I am sure you will Theo. I basically started my collection over again but instead of having to spend money I sold cards 😃. I am just so stoked to have found podcasts so I could make this adjustment in my collection because Im telling you looking through my binders blows my mind how much better it looks now. They look like how the original topps designers / artists wanted them to look so stoked. Plus my wife approves now that they look better to her eye since she shares the office with me 😘😜. 🤙🏻🤙🏻
You certainly have the right idea about those vintage cards they are beautiful centering is king great video thanks for sharing yea those kelloges cards are awesome in the original wrappers
Thank you David and ya Centering is King right kinda obvious once you really think about how the original designer at topps wanted them to look like to begin with 😀🤙🏻🤙🏻
No way thats awesome. Really funny story now with that card. What would have been even better is if I did end opening it on camera ha ha ha. Thank you for coming by and for the epic card 💪🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
My first vintage card, that I picked up as a ten-year-old, was a 1959 Topps Sandy Koufax. Bright yellow. Smiling HOFer. That card made me feel like a grown-up collector. When I started collecting again about five years ago, I decided to put the entire 1959 set together. I'm so glad I did, because I couldn't afford to do so today.
Carlyle thats awesome my buddy Josh who i mentioned in this video always told me to him sandy koufax cards were his favorites and his number one is the 59’ topps. Congrats on completing that set 🥳🤯🤙🏻
Glad you’re feeling better. Traveling gets you sick. So many people travel now and pass around their germs. Crazy how you see what other people do with their collections on UA-cam and how each of us take something from it. Can’t believe you’re into the modern cards a bit. 😂
I cant believe I am in the modern game myself ha ha. I really am loving it though. I mean its so freaking easy to collect and buy modern cards its nothing like trying to hunt down a good looking 55' Jackie Wink Wink
Hey Dylan! Glad to hear you’re feeling better. Another whirlwind of goodness in this video. I enjoyed seeing some of your well loved cards. The 60 Eddie All Star is an awesome keepsake from your childhood. I had to do a double take when I saw that Gretzky. 😆 You showed some beautiful vintage cards. I am a big fan of the 60 Topps Aaron too. You know I am you brother in 62 Topps. I just put up a display in one of 36 card cases with all 62 Topps. It looks awesome! One of my favorite displays I have put up. Those are some beautiful autographed cards. That Banks is awesome. I am glad you are happy with the direction of your collection. That is what is all about. Keep up the great content. 🤙 🤙
HI Terry, Man I woke up so fired up to talk cards since I felt good and so long since I did a solo video just talking no interruption's cuz you know I like to talk ha ha ha. Dude I went big into hockey cards for 2 or 3 years I mean big meaning thats all I purchased no baseball packs at that time. Later in life I became friends with Paul Kariya the player for the ducks he would surf with me everyday at my home break back in CA. For years there I met so manny Kings and Ducks players that he would bring to surf with us. Maybe one day I will share that. Nicest guy in the world. I would always ask him what it was like to play in front of so many people. Maybe one day I will venture into the vintage hockey card world especially since watching your channel there are some incredible looking topps designs that I wish were of baseball players. I just know the second I go down a rabbit hole I go way to big like with the trout thing I just keep buying more and more ha ha ha ha ha. So I have to limit myself LOL. Man I really hope to see your 62 Display . I will have to go to your channel this week and catch up on anything I may have missed. I always need my display and design fix from you :) . I hope you have an epic weekend my friend.
Eddie Mathews card is great. My childhood cards are vintage by default, but I remember buying cards from friend that were earlier. I remember buying a shoebox of cards from a friend for $2.42. Cards from 1957-1960's. Bell Brand and Morrell Meat cards in the box. Another friend I bought a 1957 Duke Snider and 1959 Stan Musial. Had his cards stored in a cut-out bleach jug. Still love the Carew rookie. I found the 1991 UD Killebrew out of 3000 at a show this weekend.
Right !!! I would love to see products like the old donruss and ud with crazy random chase cards. I could care less how much they print the other cards. Keeps them cheap for collectors and kids and still a chance to pull something crazy
Love that Big Red machine card. I believe that artwork is by Vernon Wells Sr, who did those 90s UD art cards. His son is the former player. I know you shouted out LuRok, but I’ll take those Kellogg’s Sportflix if he doesn’t. I love those wonky cards. Just got a sweet Larry Doby Denny’s one. 🤙
Hi Jason, Ya you know I heard that somewhere about Vernon wells before so freaking cool. Ya lou was stoked so there heading his way sorry dude. Love the old Dennys holograms
