Hola! Espero que ha sido útil. No, es relevante por los americanos también! Los programas diferentes en los estados unidos o Inglaterra, su único trabajo (o principal) es conectar los auxiliares con España. En este ejemplo - Madrid, todos los programas trabajan con la comunidad de Madrid. Cuando llegamos, nuestro 'empleador' es la comunidad, no nuestro programa. Así la mayoría de las experiencias de las reglas etc es la misma. La diferencía principal es dependente en las regiones, por ejemplo Madrid es la única region que es necesario hacer el curso de MOOC. Pero en los otros regiones también no puedes decidir tu escuela etc. Espero que mi repuesta es útil? Avísame si quieres preguntar algo más! :)

I met the girl I lived with before we moved to Spain via a Facebook auxiliar group and then friends from the same page once I moved! So I would recommend searching for one for your programme & year you are going. You get speaking to people when they make posts about advice/ their process etc. and everyone is in the same position and looking for friends. I also downloaded bumble friends where I met some language assistants who were not from the same country / programme as me. Recommend both!

Did you have school all 5 weekdays or just Mon-Thur?
4 days, I had Monday to Thursdays but others had them Tuesday - Friday
