    My HW50S shoots the H&N 8.64 grain / 4.51mm head size one hole groups at that short distance. It should hold 1/4” CTC group out to 35 yards. I have several springers and PCP Airguns, and compete with almost all of them. The gentleman that was mentioning your gun placement on the bag and changing your POI is correct. The HW50S is more powerful. I love my TX 200 MKII in walnut and beech , HW97 in .20 caliber, my old Beeman R1 Magnum, and I just got my replacement Crossman 6500 Challenger made by Anschutz. Nice video. Try some other pellets. I don’t use any flat head pellets.

    Yes you can find H&N ftt can produce a wider grouping out of some rifles, being the pellet can be a bit tight in the rifling .
    Nice video.

    Try a kit from Tin Bum Tuning. The spring guide fits much better than the stock guide. The TBT guide fits very snugly inside the spring which eliminates the spring buzz. Also comes with a very useful tophat for the front of the spring. Kit also comes with a good quality moly, I mixed some tungsten disulfide dry lubricant with the moly to make it a bit slicker and longer lasting. Did both my Beeman limited edition R9 & my R11 with this kit. Huge difference! I also removed about 4 coils from each spring and re dressed the ends. Both were great shooting guns before the tune, now they can drive tacks from a bench rest.

    Nice air rifles, it think the HW50 fresh spring has more power and therefore a little less stability.

    At 10 meters your grouping can be made tighter by paying more attention to consistency. Just re watch the video and look at your gun placement on the bag and how that affects the vertical spacing of your group and when you get the gun in the same position the groups tighten.
    Have fun now 👍

    Feinwerkbau has a Much Finer true match grade barrel. It cost less to Suss the FWB trigger than to put a match quality barrel on the Weihrauch. Most people would never notice the difference. But the FWB just has more history and Class. 😀
    RE: Few Thousandths... Machine rested the difference avgs. .03 difference c-t-c so apparently that works out right on the money.

    Hi Nibs. Another great comparison video. I have a couple of Weihrauch air guns. Was wondering if your rear sites match up with your front globe irons. Both of mine factory globe fronts. What rear sites are you using. Thanks for the video. Signed up with your facebook account.

    Congratulations my friend! The carbines were beautiful. I tried to use the R15 scope on my carbines, but the scope was not interesting for accuracy.

    The HW95, which is closer in weight to the FWB 124, will cock with a pinky when tuned down to the power level of the FWB 124. And the firing cycle is probably much smoother when tuned down compared to its factory power level. HW is known for being careless with lubing their guns, so a strip down and relube would definitely protect the gun better and may smooth the firing cycle. Krytox is considered better than moly, but Krytox is very expensive.

    I dont want to say too much about my next video but lets just say In a Crosman detuned rifle I got the Rws hobby 7.0gr to go 150 to 450+ fps slower than a premier pointed 7.4gr
    I like Rws quality but I am not sure they will ever get shot out of my crosman's again after seing this 🤔
    Thoses guns seemed to like them tho!
    My Gamo's really like Rws pellets

    • @Beesa10
      @Beesa10 2 роки тому +2

      That's an interesting result, my guess is the pellet diameter, skirt design and/or hardness will have a more noticeable effect on performance in a detuned rifle. RWS Hobby are a 'go to' lightweight pellet for testing low/medium power spring rifles and decent quality for the price, it seems strange they are going that much slower.

    • @LowkeyAirgunner
      @LowkeyAirgunner 2 роки тому +1

      @@Beesa10 forgot to say, this is tool seated or they wont even come out!
      But I just noticed I messed up it was 50fps slower (average of ~408 fps seated)
      Or 0 fps not seated (jam)
      I barely get any spread but my crosmans are not liking harder/bigger skirt pellets!

    • @Beesa10
      @Beesa10 2 роки тому +2

      @@LowkeyAirgunner That makes sense, might be worth trying JSB pellets which are softer, eg Jumbo Express/Jumbo RS, I think JSB Match pellets are available in different weights and diameters if you can find them.

    • @LowkeyAirgunner
      @LowkeyAirgunner 2 роки тому +2

      @@Beesa10 had great results with Jsb express and RS yet accuracy wise! (.177)
      But I did not waste any in the chronograph yet $$$ 😁
      Expensive but great pellets!
      If I had to shoot only type of pellet for the rest of my life with all my airguns it would be one of them!

    • @Beesa10
      @Beesa10 2 роки тому +2

      @@LowkeyAirgunner That is the drawback (I justify the cost by comparing with shotgun cartridges). I bought 1250 Crosman Premier 7.9gr some years ago which worked out pretty good value, quality dome pellets which came in a cardboard box, not as soft as JSB but consistent, good accuracy potential for spring rifles depending on the gun (and the shooter!)
