Hi Gert. Thanks for watching. Do you mean the Elvis Presley song Crawfish from King Creole or is there another song out there by someone else you are referring to?
Great suggestion. I haven't done a tutorial in awhile, been taking a little break, but I think that would be a great song to add to the video collection.
Hi Melissa, I didn’t know this one, an inspired choice though. It’s great! 👍 Problem: how to deal with that ‘her perfume’ line. 🤨 . Many thanks for this🎶😍🌷
Yes, but if you want to use any gain staging like overdrive, fuzz etc you are better off searching for a solid body electric. Reverb, chorus, delay and other effects typically used down the pedal chain will sound good though. But if you have a built-in pick up in your amp and pedals, I say give it a shot and see what works. I play Joyner electric body ukuleles with my band, The Margaret Hooligans. But Risa and Flight offer them as well.
@@UkuleleWonderlandwithMelissa I love this song.. I want to perform it but I can't work out how to play it.. and there isn't a tutorial that I can find .. I would appreciate it so much if someone could show me how.. it means a lot to me

@@gertgasperin1722 I will give it a shot - it looks fairly simple chord wise. :)
@@UkuleleWonderlandwithMelissa yes, two chords only :-)
I'm smitten! Great stuff.
Thank you!
Would you be able to do Crying, laughing living Lying. I think the strumming might be the most challenging bit.
Love your voice!

Hi Melissa, I’ve just come back to have a go at ‘Cry to Me’, - I’m a bit behind schedule🤪🌷
As long as you're still playing. :)
@@UkuleleWonderlandwithMelissa I’m actually playing along with you on my baritone this time- good for my brain🎶🤪🌷

I know, I wanted to convert it so it flipped the gender for me, but couldn't think of a good substitute.
Silly me! Her perfume is right for a woman to sing (Betty Harris). Tom Jones says ‘your perfume’🌷
Is there a Way to put the Ukelele under Power and create Sounds like on a E-Guitar for Example with an VOX/Orange amp?

I would like to learn how to play dancing queen,if it's playable?
I will see what I can do. :)
You’ll easily find a ukulele tutorial for ‘Dancing Queen’, on YT. The great thing about Melissa is that she goes ‘off the beaten track’🎶👍🌷
Stood up by James Reyne
Is that a song request?
