Check Starcraft Universe, it's a MMORPG inside Starcraft on a timeline where Kerrigan was killed and Amon won and you are among the last of the resistance.
Bullshit on that first cut scene, I didn't see even a single overlord yet she has thousands of zerg units, she would have no supply and her army would crumble.
1) yes there were overlords in the first attack scene. What do you think dropped the Matrix tentacle things at the very beginning that the Terran air units were trying to attack. That was an overlord 2) They're pretty spectacularly high in the sky, farther from danger and a less pressing issue than the invading masses of Lings, Hydras, and Ultralisks. This is confirmed at the final scene where Kerrigan ascends into the sky after she says goodbye to Jimmy boy. So in the invading scenes where the shots are close to the ground... it would a little difficult to get a good angle on the overlords, and the ensuing battle.
I feel so very bad for Jimmy. He sacrifices everything to make Kerrigan human again and she goes right back to becoming the Queens if Blades Plus if you will. It's true she thought Jim was dead but even in deaty he wouldn't want her to go back. "I moved heaven and Earth to bring you back Sarah, don't throw it all away." Poor Jim :( and now she's of to fight Amon. I hope at the end of Legacy she somehow get's human again and together with Jim cuz goddamn he deserves a break! I hope he also remembers "I love you Jim, don't you forget it." Yes, he said: "we're done." But you bet your ass he still has feelings for her, and they will never go away. But she did kill billiond and Fenix. Jim should change his facebook status to 'it's complicated'.
I think i just found out its Tricia Helfer who does Kerigan voice. I've watched Battlestar Galactica and played hours of Starcraft but i just now realized its her.
I'm 35 and i played Starcraft 20 years ago. I was a fanatic. Play it for years. And after all, i can say, this is the best strategy game ever created. Is like was created by an alien mind. So calculated, so fair, so good.
The ending is weirdly sad. Those sad eyes and Kerrigan ascending to the leviathan. They brought so much character to Kerrigan and the other main characters! Well done!
I just love how Kerrigan's face is shrouded in darkness, as marine says they are surrounded, and they are not going to make it, and when her face is going back to light, sending order for zerg to pull back, and let survivors go. Just awesome detail. :D
@Alexis Victrix because, I believe, they're still bogged down in planning for the SUPPOSEDLY upcoming Warcraft movie. TBH, I would prefer to see a Starcraft one. Or ... a few of them. First one covers the events of the original game, second covers the Brood War, third covers Wings and fourth covers Swarm with the fifth to cover the Void. Would be pretty epicsauce.
8:35 I think Raynor mentioned about riding “bike” because Raynor was ride on his vulture when they first meet and fight together (when Kerrigan was a ghost with the gun and Raynor ride on a bike), which now they are like back to their old time. Gonna give credit for blizzard to bring back that moment so deep back in 1998.
Fuck This... a Girl Loves Boy, she thinks the bad man killed him, She has nothing to live for, she turns into a Zerg, brings a big army to kill the Bad man! then she discovers the boy is alive, she saves him from the bad mans prison, the boy angry at her for becoming Zerg again, they brake up! Then they make up again, kill the Bad Man Together! Then she says good bye! She Flys away to Fight an Evil God!
