I wish I'd grown up in this generation play these games all I ever played was pong and Pac-Man. I must say I still do my Nintendo 64 with duck shoot, but with donkey Kong I can never get that girl that has jump up off that tire on the cliff. I grew up chewing on metal toys made out of lead paint from China. So was really freaking amazing. I taught school for 30 years junior high is still my favorite age in between knowing nothing and everything. I've been playing Starcraft since the first one came out in '98 when I was only 5 years old. From the first time this trailer released to even now, I cry every time I watch it.

He was so scared man, but he knew he had to stay strong to fight off the enemy. He followed his orders, and now he's in the rubble of the graveyard of a city he once called home. And he just collapses on the ground, his soul is defeated, heart is shattered... he hardly calls that a victory.
Starcraft is simply the best story-game ever created. I played the game for years, never got old. People think hero avengers story is cool... to me this is an even more amazing hero story with a way much better ending. One day I hope to sit down in a Imax movie theater and watch this story with Raynor, Kerrigan, Zeratul and Artanis. It really deserves that at least! - 2019

So now, I'm only watching a game movies, and this one is one of the best, but also a movies about MK X and MK 11 are also great. Hollywood studios evolve to bussiness companies, and they're producing avarage or bad movies with too much sfx to earn fuckin' profit, not to make a good entertainment movies anymore. Just take a look a new remastered edition of Half Life 1 game named Black Mesa, this game have a better story than every single sf movie in the last 6-8 years, plus you trully enjoy watching gameplay campain on YT. Warcraft movie is another great Blizzard's peace of art based on the same game, so we are all witnessing a new era where we have a sf game movies who are way better than sf movies from movie industry, so I have no reason to continue wasting my time watching trash releases from Hollywood. Am i the only one who thinks we need a full-on StarCraft movie??? We have the whole story, we have the lore, we have everything you need for a good 3h+ long movie. Tricia Helfer is perfect for the role of Kerrigan before the zerg turn her into the Queen of blades and also the voice, cos i mean c'mon - she IS the voice of Kerrigan. And Jessica Biel i think would nail the altered look. Also Keanu Reeves would make a perfect James Raynor. "Hell, It's about time!" I mean c'mon - they made a WoW movie but not a StarCraft. It's a damn shame. But one thing is a must - the director should know the world of StarCraft. They should make whoever directs it to play every single game and read all the story and lore before start directing. Then we would finally have a successful video game based movie :)

Considering it was from the cutscenes of the game, it would need work to be a full fledged movie, but the core is rock solid and they did a magnificent job on the graphics. If they'd work the dialogue, so we'd have the in-between the cut scenes it could easily be a blockbuster movie

As I recall the zerg invaded Aiur and Tassadar having learned to use dark templar energy from Zeratul is what enable him to take down the overmind, they still lost the planet but if the overmind lived it would have been total annihilation.
Zeratul killed a cerebrate with his psi blades but at the exact moment of the kill there was psionic interconnection between his mind and the cerebrate's one and they shared thoughts that revealed to Zeratul Overmind's plan, but also the exact location of Aiur to the Swarm. After that, the zerg headed towards the Protoss homeworld and destroyed it.
Every time I hear Tychus screaming because he's the one the voodoo doll effects...... makes me giggle - Let me rephrase that, any time I hear Tychus being all pathetic and wimpy.... makes me giggle. Especially when he's all like 'uuuhhh... A little help here...? ..... Anybody.....? - And of course, the End. Where Jim and Sarah reunite and disappear together.... is just perfect. A simple human and a Xel'Naga guardian. Living and loving together in the end.

There's a good bit missing were Jim finds Kerrigan and her change . It would have been nice to see that combat leading up to it and to see what caused her change .
I really like this story. I feel sorry for the hero. But at the end, the ending was very good. Making a big movie would be great. Love is really great.

I really like this story. I feel sorry for the hero. But at the end, the ending was very good. Making a big movie would be great. Love is really great.
