They all are basically 70's Les Paul custom specs with a few changes and wacky shapes and finishes. Pair that with Schekter's level of quality and you'll be hard pressed to find something objectively negative about it
Just got one and I love it. It’s my 4th Wylde Audio. They’re all solid guitars. From the Odins, Warhammers, Viking V’s, to the Thorax. You won’t be disappointed.

I love the concept of Wylde Audio. HUGE necks and EMGs. I even love the inlays. But aesthetically they're just not my thing.
I personally love how Zakk is designing new shapes. I’m tired of seeing super strats, singlecuts and the like constantly.
This is definitely one of the better designs they have. It looks awesome!

Good review. Call me bitter, but Les Paul toting Zakk Wylde will always be iconic. Imagine a budget friendly bulls eye Gibson Les Paul 🙋🏼♂️
Saw Wylde with Pantera a couple months ago, still a beast. However, when we see similar shit on Reverb we laugh at it but when Wylde sells it people fawn over it. Don't get me started on the nonlocking tuners and having a tune-o-matic.

Unpopular opinion: I still love the 81/85 combo.
loving the Viking RUNE inlays better than the heavy blocks.. as much as i love Gibson Custom block inlays.. the FULL block inlays detracted from the neck i think.. these RUNES look fantastic as the body get busy in appearance..
most of the signature guitars are just battling for the design flaw award, this one is a hot contender for sure 🤣🙈

Every time I see this shape, all I think is "Reverse Avenger". I LOVE Avengers, but it being backwards just feels weird.. I don't hate it! But I think I need to get used to looking at a backwards Avenger 😂
I'll be honest. I actually really like a lot of the Wylde Audio shapes. My issue is that I really don't like most of thee finishes. I just really don't care for swirls and bullseyes etc. They have a couple with cooler finishes, but so many are like this and it's just not my thing. Maybe one day I'll put in the money to get one and have it refinished.
Incredibly ugly, no way! Not for everyone, absolutely! I've been wanting to buy one of those VIP package, stage-played guitars!
I wonder if they expect anyone to buy this guitar that isn't a Zakk Wylde fan. For $1400 I expect better hardware. Though, even if it did have the best hardware, I'd never buy a 22 fret guitar.
My Wylde Audio Odin Rawtop plays better than my Gibson and LTD but it's been retired. Zakk signed it!!

Me myself Owning and a proud owner of a Larrivee RS3 made in the year 87 and i can only say that i love it even if i think ít´s look a little bit wierd with its "overhanging" upper wing and head that many people referred to look like a hockey stick... but it works like a AtomicClock.❤

They always sound beefy and chunky for sure.. I prefer the inlays over the oversized blocks in the past.. was just a little TOO MUCH BLOCK going on.. its growing on me and shape .. kinda like a smashed firebird that grew a top horn.. i dont know.. certainly has an attitude..
I am in love with the Heathen Grail! It looks insane and I love that it basically is an extreme version of a doublecut LP. I really want one, but for $1,400 I could get so many other cool guitars. I really want to try it out to see if it is right for me
I'm sorry, but I think all guitars $1000+ should come with a hardshell case. Especially if it's a non-std shape. Strat, Tele, LP? Fine, maybe you can go a little higher but it shouldn't be a pain in the ass to protect your guitar.

That's why we didn't get the squealies in the Caparison demo. You had this one in the pipeline already...okay...I can forgive you.
They're all Schecter guitars made in the Schecter factory. The only thing they do is put a different paint job on it different bodies shape, but the woods all Shechter same thing as their bodies Sach needed someplace to put his money and this is what he's done with his money to tax write off for him.

That’s a crazy cool looking guitar, has good hardware too. But those necks man… I think it’s love it or hate, my hands are small. 😅 loved the way they sound , but man they chunky. I want to buy a Wylde guitar, but waiting for a bulls eye they did few years back in a certain color.
it's just a flipped schecter avenger with sharper points. definitely sounds Like a schecter with EMGs, don't think they're near worth the price. But you get what you pay for with a name attached
I hope they get to make some Dimebag guitras in the future! It seems like Dean is going out of busniess AGAIN and it would be sad to never see Dimebag guitars again.

I've had a few artist signature guitars over the years and and I always get rid of them. They all played great, but they just seemed a little fan boyish to me after a while.
These are totally not my style, no disrespect meant. I'll stick to Ibanez RGs.

It's a rip off of the BC Rich Wave guitar. I feel it's fine for guitars to look like other guitars, but also nice to know where the design originated from.

Zakk is a likeable character for sure but he or whoever his creative team is cannot design guitars. All of them are ugly as sin. Sorry Uncle Zakk.
This thing is so over the top it’s ridiculous. But I don’t hate it for some reason. Probably wouldn’t buy it but I wouldn’t throw it out either.
In a world full of Les Pauls and Strats....this is a nice diversion. Didn't care for it at first but damn if it's not growing on me.
It seems to sit on your leg very snugly witch would appeal to sit down players like me thanks for showing your guitar interests.

Wylde Audio guitars are the only pointy extreme metal guitars I love, they have a cleart identity that remains classy, and I absolutely love the headstock shape and pattern
I do not like thick necks these necks are like baseball bats
If it lays well while you sit and play, it’s a winning shape in my book
And if the girlfriend approves, also a winner
I like the Barb slighty more but this one is pretty rad.
