They tried about 10yrs ago and they did not sell well at all. The Armada just feels so different from any of the other stuff EBMM made at the time. It is a cool guitar though and I don’t plan on ever getting rid of mine…..
As you tour with that, and it starts to “relic” and the flame maple blue finish comes out, it’s gonna have some serious mojo and uniqueness. Awesome video
That's so cool. The guitar actually looks really good like this. Congrats Fluff on getting a guitar that's as uniquely you as it can get. You've got your own little piece of history there, and it suits you!
What a bunch of Absolute LEGENDS!!! Making an Incredible Thrash Plan, by taking a Guitar, sitting in a Trash Can. Amazing what the right People, Paint and Hardware can accomplish. Way to go Fluff!!!
Coming back to the channel after a while, so, sorry if this is super late but I'm really liking this video style where the talking and playthrough cut back and forth rather than doing one and then the other, feels oddly cinematic. Great video
You're obviously geeked. Great story and guitar. Thumbs up to everyone involved. That was definitely a solid on Tomas's part. There's some irony in there. But a guitar was freed to make sweet music.
Wow, what a wonderful guitar! It looks great, it sounds great! I hope they will build these again...in the future. Maybe also 7 string guitars. A rhythm, riff, rock and metal monster! 😃🤘
next video will have a affiliate link to your signature for sure 🤣 but compared to what other guitar brands are doing right now especially when it its about just getting pricey, i think music man is top 3 of the most serious brands right now, the excact opposite of gibson for me! cheers 🎸🎸
Less than one in a thousand guitars I come across have this certain, "clatter" to them when you are banging chords. The strings are almost loose and clicky. I hope that make sense to someone. Those guitar are always a dream to play and record. That guitar has it. It actually comes thru in the video. Congrats on a gem Fluff! You still have 10 doritos on the fretboard.
As a tall guy at 6'-6" I wish solid body guitars would come in full size versions. Just chamber them to cut down the weight. I make most "normal" sized guitars look tiny. My only option to keep the proportions looking correct are the full size semi-hollows or hollow bodies.
Dude, that guitar looks sick! I love it. Something about that guitar reminds me of a Fernandes Vertigo I used to have. Had Seymour duncan pick ups and a sustainer built in to it. Body was unique and was almost same color as your Music man with black hardware.
I played an Armada at the Music Man booth at Warped Tour years ago. I remember the neck being pretty great, but I didn't didn't like how the body shape felt while playing in the seated position. I'm tall, so guitars with narrow bodies tend to sit too low in my lap, causing me to hunch over when playing, which leads to back pain after about 15 minutes. Since I almost exclusively play standing up or with a performaxe now, I would be interested to play one again.
Literally the only reason I've never considered Ernie ball guitars is the looks/finishes. I'm usually not even a fan of all black guitars but that's sick with the binding
Sweet dude.... That is nice as hell i like the color... My neighbors friend who works for our town, found a Jackson dinky in the trash and it turned out to be 1,500 bucks new... Someone must've pissed their girlfriend off.. but we cleaned it up and got it playing like a champ
I think the Armada was one of the most beautiful guitar designs ever. I was so sad when it was discontinued because the ones in the wild just keep going up in price on the used market. They were always just out of my price range and I had hopes that they would at least add it to the Sterling line. Unfortunately, that never happened so now I will just have to admire them from afar.
I absolutely agree. I think the carved 3D Doritos shape is already enough, painting it a different colour is too "on the nose". If you look at the Kaizen and St. Vincent, they have the raised V shape too, but it's the same colour as the rest of the body and they looks very geometric and avant garde.
The armada has always been my favorite shape from music man. I agree with you mostly about the dorito but sometimes it did look stunning. The one you have here is perfect in every way. Can not understand why that thing isn't in production and flying off the shelves
Cool story and I love me the Armada. But I love the nacho chip. Thats what made me buy one. It was so different with the triangular arch top. And the two tone with the figured maple. Fluff that is a killer guitar. You would think that would have been a huge seller, Guess not. Thanks for the story very fun and interesting.
