I liked the video! Very detailed with things to thing to consider with explanation. which I needed being it's going to be a first time (and only time installation) shower pan installation for me.

You may consider a mortar bed instead of mortar clumps. The fiberglass will flex if not completely supported and may crack and leak.
This is a good comment. I'm sure the pros do a full mortar bed. That was a concern of mine for sure. But so far so good after 1.5 years!