***** he sent her to die deliberately, because she was against the idea of putting psi-emmiters on Tarsonis, to attract the zerg. he definitely could have sent a ship to pick her up an fly away! there was plenty of time
jaguar4u2012 A girl loves a boy Some other people seperate them They have to make tough decisions to get back together They separate as a result of these tough decisions, but end up reconciling They ally and defeat what initally seperated them They find peace, but then an open ending occurs, one must go Hmm that sums up a vast part of all love stories, how is it? Oh yeah, it's being way too general like an imbecile trying to sound smart in comparing 2 things while ignoring huge chunks of details
Blizzard should made movies on every popular games they made, animated like this of course not with live-action.. surely a lot of fans of those games plus other movies goers will go, ofc i will too
I don't know if some of you tried, but almost every cinematic in HOTS is 3D based with some kind of smooth blur filter (which by the way provides a very nice rendering), though if you make different choices in the order of the missions, then your cinematic will be coherent. For example, I completed Zerus missions before I go to char, and it's definitely the primal Queen who faces Warfield. Blizzard really made a very clean and outstanding work at every level ;)
dennis gems Yeah, the first game did storywise. Starcraft 2 on the other hand is quite terrible in terms of plot. Good cinematic's but so predictable. Reasons why Starcraft 2 story sucks 1. Jim Raynor after SC1 (vowing to kill her) forgives Kerrigan and wants to make her human so he can bang her. 2. Terran Campaign is pointless resulting in Kerrigan becoming a Zerg again. 3. The Xel Naga is equivalent to the Burning Legion in Warcraft 3, though can't make full judgement until the last expansion pack comes out. 4. Pointless love story. 5. Zerg being a good faction? Even under Kerrigan's control it is stupid. They are wild beasts with a hive mind intelligence.
Kevin Manrique You didn't explain how that stuff doesn't logically follow, you just dislike it. Personally I think Starcraft 2 is head and shoulders above Starcraft I, and most game franchises these days, in terms of plot, story, and characters. And I haven't even played it. This game's cinematics and narrative are incredible, in spite of how much "sense" certain developments supposedly make or not.
DarkCyberElf (Mylon Requiem) Have you even played SC1 and Brood War? Then you wouldn't understand. LesPaul2006 See 4:30-4:50. Jim doesn't give a shit about the prophecy. He wants to bang Kerrigan ("This is about you and me") when she was mostly human again. I just want to add that even though I dislike the story, I do like the gameplay and that is why I played these games and will still buy the last expansion.
Kevin Manrique I've played a bit of SC1 and Brood War way back in the day, but I never knew anything about the plot until recently, and so I went and watched all of the campaign cutscenes and cinematics from both games and their expansions, so while I can't vouch for gameplay, I assure you, after extensive research on the narrative, Starcraft II is incredible story-telling. I wouldn't understand? How so? I'm an outsider with a unique perspective, I understand more than you do. The fact that you've played the game means _you_ don't understand. Whether or not the game *fits* the game is also besides the point, since I've WATCHED the game play quite a lot. Surrogate experience: I get to let someone do the heavy-lifting and watch the results in theatrical fashion. For the record, Raynor already banged Kerrigan. For her, Jim isn't the first one either. He and Sarah already have a relationship that goes far beyond any other relationships in the game series by the end of the events of Brood War, and it's so much more complicated than just "because he wanted to bang her (again)". A certain someone wasn't paying attention and reading between the lines, and was instead getting bored by this thing called "narrative" meant to *enhance* the story of game, not just provide a rhyme and reason.
There are lots of people that say they didn't like this plot. This was actually one of the most compelling of the Starcraft saga. I really think, as a whole campaign, only ONE out of the other EIGHT main SC1 and SC2 campaigns beats it in the "Quality Storyline" category (yes of fu***ng COURSE WOL beat it). Raynor moved heaven and earth to bring her back, but she also NEEDED (not just wanted, I really mean NEEDED) revenge. And yet, for a moment, she wanted SO badly to be with Jim that she put that aside, and she still sought after Jim when he didn't escape, the scene in the shuttlecraft where she tried to contact him. And then, she found out that he was dead, and Arcturus Mengsk's speech was an insult and mockery to her. That is what the look between her and the Zergling in that cutscene REALLY meant, in my opinion: 13:02 Arcturus Mengsk: In short, we have won. Zergling (its demonic face in the darkness): He's wrong. You know that. Kerrigan: But I'm lost without Jim. I can't go back to being a Zerg. Zergling: You HAVE to. We are alike, you and I. We are fear, we are death. We are the devil. And yet, even we are less of a devil than the one who made you a monster. Who did that? Who made you into a monster? Kerrigan: ...Mengsk. Zergling: And who killed the one hope you ever had of becoming yourself again? Kerrigan: 13:19 Zergling: You know what you must do. Kerrigan: 13:20 -gets up and does stuff Zergling: That's my girl. 😈
Thanks for the upload, I have purchased the game (I purchased digitally all Starcraft collection, anthologies, WoL and HoTS) but while my computer can play the game fine, it can't run the full motion videos without constantly freezing so this is really helpful to me!
