I want to thank teacher Rebecca and Engvid for such a rich and helpful content, it's the only one that I found on UA-cam which the verbs are explained detail by detail and not just in a superficial way. I've been learning English for almost five years and never could master the tenses the way I'm able to do it now. I can't wait for the present future and present future continuous classes!
Since 2020 I'd been studying grammar and didn't progress much, once I meet by chance with your channel I've been listening to your lessons and learned a lot, thank you so very much the way you explain us the grammar much appreciated🙏🙏

Hi, Rebecca. I appreciate this lesson video. It's just what I have been looking for. You explain this perfect tense series very carefully and kindly. You are one of the best teacher I've seen on the internet. Thank you very much! :)
It is ALWAYS a good idea to compare the validity of different tenses used so that we could easily avoid the mistakes. In addition we have more understanding of the different usages of the tenses.
I really love you, teacher, because with you, every thing is easy. Thanks a lot, by the way, I am a moroccan student, and you have to know that you've been making me very motivated.
Hi!ma'am Rebecca🙋♂️.I have finished your lesson from present simple to future continues. Thanks a lot ma'am Rebecca.I have had a great time with your lesson. From now on,I can write English sentence with grammatically and confidently 🎉🎉🎉..

Those classes about verb tenses have been amazing, my compliments to the teacher. As a Portuguese speaker, my biggest issue is to get the difference between PAST PERFECT CONTINUOUS and PAST CONTINUOUS. Could I use them interchangeable?
You are the best teacher. I had been learning english for 2 years and i have never seen teacher like you i can understent everything you say cuz its easy!
Thank you so much Rebecca! I am lucky to found you! You always use the best way to explain so difficult tense. With my kindly regards from UK ( originally from Tajikistan).
I'm a high school English teacher in Senegal, West Africa. I must admit that getting the students understood the past continuous tense is not easy at all.
I had been watching at you two week ago from Africa continent, south sudan ,Juba and i you to help me in English tenses.Great teacher! blessing you over there!
First of all, THANK YOU so much Rebecca for teaching us in your videos with so much details. Specifically in this video you were the only one youtube's teacher able to make me understand this tense and the only one who really made me learn the difference between PRESENT perfect continuous and PAST perfect continous because before this video I'd confusing this two tenses a lot. So, thank you very much for this COMPLETE video! I'd shared this with my class. CONGRATULATIONS for your excellent work and your kindness!! I love ALL YOUR VIDEOS and you're the first teacher I look for on UA-cam. Thank you Rebecca 🥰
Thank you so much for the lesson, Rebecca. Could you make an explanation video about the difference between past continuous and past perfect continuous? When do we use one over the other? Thanks in advance for your help. Regards from Indonesia. 🙏🏻
Thank you for this question! I don't see a difference between this two tenses. For example, why we can't say " It was snowing all week " instead "it had been snowing all week"?
Madam, you are really Great. You had been explaining well the difference between Past Perfect continuous tense and present perfect continuous tense at 29th minutes of this session. Awesome!
Before I had listened these classes I had been struggling with past progressive tenses. But now they are my favorite an I will have used them more easily and with enjoyment! Thank you Rebecca ❤

Madam! You are such a terrific teacher. I love your style. You make things very easy to understand. You ate the very best I have ever seen. Magnificent teaching style. I love you Madam Teacher. Hats off for you. Thank you, thank you. I've always had problems with past perfect and continuous. But not now. Thanks you Madam Rebecca!!!!
Thanks a million for this amazing video. I've been learning English for quite a longe time but still fail when it comes to the past perfect continues clause. I had been watching plenty videos regarding this subject before, but none of them were so tremendously useful than yours. Thanks again.
when we use simple past continues we talk about an action that happened in the during of another action that we was doing in the past. For example: The phone rang when I was reading the book. It means in the during of reading the phone rang and he stopped reading and answered the phone.
@@MeryemKocabayDesign No dear. There are some rules in English. little bit confused. when we use simple past continuous we use it as storytelling. We can describe it as when something was happening in the past and something happened "at the same time" as previously said the phone rang while I was reading. In the middle of the activity " reading", the phone rang But perfect continuous use to describe something had been happening and when "something happend" .it means one activity has already done or finished. Hope u got it😊😊😊😊
@@MeryemKocabayDesign No, we can't use past perfect continuous here. because when we talk about past perfect continuous, we had completed our action in the past and after that did another action. For example: 'I had been jogging before it started to rain' it means I had completed jogging and after that here happened another action. Past continuous has different case as I said before. For example: You read a book from 2 PM until 3 PM yesterday. I ask you: 'What did you do at 02:30 PM yesterday?' You say: I was readind a book. It means at 02:30 PM you were in the during of reading.
