In either case, no amount of self-loathing and ruminating about it can really change it or bring back that lost innocence. 48 years young here. Have been to so many shows... ! Saw sleep token in 2023 in Denver Colorado.... Most incredible display of emotion and artistic expression... Along with the fan base that showed so much respect and passion for their music. I can honestly say the best live show I've ever been to in my life. Bought tickets late 2023 for Red rocks Denver and found out they're coming to my hometown of Albuquerque New Mexico May 1st bought tickets there too.. ! 3 times in one year.... And I can honestly say they have surpassed all my expectations of what a band should be in my eyes. They are without a doubt after 2 years of listening.... As I also discovered they're older stuff... The most intelligent incredible band that I have ever come across 🙏🏾

You should check out TOOL/APC/Puscifer- Maynard James Keeenan has an equally, if not MORE, delicious voice, and the lyrics won't disappoint you either- I haven't found a band that has made me FEEL as much as any of Maynard's stuff- Vessel' s voice is ~almost~ equally yummy. Listen to the Salival version of "Pushit". Shivers...

Hey I can relate on another level. My little brother killed himself a few months ago and I'm still emotionally and psychologically wounded. Everyday, I feel like this world is foreign and I have a very long way to go to even get near a new normal. so apparently Vessel (the vocalist) is actually the one who basically creates the songs from the ground up. he writes the lyrics, sings, does all of the music himself I believe apart from drums. and then the band is basically just there for the live performances, which is just insane and makes this dude even more impressive. one of a kind for sure

Hang in there. I’ve attempted twice and somehow survived. One was pills, the other was hitting a tree going +90mph. The police were in disbelief that I walked away with only a bruise on my upper leg from hitting the steering wheel. The other two, my wife walked in on me with a loaded gun to my head and pleaded with me to stop. If she wasn’t there I know I would’ve done it. The second one with a gun, it took me 40 minutes to break the gun lock. By then, I was in my wise mind. But I still put the loaded gun into my mouth. Just couldn’t bring myself to pull the trigger. We are here for a purpose, I truly believe it. Hang in there. When the evil thoughts intrude, stay away from alcohol and the “way” you’ve conjured up in your mind. I no longer have a fire arm in my house because I know that’s how I would do it if times seem impossible to overcome. I’m rooting for you! Hang in there and stay strong. You’ve got this. I’ve been having a very difficult time finding happiness lately due to a lot of personal stuff I’m going through, battling with a narcissistic parent that refuses to accept me. I’ve became so hopeless and depressed due to her constant negativity and abuse.. I wish I could escape her, but I’m stuck in a constant cycle of abuse and a trauma bond with her and I’m disabled so it’s almost impossible to survive without her.. I wish I could get my financial independence back, but social security has denied my disability claims and I’ve been unable to work for over 2 years after a significant spine injury and 1 failed operation.. I was told I might need a second surgery and I’ve been told that without it, I could end up paralyzed.. Sleep Token has been the only music group that can connect with me spiritually, even though I’m so broken and drained.. Thank you for making such beautifully breathtaking art pieces that satisfy my ears, and make the self harm thoughts go away, if only for a moment.. From the bottom of my heart and soul, Thank You.. ❤
I have been such a long tool, pucifer, but mostly " A perfect Circle" fan. But, as a diagnosed depressive mother/woman, I have always depended on bands such as"Sleep token" and " Perfect Circle" to express my anxiety and hatred, love. Thank you my daughter Allegra Love for turning me on to this new band!! my beautiful daughter knows that depression and anxiety never go away but the love of music expresses my angst and expresses what I can never do myself. Sleep Token is just an updated version and I absolutely love them!!! It continues, and always shall until I die. But, your melodies will hold me forever!!

Ever since I found Sleep Token, I showed my emotions. I found peave in my heart. I am dealing with depression for 5 years so far and it hasn't gone away due to stressful situations that has been happening and my mind couldn't proccess it properly as ordinary person but thank you Sleep Token for letting me show my emotions through emotions. I appreciate it a lot. I sing this song every time with all my lungs and I have inside me. It makes me feel relieved afterwards.
Right before the end of the song, in parentheses, are the first lyrics of "Chokehold", whispered in the gaps of the actual lyrics. I find that detail amazing. Very well-thought!

I like Sleep Token, they are someway covering the void left by Linkin Park (the fact of merging different music styles together). However I noticed that their songs are actually made by consecutive parts with a different genre, rather than a homogeneous mix of different styles. That would give you a huge added value and I think you have the skill to do it.
They are very deliberate in doing that. They want to tell a story and surprise. If you listen back in their discography you can see how TMBTE is the record on which they are doing this the most. In many songs on Sundowning and TPWBYT they have much more homogeneous tracks - apart from their metal drops at the end. I wouldn't even call that having consecutive parts with different genres, these songs just had a built-up.

For me it's a reignited passion, a long burning fire refueled by maturity and a long string of pain, with forgiveness and desire. Pain, loss, surrender, longing and the will to bring it back and keep it, fight for it.

I’ve been having a very difficult time finding happiness lately due to a lot of personal stuff I’m going through, battling with a narcissistic parent that refuses to accept me.
I’ve became so hopeless and depressed due to her constant negativity and abuse..
I wish I could escape her, but I’m stuck in a constant cycle of abuse and a trauma bond with her and I’m disabled so it’s almost impossible to survive without her..
I wish I could get my financial independence back, but social security has denied my disability claims and I’ve been unable to work for over 2 years after a significant spine injury and 1 failed operation..
I was told I might need a second surgery and I’ve been told that without it, I could end up paralyzed..
Sleep Token has been the only music group that can connect with me spiritually, even though I’m so broken and drained..
Thank you for making such beautifully breathtaking art pieces that satisfy my ears, and make the self harm thoughts go away, if only for a moment..

I have been such a long tool, pucifer, but mostly " A perfect Circle" fan. But, as a diagnosed depressive mother/woman, I have always depended on bands such as"Sleep token" and " Perfect Circle" to express my anxiety and hatred, love.
Thank you my daughter Allegra Love for turning me on to this new band!! my beautiful daughter knows that depression and anxiety never go away but the love of music expresses my angst and expresses what I can never do myself. Sleep Token is just an updated version and I absolutely love them!!! It continues, and always shall until I die. But, your melodies will hold me forever!!

Ever since I found Sleep Token, I showed my emotions. I found peave in my heart. I am dealing with depression for 5 years so far and it hasn't gone away due to stressful situations that has been happening and my mind couldn't proccess it properly as ordinary person but thank you Sleep Token for letting me show my emotions through emotions. I appreciate it a lot. I sing this song every time with all my lungs and I have inside me. It makes me feel relieved afterwards.

And down the sleep token rabbit hole I go. I have bipolar depression it feels like the music is telling my story. If you haven't been on the lowest of lows like I have been lately you will get some comfort in their music and that I love. Vessel speaks to the soul.

I like Sleep Token, they are someway covering the void left by Linkin Park (the fact of merging different music styles together). However I noticed that their songs are actually made by consecutive parts with a different genre, rather than a homogeneous mix of different styles. That would give you a huge added value and I think you have the skill to do it.
They are very deliberate in doing that. They want to tell a story and surprise. If you listen back in their discography you can see how TMBTE is the record on which they are doing this the most. In many songs on Sundowning and TPWBYT they have much more homogeneous tracks - apart from their metal drops at the end. I wouldn't even call that having consecutive parts with different genres, these songs just had a built-up.
