Hi friends, I hope you enjoy the video. Such a fast make! These are a fun Fall decor project but using the colors of YOUR cat makes them a great year round coaster or for gift giving. 🧶🐈⬛
After I saw the gift-giving show, I bought the neck light. Best investment ever! I have limited mobility and spend my time either in my wheelchair or in bed. Unfortunately the lighting isn’t always good. Using the neck light gives me plenty of light exactly where I need it. Thanks for the recommendation!!
Just finished this! Made a white cat with red sparkle ears and tail. I’m new to crochet and watched a billion videos. This was my first finished project. Thank you!
So cute!!! I❤cats!! I have 5 indoor kitties, 1 indoor/outdoor boy, and currently have my son and his 2 girls with us. That is 8 cats and 4 people in a less than 900 square foot apartment. Everyone is getting along very well.
These are sooo cute, easy and rather quick to make. I never thought about reversing the order of increases to help soften the points. That is rather genius, Roz!!!! 💖I will be using that technique for other patterns. Great little fun project.
New to your channel and I had fun making these. After fastening off from the tail end, I left a longer yarn tail and used it to tack the tail on. It was helpful in redesigning the tail a bit and reducing weaving in the end 👍🏼
❤❤❤this! Seeing it done, it makes so much sense. I don’t have an intuitive sense of how to do these things, so I really appreciate tutorials like this! Will definitely be making these, being a big kitty-lover! Thanks so much!!
Well, Nancy, that makes me feel so good. Thank you for telling me and giving me your time. Much appreciated. I hope you’ll give these a try some time . They are genuinely quick 👏🏻🧶❤️
@@PlayHookywithMe I know they will! They love all things cat. I'm going crochet in wool and felt it. If we have to have chaos what better than cat chaos? 😂
Love this and will definitely be making these! Something I’ve learned to guarantee the circle stays a circle is on the rounds where it’s an even number you can split up the SC before the INC at the beginning and do half at the beginning and other half at the end. For example instead of doing 6SC at the beginning and INC, start with 3SC, INC, 6SC, INC, etc until you’re at the end and complete the final 3SC. Hope that makes sense 😂 Thank you for always making your videos so easy to follow. I love watching them, even just to relax after a long day. ❤
Ohhhh , love that. Great tip, thank you ! Yes , in essence as long as you know what the sum total of the round is , you can really do increases in whichever order you like, right? I like your system!! 🤩
Good morning Roz and happy Sunday to you... I love the cat 🐈 coasters and the coffee cat mug warmer . In addition to year round . Im going to make a few for a friend who have cats . ❤❤❤❤ Have a blessed day and week ahead with the boys .
This is an adorable pattern. ❤ I used pink yarn because it was the only color cotton yarn that I had, so my cat head also looks like a cute little piggy head. 😄
I absolutely love this kitty coaster pattern! So adorable! Yeah that is soooo strange the orange yarn worked up so differently than the black one. Thanks for the awesome tutorial! 😻
Hey, I e been running into companies claiming a yarn is #4 weight but in reality they are light #3's , even #2 weight, which I'm not a fan of unless paired w/ another yarn... I order online mostly right now cuz I'm housebound for now,, till who knows when!! I e snagged some really good sales!!! So buyer. BEWARE!!! LOL
Made the cat and ears but frogged the tail. Was using some very stiff cotton so I think it will go better with my usual Hobby Lobby cotton yarn. Quick to make!
Hello! I really enjoy your videos. I love kitties, just got a new baby 4 months ago from our local shelter. I think we go the creme de la creme. He's beautiful, smart, well behaved (hasn't done one bad thing yet, not even a litter shaker!!!) we love her dearly. Her name is Molly. I've always had cats!!! I'm going to make these up as gifts plus one for ea of us too... Very nice asy n adorable. I'll put faces on them, of course. Molly is mostly black (never had a black kitty before, but she has a light beige marled affect going on in parts of her fur. Which is soooo soft!!! Your kitty is adorable. What's it's name. How old. Molly is 3 yrs old... Great video. Thanks!!! ❤
Ohhh congratulations on your new edition. 🥰 I hope you can enjoy her for MANY years to come. My black beauty is called Loki. I thought he would be mischievous but he went the opposite way and is “low key” 😆 He is one of many now. I have another cat called Biscuit that is a tabby . And now we have 5 feral kittens that were born under our house that are now inside. My daughter kept 2 and I’ve kept 3. We still feed and take care of momma outside (we were able to catch her and get her spayed ) . It’s crazy - but I’ve never been happier 😻❤️ Big kisses to Molly 😽
@@PlayHookywithMe cats bring such joy to a home. Ea one is unique! All have such different personalities…. Molly is mostly low key, but does enjoy her kitty toys a lot. I’ll never be w/o a kitty in my home!! All your babies sound so special!! I had a Sphinx cat for 16 yrs!! He was amazing!! I miss him so much, still, and it’s been several yrs now since he went to Heaven… they are super affectionate cats!! He was glued to me!! , 24/7!!! 🌺
Yes , you can play with building the different height of stitches and even do a double treble , which is just like a treble crochet with an extra yo . It will just take some trial and error to build a triangle shape that you like. You might find use in searching how other crocheters/patterns make ears .
@PlayHookywithMe thanks for the advice, I will try that, I'm still very new. I like your videos a lot btw, I'm also working on one of your blanket patterns ❤️

These coasters are so cute. The black ones would look so good with green cat eyes. You could stitch them on or use some type of jewel. ☮️🌎🌲