she used to be a ghost and was sent with raynor on a mission back. They got overrun by zerg raynor escaped she was supposed to be extracted by minsk but he left her behind so the zerg captured her. The overmind didnt want to kill her and made her the queen of blades to extend his powers. overmind died at the end of the broodwar campaign so she became the new zerg leader. you should watch the sc1 cutscenes as well they are amazing :)
Kiper Rainarch Yeah. I also haven't tried those, so I don't have any clue what those are called. But at least in UA-cam there are some game mode videos of people who have done fps modes for Sc2 :)
It was a choice, a way to get her powers back without the 'taint' of Amon. Basically there are two types of Queens of Blades. The first one, where she was controlled by Amon behind the scenes and the second one here, where she becomes the "Primal" Queen of Blades.
AnimeHDEvolution Yes, the first time she was under the influential of Amon, then she turned into a human -> she wants to live with jim together, she hears in the news jim is dead -> she has nothing left than her revenge against Mensk so she turns again into a zerg(this time she is herself without the influential of amon and she is "the swarm") to get more power to kill mensk. I hope that answered everything :D (sorry for my bad english)
His fucking dialogue "Hey meng, sorry for doing that shit to ya" "You murdered my best friend and you are literally Space Hitler but it's okay it was in the past" 'SUIT UP" Holy fuck Blizzard
Never gave up on her? Bitch please, if it weren't for Zeratul literally showing him what would happen if he killed Kerrigan (which he did, and were suppose to according to the original timeline), he would've killed her for what she did in Brood War.
kinda feels like Twilight, in the way that so many people died, but who cares because they love each other. The whole "It wasn't her that killed those people" is rubbish aswell. Her desire for revenge is what got millions killed. Arthas in WoW was not himself and still he managed to hold back the scourge. But he wasn't a hot girl that Tirion was in love with, so he had to die...
EsotericSanity Arthas was dead the time he gave his soul to Frostmourne, becoming a death knight. All death knights are dead (if it wasn't obvious already lol). But your point is good.
NEVER LUCKY that was quite debatable for some time, till Chris Metzen came out and said Arthas never died. Even after ripping his own heart out, players find it beating.
kleash Chris Metzen is the one making the stories.. You can't fire J K Rowling after the first couple of Harry Potter books because you don't like where the story is going..
jacobhamselv Unlike her, he didn't start the story but was allowed to take over it greatly. Because of that, he basically owns it like it was his from the beginning. He should have a wake up call that people are not happy with the story anymore. But we'll always stick with it :/
I didn't play the game, but do I understand it right? She killed millions of innocent men, women and children just to take revenge on one guy? And we must sympathize her because why? She's hot? And her boyfriend is like: "Sure, darling, I was glad to help. Fly away, it's not like you murdered more people than Hitler did..." This looks like the most misanthropic love story ever. O_0
The first time she was queen of blades she was turn against her will and being programmed to be a bitch and yes, she killed and betrayed a fuck load of people. *SPOILER ALERT AHEAD* Now she's the queen of blades again to stop Amon (who is gonna kill everyone around) and kill Mengsk (who left her for death on a zerg infested planet triggering her becoming queen for the first time and he is enabling Amon's assistant Narud to do experiments with Terran, Zerg and Protoss subjects under Terran facilities) so yes she is a bitch but we could go with the "Kill millions to save billions, kill billions to save trillions" thing and we might find the legal loophole who categorizes her as a hero.
