This is a Chinese incense burner with Chinese characteristics. The materials, shapes, patterns and volumes of incense burners used in royal, folk custom, religion, and sacrifices were strictly distinguished in ancient times.
Xiaoxi’s incense burner has no complicated patterns. The hollow pattern on the lid is a bat pattern, which means happiness.

I smile every time I see something in the background that you made in your older videos. I think to myself "hey, I know that stone pot, I’ve seen it being born!" and it warms my heart. It must be wonderful to have this sense of familiarity with all the items you have throughout the house. I’ve also noticed a few insect assistants that made appearance during the wax carving. I hope you’ve put them to good use and made them do all the polishing for you. It is good to see you back!

It's been so long since i last carved something, and this video made me miss it so much (although i don't miss the tedium of the sanding process!). Watching your evolution and growth as an artisan through your videos is so inspiring to me, i love seeing you taking on bigger projects and challenging yourself further. YAAAY, Xiao Xi is back. You cut your hair again too, everytime I see your hair like this you remind me of a little school boy. Lol. The copper incense burner looks beautiful, I could see that you were able to utilize some of the skills you learned from your previous projects. I almost thought you were going to go way extra and make the incense too. I myself have been looking into making bakhoor, which is middle eastern incense. I definitely don't have the abilities to make an incense burner though, ha.

at the end of your video we really didn't get to see it. all those "windows" ( I am not sure what to call them) were blocking our view from being able to see the incense burner . which was kind of odd. your videos have never done that before. Did you notice this? I just wish I could have seen the final result of all your hard work.
