Congratulations! I tried to do drones as a safety feature for law enforcement and fire departments. But they just didn't feel that they would work well enough. Biggest issue of drones are battery life. If police are in a foot chase or trying to find a lost child, senior or checking out and area that maybe a set up or have a section fire is not aware of would help alot. IR cameras really help. Police when looking for armed suspects and fire for their people possibility becoming surrounded by fire. Look at California. Specially made and designed drones help find lost teams and give them a view of easiest ways to help them, help themselves. Lost kids if equipped with a PA on it. Can hear their rescue teams with their parents talking to them through drones. Know its ok to go to strangers. Japan has started using drones equipped with emergency cardiac shocking ability. As well as how to do and emergency chest tube placement. A bag with medical meds for overdoses. Or someone teams can not reach with medicines in a pouch as well as small water pouches and food bars. + emergency blanketing. But battery's for them are still and issue. Maximum amount of time 45mins to 1hr. Ones equipped with solar power to help in flight as well as battery charging are not yet in the US. Keep up the good work my friend.

So inspiring, this has success story written all over it. I'm surprised they were seeking venture capital funding so soon. It seems they're scaling relatively well and there's a high demand for their products. If I were in their position, I'd be inclined to remain independent to retain full control over the company vision while reinvesting the profits into research / development and manufacturing to deal with the inevitable rise in orders. I'd also focus on approaching independent tech reviewers on UA-cam to provide a critique and create awareness for the product in exchange for affiliate recognition. However I appreciate that if they're looking to compete globally, it doesn't hurt to be a household name - and venture capital can fast track that I guess. Sounds like they might be gearing up to sell the company, which I'm sure will be profitable.
I think that he rolled the dice on VC because there is lots of noise about diversity from these sources. I sure hope he doesn't get discouraged if nothing comes of it because VC's are a huge waste of time even for "successful" cap raises. Ask successful serial entrepreneurs and they are still around 80 no to 1 yes ratio. The other challenge is drones are 'so 5 years ago'. I don't think any VC will fund a drone maker this year. To elaborate on your funding comment, this company is beautiful for crowd funding -both product and equity. VCs see drones and assume he will be crushed by DJI, but people are sick of cookie cutter products with crap online "support" and no accountability.
@@skyak4493 interesting perspective, crowd funding could be a great way of incentivising patrons without giving heavy portions of the company profits away. What does DJI stand for?

@@octyedesign8408 This is why Bill Gates missed the mobile phones market. He didn't believe that folks would wanna surf the web on their palm. You are just like Bill Gates.
abracadabruh The common person dont care about drones, it's a toy. Maybe I could see it being a fun birthday present but for $650 dollars it can't be. Drones and RC helicopters a have existed for decades. He's not doing anything different he's just making his own brand. You're acting like this is a new market, it's old news.
k odu If DJI, a multi billion dollar company with years in the industry realized that the biggest use case for commercial drones are in filmmaking there probably isn't a larger market. Most people would think drones are cool novelty but not worth the $650 dollar entry price tag.
Love his confidence and tenacity, really rooting for him to succeed!
A drone company. That’s super cool 😎
Now this is what I call News. This is awesome keep up the great work.
this guy is literally using the cheapest radio and goggles on the market... and that drone he flew looked ancient from 2016
Yep
Excactly what i was thinking lmao..
Am a medical student and i also build drones .. it’s not rocket science and everyone can assembly one.
The issue with some people is they think that building drones requires deep knowledge about electricity fundamentals.. or mechanical
Nah all that isn’t nearly required.. all u need is basic knowledge of volta amps and ohms..
then just assemble 👍🏼.. cool hobby just don’t be intimidated by all that “drone tech startup theme..”
I really liked this dude. Hope it all goes well for them!
its fake
It's a scam. Drone with really bad components from a few years ago sold for a premium price
Inspiring. This young man is on his way up. I love it
Happy for you guys. Keep pushing and BIG success will surely come👍🏾
Congrats, you're ahead of the game.
Absolutely fricken not. A 200$ iflight nazgul is 100 times better
This is so cool! Good luck guys
Be wise. Don't give a way your company.
The wise thing to do would be to cash out imo, he's selling a prehistoric product compared to his competition, at a price over double. Amazing how much success he's had, goes to show how powerful being marketing savvy can be :)) If I were him, growing a little bit more to attract a cash out opportunity would be very attractive, and use that cash to build a more involved company.
Rooting for you!!! We need more black founders
we need more stories like this and i’d rather support a business like this then some egotistic sport star or low life rapper ✌🏼
Wish you every success, brother. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾#WeLoveToSeeIt
I'm buying each product this company creates. I am new to entering the fpv community and I have found my manufacturer
It's a lot more fun to build ur own
I dont reccomend You to buy expensive old stuff from this company- everyone in FPV hobby will tell You this.
Please don’t. The tech is at least 4/5 years old. Stop making these people famous that aren’t doing anything for the drone community but making us look bad. IF you really want to support great innovative companies, seek out Team Blacksheep,, quad standard labs etc
@@funKdatFPV get them to reach out to you and start your business back up ;) You'll do much better than them once the customers realize how old the tech is.
@@high008rise I never had a business. I am retired and use FPV to battle PTSD.
Great work! Congratulations... Keep going...
Wow I love yo concept, keep up the hustle man
What is proprietary about this? I build and fly fpv drones and nobody who is serious in the hobby buys premade drones.
The market is definitely there. Newcomers and institutions need these. My university builds such drones but they also buy a lot of premade ones for training and general use by other students. Plus I won't be shocked to see UA-camrs buying these, slapping a GoPro and making wicked footage then kids will buy from their affiliate links etc.
@@shimeih2287 these drones are from 2017. It's 2020. New tech. Shop elsewhere
@@FPVPRINTS they are from 2015 for the most part, but for newcomer with new BF4.2 it might not make much difference, especially on 3s :)
I started in 2017, this stuff is before me lol
If it's a good BNF, not like this one, why not?
Don't get caught up on bias. You've already done so much and I'm sure your company will succeed well into the future. Great job! 👍
go ahead people and buy expensive prehistoric parts from this company :D - anyone from FPV hobby will laugh at this.
Exactly lol
It's cool and all I suppose, but I agree. This "$400" Quad I wouldn't pay $80 for. No offense, if it gets someone into the hobby, it's great, but this just... Isn't worth $400
Dude is taking a $14 ZMR Clone, some out of date emax red bottoms, worth about $40, and toy goggles and transmitter and charging over $500. Rip off!!
Indeed haha.. that transmitter thoo yuck i think it’s the flysky 2.4G fs i6s trash transmitter and cost 40$ with the rx 😂
Since you know this how come you are not doing this you little hater 🤣🤣
@@dailson4317 not a hate but this dude got confused between manufacturing drones and soldering two wires for recreation purposes, my self in this hobby for nearly two years... i know what this guy is using parts wise and i can assure u that this comment is legit. It’s a rip off