Directly and indirectly through her, she's a murderer a million times over. Yes. But she's also built up to be the only way of defeating the ominous, godlike "Fallen One" and his powerful Protoss-Zerg Hybrids. So we are made to understand that it will all turn out to have been for the best of the universe in the end, and that she's the only solution. She's an anti-hero in that sense.
it may not seem like it to those who are not in the film industry but making a bunch of cinematics and making a coherent movie are two completely different beasts. a movie needs more then just great looks, intense music and explosions - and that is something that Blizzard understands completely. hence Warcraft movie has been in development for years now.
1:34 did you edit that iconic scream in or was it an actual part of the game's cutscene? It's a split second between the thing stepping on the marine and swtiching over to the next frames.
28:23
"I made you into a monster."
"Alright, then, I'll make you into a bomb."

Kerrigan (as Queen of Blades) is one of the greatest villains in any story that has ever, or will ever be told.
I hope he also remembers "I love you Jim, don't you forget it."
Yes, he said: "we're done." But you bet your ass he still has feelings for her, and they will never go away. But she did kill billiond and Fenix.
Jim should change his facebook status to 'it's complicated'.
im pissed she had to kill the general, he was a badass
It looks like she killed him out of spite, but maybe it was out of mercy. He was going to die anyway by the looks of it.
cuddlefish lol no. Entirely separate characters
So attempted omnicide of her own species to fulfill a grudge doesn't bother you, but she just went a step to far with (character x) huh?
Raynor: Hero, inspirational, brilliant commander, and a good man. You've got my respect, man.
"Goliath Online" Still my favorite quote from all of the Starcraft games.
I think i just found out its Tricia Helfer who does Kerigan voice. I've watched Battlestar Galactica and played hours of Starcraft but i just now realized its her.
what a sick love story jim and kerry had....
the most beautiful one too
The last part is like -- Jim:"I just got blue balled again..."
*After Jim Leaves*
"damn...how do I get these handcuffs off"
28:08 I'm sorry, but Jim closing his helmet is just the funniest thing to see in the background of that epic scene.
If StarCraft II was a real movie in the real world it would be better! I would watch it in the movies over and over again!
I'm 35 and i played Starcraft 20 years ago. I was a fanatic. Play it for years. And after all, i can say, this is the best strategy game ever created. Is like was created by an alien mind. So calculated, so fair, so good.
That first cinematic is fucking epic! I would totally watch a movie if it was made like that.
Gives me chills every time
Wow, what a really original and productive content with really solid sources!
*Doctor:* you have 30 minutes to live
*Me:* watches this until I cry my guts off
*Also me:* This love-story would be a perfect book!
The ending is weirdly sad. Those sad eyes and Kerrigan ascending to the leviathan. They brought so much character to Kerrigan and the other main characters! Well done!
I love all Sc2 cutscenes, but we have to admit, Kerrigan looks different in every scene! x)
That's the point, "She Evolves" :P
I just love how Kerrigan's face is shrouded in darkness, as marine says they are surrounded, and they are not going to make it, and when her face is going back to light, sending order for zerg to pull back, and let survivors go. Just awesome detail. :D
Sometimes, being the anti-hero feels so good.
"i never give up on you sarah, dont you give up on us"
everytime i replay the game and reach this part....
Maybe in 2113.
Moral of this story: revenge is good.
Haha...18:10 Did anyone else see the simularities with that new game Evolve being released soon?.
It was exactly how the game is lol.
Ahhhh the feels
That ending always gets me.
Fuck This...
a Girl Loves Boy, she thinks the bad man killed him,
She has nothing to live for, she turns into a Zerg, brings a big army to kill the Bad man!
then she discovers the boy is alive, she saves him from the bad mans prison, the boy angry at her for becoming Zerg again,
they brake up!
Then they make up again, kill the Bad Man Together!
Then she says good bye!
She Flys away to Fight an Evil God!
