As gangster/hard as Nate seriously is, I was lucky enough to randomly run into him at a grocery store. Dude, he was the nicest guy any fan could run into. Asking me questions and being grateful for us, his fan base. I couldn't be more of a fan after that interaction. Best of luck to both fighters.

Nate Diaz is a legend. Dude fought the toughest dudes in the UFC his whole career. Most guys just want easy fights to build their record and then take 1 or 2 elite level fights and then fade away. He is misunderstood and judged by lots of people for the way he talks and acts but bottom line, he is one of the best fighters to ever compete in the UFC and has always stayed the same since day one. Respect to him. Great interview.
That's why I like Izzy, he only fought the best and had so many fights in other organizations.

The literal meaning of the word fight is it’s gonna be rough . Using the word easy and fight simultaneously in same sentence doesn’t even make sense
This is one of, if not the only time in years I’ve seen an interview where it actually looks like Nate wanted to be there. He normally always looks totally uninterested and his engagement shows, but he legit looked like he was a participant here and not a hostage. Good job boys.

My uncle grew up in Stockton with Nate and his brother nick. From the stories he told me about them, this dude was an absolute savage from an early age. I had a chance to meet him a few times and this guy is as real as it gets. Fame will never make him forget his roots, that’s rare and should be applauded.💯🤜🥊

I agree. Age=knowledge I think is the case for him. Young Nate would’ve had a way different energy.
People mistake his anxiety for being punch drunk. He has a hard time speaking when he isn’t comfortable (can’t catch his breath to speak so starts coughing, pausing, etc.) but when he’s comfortable, he talks just like he always has
@@j23217 I have the same issue with anxiety especially when I'm not comfortable, unable to catch my breathe and stumble my words it can be a little embarrassing but Nate is real as it gets, he's street tough and means business. I hope he demolishes JP on the 5th August, the kid needs to be made humbled. Every word out of his mouth makes me want to vomit all over my cat.
Yeah too many people caught up on his speech patterns, loads people thought gaethje was dumb before he got his nose sorted, some people just don't listen.

No way bro, Steiny got called out for not being real at the end of the day and majority of us could see it. No hate to Steiny, but dude has a lot of work to do to figure himself out and be his true self.
One of my favorite fight interviews was Nate and Connor being interviewed by that lady on CNBC. She was gushing over Connor and asking all these crazy disrespectful questions to Nate, and Nate just stood up and walked out. You could see the shock on Connor's face like 'damn I should've left first'. Then, Nate went on to win. Such a great moment in fighting build up.
