    This is really awesome, I'm begining to understand more and more how you are searching , I see you chose like 4 or 5 different colors and then only worked with those colors while blending them together to create whatever you want . I currently only search with gray -scale. But these kind of videos really help me to understand how you do stuff.So I cannot thank you enough for that .

    One thing that I have to add is the predatory nature of scp 106 is one of the things that defines his character. He loves to play a horrifying game of cat and mouse with his prey until they are too exhausted to keep running from him. I'd recommend listening to or reading the scp tale 'Treats' to get a deeper understanding of how he behaves. ♡~♡

    This looks good so far but maybe you should have one leg out of the wall because when you walk through a door you dont go knees first but one leg in front of the other as if moving between dimensions is like walking through a door or if you have a different idea like maybe hes falling due to him being closer to the ceiling but thats just a suggestion

    you applied about 10 times as much thermal paste as you need!
    remove the block, clean off one side and re-seat it, it will perform much better. (you might need to repeat a couple of times and test)
    A typical amount of thermal goop is a bit about the size of a grain of rice in the middle of the heat spreader

  • @corpse666
    @corpse666 7 років тому

    I think you already have a good basis. Maybe some more slimey stuff, but it does look great so far^^

  • @TechExpanse
    @TechExpanse 7 років тому +10

    ahh thermal paste ... you have to put a blob in the middle or cross and press down the heat sink so the pressure spreads it evenly outwards, when you do that what you did it's high chance that you'll get air bubble in the middle somewhere which will reduce your cooling systems effectiveness by A LOT. Well as long as it doesn't overheat no problem, but if you notice something that should be the first thing to check.

    • @Peteru69
      @Peteru69 6 років тому +2

      And it's super easy to replace because it doesn't get "hard" when it dries the same way as glue so it's easy to remove. Plus thermal paste is cheap

  • @funkerdoo

    Missed this kind of video. Great job Boro! And I think he looks a bit too passive, since usually when he’s moving he is going after prey. So it should look like he’s trying to go somewhere rather than being stuck in a wall, if that makes sense. Otherwise looks nice!

  • @notzan5302
    @notzan5302 7 років тому

    I feel like in the "photo" in the article the face is a lot more exaggerated, he has a sort of toothy grin thing going on, which admittedly is kinda generic but it makes it more recognizable as opposed to just a random male corpse. it looks like the muscle of his face is gone, he's all cheekbones and chin, with no lips so his teeth bear.Also maybe it's just me but composition wise it looks like the left side of the canvas (the bright wall) is kinda bare, especially at the top on the ceiling. with the way the shadow currently lays I'm not sure if you were going to try and do some lighting stuff on that side, but it caught my attention.
    Glad to see you back at it. 👍

    1) This looks especially good! And creepy!
    2) Have you ever used DAZ Studio? It's free figure creation software, not so much because you need it, but rather to get perfect reference for how the shadow of the subject would be cast.
    3) What kind of CPU do you have that requires liquid cooling?

  • @1idd0kun
    @1idd0kun 7 років тому

    Painting looks great. About your computer, you should download a little app called Core Temp to see the CPU temperature. You know, to check if your new cooler is working properly. Normal temperature should be around 35º C when idle.

    In the game I remember he came out of his portals head first, like he rose out of it, might have been just because of the animation restrictions, but it might have looked REALLY creepy and eerie if he was pulling himself from the portal head first, fingers grabbing into the metal, corroding and melting his finger tips into the surfaces. OH maybe have him looking directly into the camera and pulling towards it, like the viewer is the pray and this is the last thing they see before they get spirited away~

  • @LillenArt2
    @LillenArt2 7 років тому

    @Borodante I heard you should only use a pea sized amount of thermal paste. The heat from the cpu will spread it out evenly. Too much can break your computer.

    Your sketch looks great so far and I have no complaints about it but I was a bit curious as to how he would exit walls. If he exits from walls near the ceiling and head first wouldn't he fall on his face? Or does he stay in the wall? How does he hunt for his prey? I tried to re-read the wiki page but it didn't seem to talk about that...

    • @redherringbone973
      @redherringbone973 7 років тому

      Malak Adil 106 prefers to camp out at an area until a prey falls into his trap (usually when his prey step on his tar, causing them to get stuck in the goop as their shoes sink into the ground or when they cringe in pain as they have their skin eroded) then he has a clear time to attack their vital organs and other stuff.

    • @redherringbone973
      @redherringbone973 7 років тому

      Malak Adil if he's in a crowded area he will most times attack unsuspecting prey or send them to his dimension to play with his food, while being in a safe place to eat/kill

    • @redherringbone973
      @redherringbone973 7 років тому

      Malak Adil about his wall walking thing, he will most likely just stick to the wall using his powers to... stick to walls... then slowly walk onto the floor, but to him everything is the floor
