I think most people agree that wrestling is the best base….even Joe Rogan a bjj black belt would say that
What he said was more of an expression that applies to average people in real life….and especially average people 20 years ago back when no one trained. So it probably used to be true that a blue belt could work most anyone they crossed paths with
But it depends on what your goals are….bjj is practical. It can deter or stabilize most situations in real life
Meaning to say if mma is your goal then a wrestling base is best…..if youre a regular civilian wanting to handle business and defend yourself then bjj is perfect

Nate Diaz would be the number one fighter in the UFC if the
Rules were no time limits. He can go the distance and outlast everyone. Street fight rules,
    Nate would be a champion

This reminds me of me and my brothers. If one goes, we all going. It’s cool to see people like me, that look like me, get out the ghetto and accomplish great things. Almost made a mf shed a tear…but I’m too thugged out for that shit so here I am typing a comment😂 respect in the highest form. I’d follow the Diaz generals into battle any day🫡

If you didn't know who either of these guys were, you'd never believe that Nate could walk over and just end that body builder with ease. People that just lift weights have NO IDEA.