*****
he sent her to die deliberately,
because she was against the idea of putting psi-emmiters on Tarsonis, to attract the zerg.
he definitely could have sent a ship to pick her up an fly away!
there was plenty of time
what potato gave you the indication I hate the game?!
moron *****
jaguar4u2012
A girl loves a boy
Some other people seperate them
They have to make tough decisions to get back together
They separate as a result of these tough decisions, but end up reconciling
They ally and defeat what initally seperated them
They find peace, but then an open ending occurs, one must go
Hmm that sums up a vast part of all love stories, how is it? Oh yeah, it's being way too general like an imbecile trying to sound smart in comparing 2 things while ignoring huge chunks of details
2CSST2
indeed it sounds imbecile!
cause you have no talent
jaguar4u2012 No it sounds imbecile cause it copies you moron
8:35 the look she gives to Jim after, "Not just the bike i'll be riding"
Narud - "You will see him soon..."
2020 Me - "I can't hear you, my hearing aid is acting up. Did you say Starcraft 3?"
nope, still not here lol
honestly i really like the way this ended, with Arcturus with a beast plan, raynor comin in, no cowardly tears or begging on mengsks part,
THAT..Was Beautiful!!!
Would love to see a 2+ hour movie with these characters, graphics, voice acting etc
"I never gave up on you Sarah, don't you give up on us," -Jim/ Some powerful stuff
i do not care the least about the star craft games, but their universe is fascinating. i'd love to see a movie. or two. or three.
Jim's weak..If my woman's the Queen of Blades and says that she loves me, I'm not complaining.
Reproduction might be a problem.
@@Redtecho Okay, you got a point there...
Awesome kinematics and storyline man, thanks fore the upload !!!
Why they make a movie 4 WoW, why not 4 Starcraft ???? Starcraft kills starwars and star trek together !!!
dennis gems Yeah, the first game did storywise. Starcraft 2 on the other hand is quite terrible in terms of plot. Good cinematic's but so predictable.
Reasons why Starcraft 2 story sucks
Kevin Manrique Kerrigan had to live because of the Prophecy, not because Jim wanted to bang her.
Kevin Manrique
I've played a bit of SC1 and Brood War way back in the day, but I never knew anything about the plot until recently, and so I went and watched all of the campaign cutscenes and cinematics from both games and their expansions, so while I can't vouch for gameplay, I assure you, after extensive research on the narrative, Starcraft II is incredible story-telling.
That is what the look between her and the Zergling in that cutscene REALLY meant, in my opinion:
13:02
Arcturus Mengsk: In short, we have won.
Kerrigan: 13:19
Zergling: You know what you must do.
Kerrigan: 13:20 -gets up and does stuff
Zergling: That's my girl. 😈
Ok .. thats it... Im gonna play all the campaings again...
Me too... downloading right now 😂
Thanks for the upload, I have purchased the game (I purchased digitally all Starcraft collection, anthologies, WoL and HoTS) but while my computer can play the game fine, it can't run the full motion videos without constantly freezing so this is really helpful to me!
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself as a villain ( or in this case get captured infected and becam a villain)
tokyo ghoul you cheesy man
23:45 I love this part
"What have you done?"
"What I had to..."
"Tell that to Fenix..."
At least we got a reference.
wow i never played starcraft before but this is amazing wish it was a TPS or something like that.
I've watched this a thousand times and it goddamn breaks my heart they don't make animated movies like these.
A lot better love story than twilight ...
Please dont even compare it to that.
iSkyce ya, I agree :)
she used to be a ghost and was sent with raynor on a mission back.
That is what happend when you go mass marines/tanks against a diamond zerg player 1:40
Most amazing story & best RTS ever!
Holy wtf is this shit, I've only watched the first minute but I can say I've never watched such epicness ever before in my entire puny life.
Can we talk about the sound design? just *P E R F E C T*
Tell that to FENIX!!! - Poor Fenix... Let's hope he'll be back in LotV to beat some sense into Jim....
+Cosma Geo
He will be back...... but without arms to beat anything with
And yet, that is the most badass thing I have seen in a long time.
Kerrigan should have turned him into an infested terran at the end.
They should LITERALLY make films like this, I didn't play any of these games but would SOO watch a bit more to understand the whole story. :)
I wish star craft had a first person mode.
In arcade there is a game mode that is FPS mode.
OMG ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?
