Unfortunately, this channel has been demonetized by UA-cam for the third time and therefore the Game Movie Vault has been closed. It was fun for over 10 years but I can no longer afford to spend the time to make these videos without being reimbursed by UA-cam. I have started a second channel that focuses on Diablo 4 and I am thinking of starting another separate Game Lore channel very soon.

Hello.
I wanted to say thanks for making this cinematic video. You went ahead and added the gameplay cutscenes with the conversations with the characters, so it's not only the CG pieces. This is very interesting, as it keeps the story cohesive and we don't miss out any narrative parts wherever they may play out in the game.
The editing is also sensible. I hope you do a video like this for the third game, whenever it's released.

Other videos on youtube where they only show the cutscenes misses out soo much of the story, as they apear in in-game cutscenes. I want to take the time to sincerely thank you for the time and trouble of putting this toghether mate :D

There are FPS customs inside of Starcraft 2 Arcade.
Also, it was probably better that they kept Starcraft solely a RTS, so they could have more titles that belong only to that genre. It's partly the reason why Warcraft is going to stay an MMO RPG and why they are creating Overwatch to be their FPS title.
N Sil They didn't fail, they just cancelled the game before it was finished because they didn't like the direction that it was heading it. As stated in this conversation: people would prefer it if Starcraft stayed as a strategy game, and it seems like Blizzard agreed with them.

Thinking about it, Jim Raynor must be the unluckiest man alive in Starcraft lore. he goes through heaven and earth to get Kerrigan and humanize her again only to have her slip from his fingers and reunite again with a Zerged Kerrigan who must leave him to lead the Zerg against Amon.
He could have gotten that scientist girl back in WoL, but no.
Personally I think zerged Kerrigan is smoking... Raynor should just zergify himself, be her badass consort, if they're all going to potentially die fighting Amon why not? Might as well lights out with his balls between her teeth!

Though Why was she so easily duped by that? Like the media lies. Who hasn't heard that one? She went along so easy. Kinda weak imo. I think if she could have heard it from some other means it would have been more compelling. Like a fight and she think she sees him fall in battle by the dominion.

In preparation for LotV, my feedback is that your SC/BW movie was slightly better because you included a little more of the in-game action at the beginning/end of missions which I think made it 'flow' better. Thanks for all your great work.

The words Raynor says are so simple yet they somehow hold so much weight.
I prefer his words from Brood War, and I wish they were followed through. Blizzard turned StarCraft 2 (both parts) into a love story. His words to Kerrigan in Brood War:
Jim Raynor: "I'll see you dead for this, Kerrigan. For Fenix and all the others who got caught between you and your mad quest for power!"
Kerrigan: "Tough talk, Jimmy. But I don't think you have what it takes to be a killer."
Jim Raynor: "It may not be tomorrow, darlin'. It may not even happen with an army at my back. But rest assured: I'm the man who's going to kill you some day. I'll be seein' you."

The moment Kerrigan killed Warfield, a man who fought besides Raynor to save her, I pretty much began to hate her. When this is all over and done with, Jim should put a bullet between her eyes. She deserves it. I don't care how "sorry" she feels.

***** Warfield doesn't feel like an ally if he kept Kerrigan from controlling her brood in char. Do you think you could convince Warfield that there is a bigger threat in the Koprulu sector other than Kerrigan?
+N Slater Warfield was badass general but he couldn't be changed,he was still dominion instrument of war.He hated zerg and Kerrigan and would kill her in her human form if he just had a chance. There was only one fate for him,and Blizzard did it right in epic cinematic.But even then Kerrigan showed her humanity by sparing wounded and civilians from obliteration. For the swarm :)

and besides the Protoss didn't even give her a chance to explain herself they saw her and was like "OMG the Queen Of Blades summon the Golden Armada kill this monster" so they basically " declared war " on her right there so anything that happens after is on them for starting it

I remember watching the scene where General Warfield died but Kerrigan then was human. Why was Kerrigan Zerg looking in this campaign?

Funny thing is, the Terrans conquered Char twice from the Zerg: first by the UED, second time by the dominion with help from Raynor's Raiders.

Best collection of cut scenes! If you StarCraft players, enjoyed Wings Of Liberty and Heart Of The Swarm, check out Legacy Of The Void for the continuation of the StarCraft 2 trilogy.
HotS was a great storyline, a huge step up from WoL imo; if Legacy of the Void is the same improvement over HotS it's going to be epic.
Well Imo WoL was great as well....the one bad thing about WoL imo was that the story didnt really progress much after you get to Hyperion and until you arrive on Char....and that's because WoL had much more options in what order to complete the missions...this automatically causes compromises where the storytelling cant be as neat as it would be when there is more clear order to complete the missions.
So ye, in that snese WoL was bit weaker, but I still enjoyed its story and great cutscenes.

Heart of the Swarm ended better than I thought. I was sure at first that Jim was lost and then Sarah finds him alive being held by the Dominion. Also, despite becoming the queen of blades again, Sarah does seem different than her previous incarnation. For the better I mean.
