Other MCs in Australia and the UK openly gives chefs the recipes on pieces of paper. Maybe they project it somewhere off camera on a screen? It’s insane
Apparently they get the recipes at that time and do a test run. Then a final run that is what they present to the judges. They probably cut the two together to make it more dramatic for the final result, or film just the “final run” for the challenge.
I always thought that they had a recipe sheet under the table and the cameras just never show them referring to it.

the fact sabrina's strategy actually worked cuz she got the one person she never got along with eliminated. Wow.
Michael's team strategy sent Cody careening out of the competition until he earned his way back in - there were a few really well executed strategies this season, including Green Team winning the Poutine challenge (by employing Jennifer as a walking advertisement and the team having a dedicated assembly line to the point they RAN OUT OF CHICKEN).
I like have the judge cooking along with the contestants. Claudio is pretty cute too.

Most of David’s components were very well made, for example the sandwiches, and I think the judges probably took into account their previous victories. This way, I think David deserved it more than Jennifer.
David was way more impressive than jennifer in previous challenges,and the best,so they definitely didnt want him to leave even though he messed up as much as her I think

What they do with the remaining food?I hope they don't waste it. Because are people in need who don't have what to eat. I hope they donate the food.
The cast and crew eat them once filming ends. If MasterChef Canada's backstage work is the same as Australia's, the contestants and judges take a break and the food is put into fridges to prevent spoilage.
After the judging segment, the dishes are eaten by everyone.