The way I feel about VR's is that it is a video I can make without spending a dime. I have got stupid this year spending a little too much but usually I enjoy digging my old cards out. I have a few I need to do still this week.
You always bring that 🔥Dylan! Loved every minute of it and I’m like you, if I pulled those UD Heroes autos or Score auto of Yaz or Musial I’d have 💩 myself! Glad you’re feeling better, thanks for the show
Great VR responses Dylan. Absolutely love the 60 Mathew's Allstar card, glad you held on to it. There are a number of cards I own that are beat up but have such a sentimental meaning to me that I will never get rid of them. Love the Koufax and Rose cards man they are sweet looking! Question for you I now you told us once in an earlier video but what size binder and sleeves do you use for your graded books, I think that is a really cool way to store and be able to enjoy your cards. Awesome stuff Dylan thanks for sharing, your collection is so sweet!
Glad you enjoyed seeing and hearing about all those cards. The binder sleeves are Ultra Pro 4 Sleeves. 3.5 X 5.25 . The binder is 3" . I also store them in Uline 200lb Test Boxes witch keep them bullet proof and dust free ha ha. Hope that helps I go more into detail on that old video for sure. :)
Oh man since I have been sick and on vacation I am lagging on doing the 90's but it is coming and going to be freaking epic. I have some guys lined up for it and its going to be a great one. Eggman is all time.
Love this, Dylan! So much awesomeness, I don’t where to begin. I have been eying a nice Betts. I’ve been looking for red foil RC. I think I have to wait until next off season and hope prices go down. And that 1960 Hank. Very sentimental card for me. I have also always wanted a sadaharu oh and just haven’t known where to begin. That might be inspiration for me. Amazing auto cards!!! Great stuff! 🤙🤙
Hey Doug thanks dude. Ya I forgot you have that thing like me for 1960 hank 😍. Its always good if I can spend my friends money I mean inspire my friends to look for cards 🤣🤣😉🤙🏻
Dylan, soooo much to say, but thanks for doing a VR not only for me, but for all of these great channels. Especially while sick! 👊♥️ Oh man, those Gold Trouts! 10s?! 🔥 You know I love that Mookie Betts RC, so awesome. That ‘60 Aaron is super clean, phew! 🤩🤩 That Bench/Morgan is insanity though, I had not seen that, congrats on that beauty. WOW! Oh man, UD Fun Packs!!! I love those for the same reason I love Topps Kids, such a great choice. Man, I kinda want to go get a box of those now haha. You are officially entered, thanks Dylan! P.S. The fact that you have “old flips” and “new flips” within your own personal grading system is so awesome 🤣🤙🤙
Dude i inspired myself to buy a box ha ha ha ha. Ya my old flips are really bad hand cut most of them I have re done but I kept a few for memory’s sake 😉. Such a fun VR to do. Thank you
This was a great combo video of VRs. Always great cards and it’s cool watching your collecting journey unfold. Stay awesome my friend. I’ve got you down.
Bro I haven't seen your videos for a while. I don't know what happened. I thought I was subscribed and wasn't. For the life of me I couldn't remember the name of your channel. I'm the fellow surfing collector from Bama. Glad I found you again. Now I have to catch up on the videos!
Awesome!! Quick Question Dylan… about the binder on your right my view. The one that holds PSA & SGC Slabs. Who sells that. I’ve seen PSA holders but your binder holds both. Who sells that
Hi Billy, i made a video about where i got my binders and pages a while back you should check it out for sure. I use ultra pro 5.25” the 4 sleeves . The sgc are a snug fit and psa are loose. I than put the binders in 200lb perfect fitting boxes i ordered from uline really epic way to keep the cards. And really safe and dust free as well 🤙🏻
Glad your over the cold. Fantastic cards to showcase Dylan. Most of us don’t go for the prizes when doing VR’s but it doesn’t hurt to win.
Thank you Nate ya free cards I wont complain 😛🤙🏻🤙🏻
Really enjoyed this Dylan! I hope I’m 20 years, I have a vintage collection like you! Love those autographs, the bench/Morgan is soooo sick!!!

Scott, I have that Harmon UD auto and forgot to show it. Thats a sicko find. Man I bet those boxes you bought were ridiculously fun to go through.
I'm getting over a bit of a head cold myself so I know exactly what you mean.
Nice responses. A lot of cool cards shown.
Man I re lapsed on my sickness so bummed. Thank you Victor for watching 😁🤙🏻🤙🏻
Best part is you can still buy cheap upper deck boxes and pull one. It is rare, but the thrill of the chase. Love Bench's signature. Very nice 🇺🇲⚾️✌🏽
Right !!! I would love to see products like the old donruss and ud with crazy random chase cards. I could care less how much they print the other cards. Keeps them cheap for collectors and kids and still a chance to pull something crazy

Thank you John, loved your last podcast with DR beckett. Was laughing so hard when you heckled him about selling %1 ha ha ha

Dude no worries I figured it had ended just wanted to toss some support your way . Shaka Jack :)
Awesome Trout. Will you be getting the crew back for the best/worst sets of the 90's?. Eggman would be a blast on that! 🤣
