@@MTBTravelReview Is the trail well marked? I go fishing at Crescent often and see riders start riding right from the parking lot up the hill. I see in your video, you head out the parking lot and go down the road a bit and hop the barrier. I never knew the trail started over there. Now, this has given me a new goal...can't wait to ride Crescent :)
Grew up 2 miles from there and never knew how dope that place is. Always rode on the other side of the reservoir, which was lame... too bad its currently shut down. I'm dieing to try it!
Nepaug is awesome! Only problem is the one time I went I basically spent most of my trying to figure out where to go. Lol. Ended up riding a logging road back out to my car at the end of the day. Def need someone to show you the ways.
Nice vid, I want to check this trail out. Can you're video editor export in 4k, if you're using FCPX just start a 4k project, and it will adjust your 1080 footage to scale, this will make it look nice and crispy on youtube, it's just a trick to get the better compression algorithm! Nice riding too.
MikeRides MTB thanks man and appreciate the advice. My issue with 4K is not final cut, but Gopros new H.265 format which my computer cannot read. Therefore, I have to go through each file and use a converter. I don’t have a ton of editing time to begin with, so that makes it even worse.
@@MTBTravelReview You can set the Hero7 to prefer H.264, and in 4k@30fps it will support it, I think 60 requires 265, but 4k 60 doesn't stabilize anyway. I use 2.7K at 30 or 60 depending on what I'm recording, and I get all H.264 files. I'd have to google exactly where the setting is, but I remember setting it to H.264 + H.265.
MikeRides MTB interesting... I currently run 2.7k at 30 as well. So, if I start a 4K project and use my current 2.7k settings I will get a better end result when exporting?
Out of all the places in the new england area you have visited, what would be your top 3 places to live based on best riding, vibes, and friendliest people? please help me decide, if anyone reading this has input feel free as well to comment. Thanks
Brett Butler there are so many factors to that question that I couldn’t possible answer it for you. Haha. BUT, Burlington area is one of the raddest in the country and the riding around there is unreal. IMO
Nice edit. Those trails look super fun.
Wow these trails look absolutely amazing. Can't wait to try them out. Great riding!
They are fun and thanks!
Just adding to the list of new trails I need to ride in my home state. Looked pretty gnarly! Great channel btw!
It’s a dope spot and thanks man!
I keep saying I’m gonna go there but end going to Rockland every time, looks pretty good!
chris m IMO, It blows Rockland out the water if you like tech, and features. Place is beautiful and a ton to explore. Rock land is more XC oriented.
Epic video that really showcases what this place has to offer. Very nice!
CashedOutCars thanks man! Place is rad! 🙏🏼
I live a few miles from Crescent. I never knew the trails were like that ! I need to start riding Crescent. Thanks for the video.
Andre Voz that’s why i make the videos! Place is well worth a visit man.

I want to get into mountain biking and I live in CT so thanks for this. Would you consider this trail ok for a beginner?
Wow Seb most of the trials, yes. Just ride at your ability!
a shame most those features don't exist anymore, place has changed a lot in the past 4 years. My favorite place to ride
So I’ve heard. A story all too often told about such great places…
Ever try riding in Nepaug? I could show you around sometime
Dan Brown I have not! What kind of trails are we talking?

Scott King haha yea, it gets confusing fast! There is stuff hidden everywhere

Are the jump trails hard to find?
Most of the jump lines are right up the trail from the lot. Easy to get to. Some others featured in the video are deep on the back side.
where was that big step up to drop or what trail is it on
No idea... been a while
Your youtube lives! :)
Slow and steady! haha. Having too much fun this summer to make videos!
