This looked like a really fun festival! The horse riding and jousting was so awesome to watch. They put so much effort into dressing the part too, especially the full suits of armor with the helmet plume. Great climbing too Brandon! Thank you for sharing this experience with us, Stephen!
I'm so glad you guys got to experience the joy of Renaissance Faires. I work at the Bristol Renaissance Faire in WI and have SO many stories. Also the thumbnail has me in stitches especially since I know exactly who that is 😂😂 Also also stilts guy has a fantastic show called Barely Balanced and if you have a chance to catch it next year you should
I live near the Bristol Ren Faire in Wisconsin (and someone in the comments here works there! Neat!) and have been a couple times in the past. The Fire Whip show was an absolute highlight, and I remember visiting a few smaller stalls and having great conversations with those vendors. I still have a piece of art from one with an original character of his (named Charlotte!) and, hilariously, a handmade map of the world of Dragonball Z. 😂 This vlog definitely reignited my desire to return next year. Glad you guys had a great time!
I had been to that Festival a good ten years ago and it was so much fun (I was still in middle school at the time unfortunately) glad you all had fun too. Wish I could have been there but work in Florida will never stop.
I go to the NY Ren Fair everyy year so its really fun to see the shows in other states! I wish the NY one went till November. Ends first week of October up here.
Ren fairs sound really fun! I almost got to go a year or two ago, but that never came to fruition. I still hung out with my friends though. Also that car alarm HAS to be a Memorable Moment 😆😆
i have not gone to a ren faire before but boy howdy would i love to go to one. Part of me also wants to make a funny costume to wear to one but i don't know much about costume making haha.
This was so much fun to watch! That’s the one thing I wanted to do this October while it was happening but we couldn’t go due to a busy schedule/budgeting :( So I’m living vicariously through you guys!! Thanks for sharing 😊
Ah when world's collide. I love Ren Faire's and I go to our local Iowa ones. No funny stories but regardless of that they are so fun. So happy to see you guys going to one.
I've gone to a Ren fair ONCE! In middle school and it wasn't the best mainly because it was raining and a school event so we didn't get to do a lot. However, that's as where I got a pretty neat Master Sword figurine with like a built in pedestal rock and a sword you can place in or out of the pedestal.
Such an beautiful day for it, too. I've never been to a Renaissance Fair, but I've never actively searched for it either. I'd love to attend as it looks so fun. Then again, I'd feel under dressed which is a shame because I'd love to play the part. Then again...again, I'm too lazy to bother with an outfit.
I said on the Breakfast Stream VOD for this that I thought Ren Faires were a really weirdly specifically American thing...then I realised I've just been to a Victorian Christmas market with people dressed up in period costume and doing music hall tunes, so apparently I'm a hypocrite :p
Ok, the jugglers who set off the car alarm were my favorite part of this vlog. Thank you for filming that.
Their faces too!
Their reactions were great XD They handled it very well
The kid yelling “HUZZAH!” at goblin children and boob ladies made me die 😂😂😂😂
Really nice to see Jingle Jepson in this vlog 😂

“So, in another world, that’s the kind of entertainer I am?”

I love the London Broil! I saw them at the AZ Ren Fair this year! Glad you got to see them too.
I love the Ren Faire, I went a week (the 19th) later to it for the very last day(its a must for me). My ex use to work there, she was a queen guard.
3:00 - ... I think I need to go to a Renaissance Fair...
I haven't been to one but I'd sure like to someday.
Omg now I need to go to a Ren Faire 😂❤ that looked like so much fun!

Hey, another Iowan here!
@@rnafeoI'm super late to this but I was rewatching and didn't see you responded. Do you go to the Faire's anywhere in Iowa?

The editing was so good

I went to the Tennessee Renaissance fair earlier this year, and it was a lot of fun, but I think yalls had more to do/see as opposed to just vendors.
Those floral crowns made me immediately think of Midsommar with Florence Pugh....a movie I could not bring myself to finish
Vlog Raid!
Also this Vlog makes me miss NC so much. 😞
i've been waking up at 4am for work i wish my schedule was 6am again. late jan it might go back to 6am retail in wintertime is rough
Im sorry but 11:57 what is she doing with the wagon in the background LOL
You don’t beat your wagons with sticks?
I was so distracted by that, I missed what Stephen was saying lmao
4:36 i didn't see the Batman cosplayer until Dan mentions it 🤣
What a fun day!

josh’s 40 horses on their way to serve him
I've never been to a renaissance festival, but I'd definitely go dressed as the Doctor if given the opportunity to do so.
"Brandon is so good at down"
Phrasing, sir.

VLOG RAID!
Hello to fellow morning people that wake up at 6am whether we want to or not
I honest to God thought from the thumbnail that Alex somehow got involved in the jousting tournament. The jouster looks a lot like him

Renaissance festivals are incredibly fun! In my opinion, the Ohio Renaissance Festival is better.

Brandon do the climb good! Hell yeah! That looks like it was a lot of fun. We don't really have those kinda things around here? Wish we did though. 😅🥲
