I discovered Frank Cho’s work, Liberty Meadows in a college town comic shop I moved to for a brief time. Been a fan ever since but haven’t seen his work lately. I remember his later trade collections talking about his work being censored. It’s amazing that Americans are more afraid of beautiful nudity than outright bloody violence.
Maybe he should try to get hired by DC so he can make some black label comics. From what I understand they're supposed to be more adult oriented and have less censorship. I guess it might be a good idea to wait and see if DC's black label comics are a long term thing. Also, the sketch he did for the Conan comic was pretty cool.
He currently does B covers for Harley Quinn series. So moving over to Black Label could be a possibility. I really liked his Wonder Woman cover Adam referenced above too
1st off this interview is amazing Mike 2nd to hell with censorship.and Frank The 80s Rocked great insight into his process for writing and drawing