Dwight and his visionary team seen here are incredibly brilliant. We know that we have always been bright inventors and great businessmen. I know that Dwight is on his way to becoming a billionaire.
Your channel definitely deserves my subs!
Great to see a young tech founder doing his thing. I wonder if they've considered crowd funding to raise capital. They would probably be able to get better terms than with a VC.
Funny part or sad . new emergency management team came in and had drones the county and local towns starting using for alot of what I talked about.
I triedto do this long before drones were known only as toys. Not a serious piece of safety equipment for anything.
what an amazing young man
Awesome company and even more dope founder. This company is going places. Seen this company grow and the growth is REAL!
Hard work 😓 and determination pays off
They should market to the DoD or DHS. They’d get all the money they’d need if they get their foot in the door and with the right guidance.
DoD already uses FPV drones.
They use them all the time. Usually through drones for special forces and other departments

Kid will be out of business in 5 years. Watch, I’ve been flying FPV for the last 5 years and have NEVER heard of this company. I looked at his site and it has generic tiny whoops and a 5” with crap budget China goggles.
These profit and value numbers are stupid inflated, because the top companies that dominate the market hardly pulled those profits and have 30x the product movement. Typical half story journalism lol
Its old tech at ridiculous price. He'll be done in less than a year prob

My name is Abubakar Musa popularly know as Mushcreative I'm a talented person which I always loved working on technology thing's and creativity things.. I runs my own small company called (Mush Creative) which includes : in making powerbanks, solar lamps, electronics stuff, Drones making, technology Innovations and many different devices etc.......
@@ThisisDaniel Drones were a hot tech investment years ago. There has been consolidation and a company named DJI is the king of high volume high tech drones (www.dji.com/). Go Pro, Sony...pretty much everyone outside China has given up on consumer drones. Development in the US is internal to large companies for their own use like Amazon...

So you figured out the secret of the bigger company’s and dipped your hands right in. Shady, but it’s the fpv world. It’s cut throat and it’s sad to see such a cool experience exploited.
It truly is what kills the industry
Yep seems like a nice guy but they are obviously preying on people with a lack of fpv knowledge and selling them a bad product (in today’s fpv standard) for way more than it’s worth. I can’t believe people are falling for it. Maybe when they get off the ground they will have the budget to put together better stuff at a better price point. At the moment I feel the pain of anyone that buys one of their products and is let down. They for sure can turn it around though if they are concerned about the long term.
Good luck bro ❤️❤️❤️
Absolute disgrace for the fpv world, he should be ashamed of himself. Hope no one will fall into the lies and is buying his crap.
More power to you Brother👏👏👏👏👏
I don't get it. What is the additional value they add to the product? I don't think that a small company like this has any chance against big Chinese players pumping out millions of drones per year. Also, they have sell drones worth millions to make any decent profit and keep the company alive.
