasttexashomesteading - I've been diving into this topic. It looks like there's a pretty big movement that believes all plants are toxic. But that can't be right. I can think of bananas and avocados right off the bat that would be hard to poke holes in. There has to be others that when prepared correctly are not toxic. For example, I believe that beans, when pressure canned release their lectins.
I have an orchard the same size as yours. I would love to figure out some use for it. But first I need to try carnivore for myself and see if I feel any different.

Hi Pete, Are you going to start raising cattle or just buy from stores? You're looking better and getting rid of that visceral fat is the best thing for your health. Too many carbs equals too much sugar which is our enemy. So many diseases are cured by doing what you are doing. God Bless.

I have had an extreme knee pain that comes and goes. Don’t eat much vegetables. Mostly carnivore. I am hoping this disappears when going strict carnivore

Wow, no more gardening. Sheep, cattle, goats, deer, giraffes and llamas are ruminant animals. This means that they have a four-chambered stomach. The four chambers of the ruminant stomach are the reticulum, rumen, omasum and abomasum. The rumen serves as a large fermentation vat in which bacteria and other microorganisms reside.

The key one with the "why ruminants" is in relation to grass fed vs grain fed. Grass fed means they're using the bacteria to convert the fibre to tryglycerides (ancestrally appropriate) vs grain fed where they're on a carb heavy diet and their fat will have higher Omega6 and be more inflammatory for us.