THE ONE GAMEMODE IS SERIOUSLY HAVEN"T PLAYED >_
Kiper Rainarch Yeah. I also haven't tried those, so I don't have any clue what those are called. But at least in UA-cam there are some game mode videos of people who have done fps modes for Sc2 :)
The starcraft 2 campaign was the best and still is... The difference between thefirst starcraft and this one makes it even better!
Abathur is hot.
Is confused.Searches up hot on Google.looks at comment again.smiles
Benny 1668
:P
Abathur is love, Abathur is life, Abathur is evolution.
NO HE ISENT
his mouth is like talking p**sy
I LOVE this Zergling. I want one!
I also would feed him good for sure; I mean, I know more than enough ashohles.
How did she become the queen of blades again? Went into an egg or someone forced her?
It was a choice, a way to get her powers back without the 'taint' of Amon.
Basically there are two types of Queens of Blades.
The first one, where she was controlled by Amon behind the scenes and the second one here, where she becomes the "Primal" Queen of Blades.
This time she became the Zerg itself.
She thought Jim is dead so her only and last aim was to kill Mengsk so she transformed herself again into the queens of blades to get more power.
Naratik And the first time Amon possessed her ?
AnimeHDEvolution Yes, the first time she was under the influential of Amon, then she turned into a human -> she wants to live with jim together, she hears in the news jim is dead -> she has nothing left than her revenge against Mensk so she turns again into a zerg(this time she is herself without the influential of amon and she is "the swarm") to get more power to kill mensk. I hope that answered everything :D (sorry for my bad english)
12:03 that zergling scene is awesome! LOL. Makes me wish I had a pet zergling, I don't care how big it is LOL
THAT ACTUALLY MADE ME CRY.
His fucking dialogue
"Hey meng, sorry for doing that shit to ya"
"You murdered my best friend and you are literally Space Hitler but it's okay it was in the past"
'SUIT UP"
Holy fuck Blizzard
Never gave up on her? Bitch please, if it weren't for Zeratul literally showing him what would happen if he killed Kerrigan (which he did, and were suppose to according to the original timeline), he would've killed her for what she did in Brood War.
or would he.
Sarah Kerrigan and the original Queen of Blades are not the same person. What ever she did before turning into human again was not from her own will.
Ahh maan thanks for the video! Was amazing everything at the same place :-)
kinda feels like Twilight, in the way that so many people died, but who cares because they love each other.
Chris Metzen should be fired already...or at least stop ruining the story in our favorite games...
kleash Chris Metzen is the one making the stories..
But we'll always stick with it :/
Thank you for the upload, this was amazing.
I didn't play the game, but do I understand it right? She killed millions of innocent men, women and children just to take revenge on one guy? And we must sympathize her because why? She's hot? And her boyfriend is like: "Sure, darling, I was glad to help. Fly away, it's not like you murdered more people than Hitler did..."
This looks like the most misanthropic love story ever.
Joshua Villavicencio She is a Hero!
Hero to the swarm!
#Spawnmoreoverlords
Directly and indirectly through her, she's a murderer a million times over. Yes. But she's also built up to be the only way of defeating the ominous, godlike "Fallen One" and his powerful Protoss-Zerg Hybrids. So we are made to understand that it will all turn out to have been for the best of the universe in the end, and that she's the only solution. She's an anti-hero in that sense.
Abaddon133 She's the hero the Korpulu sector needs....But doesnt deserve :P
You clearly don't play enough RTS games. All those "peoples" lives are worthless in pursuit of victory on the battlefield.
Good thing the Xel'naga Construct somehow survived that big explosion.
the force is strong with her
it may not seem like it to those who are not in the film industry but making a bunch of cinematics and making a coherent movie are two completely different beasts.
a movie needs more then just great looks, intense music and explosions - and that is something that Blizzard understands completely. hence Warcraft movie has been in development for years now.
one hell of a game!!!
1:34 did you edit that iconic scream in or was it an actual part of the game's cutscene?
It's a split second between the thing stepping on the marine and swtiching over to the next frames.