Fluff, PLEASE make them do it as your sig model and let them TAKE MY MONEY
Agreed…Please Music Man take my money!!!! The Armada is the only guitar I’ve ever seen my girlfriend say “I like that one”
Damn i want them to take my money too..hahaah it is just fkin increidble!
I’m onboard too. It would be epic! Definitely more of a signature model than others out there right now.
They tried about 10yrs ago and they did not sell well at all. The Armada just feels so different from any of the other stuff EBMM made at the time. It is a cool guitar though and I don’t plan on ever getting rid of mine…..
I'm game too!!
That thing looks killer. They could do a reissue with that same color and I think it would do well.
As you tour with that, and it starts to “relic” and the flame maple blue finish comes out, it’s gonna have some serious mojo and uniqueness. Awesome video
If they dont bring this back in this form, they are crazy. That thing looks killer
That's so cool. The guitar actually looks really good like this. Congrats Fluff on getting a guitar that's as uniquely you as it can get. You've got your own little piece of history there, and it suits you!
The triangular bit in the middle is a huge part of what makes that model look so good, imho. It's a neat idea and really well executed.
The people at EBMM are so cool. You can tell that they have a passion for making what musicians want.
I love ur new video style of interspersed guitar playing within the story, keep it up!
Wow! What a story man!!!
Congrats! you literally gave life to a forgotten old lady!❤🔥
I've never played a Musicman, but I always liked the Amarda. It's a shame that it went out of production, they look amazing.
I cannot believe I have not seen or heard of these, not once. That guitar is badass.
That is sweet af. What a killer story, too - it’s always cool to hear of companies with that kind of ethos, to be that musician focused.
what an articulate middle position of pick ups. wtf. never heard such a clarity with middle section :O wow. love that beauty
What a bunch of Absolute LEGENDS!!!
Making an Incredible Thrash Plan, by taking a Guitar, sitting in a Trash Can.

Dude what a great story, and I’m glad that Armada went to a great home! Enjoy!
I have to admit, I never even looked at those until your vid. Wow! Color scheme and hardware changed my mind! LOVE IT!! Thx for sharing!
I love this new style of narration in your video
This is so cool. Big fan of the suspense building cutting the playing in with the story 👌 So... Signature model run?
Great guitar, great story - what an honor. best to you and really appreciate your channel
That is a gem of a guitar! Looks absolutely amazing
Super fun! - I used to have a Fernandes Vertigo done in this exact style finish. Really sick lookin. Love it.
Love the matte black look and the white trim
You're obviously geeked. Great story and guitar. Thumbs up to everyone involved. That was definitely a solid on Tomas's part. There's some irony in there. But a guitar was freed to make sweet music.
Great story! Thanks for sharing

One of the dopest EBMM i have seen, that guitar looks and sounds effin sweet!
That's awesome! That's a story for the grandkids......the last armada. Sounds like a classic naval movie......
Hell yeah! Very nice geetar you got there sir, looks n sounds a beast!
That looks stunning !!! And I agree .. looks MUCH better without the binding around the hump !!
next video will have a affiliate link to your signature for sure 🤣 but compared to what other guitar brands are doing right now especially when it its about just getting pricey, i think music man is top 3 of the most serious brands right now, the excact opposite of gibson for me! cheers 🎸🎸
Having just seen this today, I LOVE the new look for that guitar. Idk why they didn’t do that from the beginning. It’s sooooooo good.
I really love the shape and the look in general!!!
It looks So good Fluff !
That's Cool, nothing better than a great story with a great guitar.
Awesome man congrats!
Wow, great story! Fantastic looking guitar too! Enjoy
WOW. Badass and slick overall, BUT It's the the binding on the headstock that makes it POP just that much more for me!
Ya dude, that thing is sick. They should totally make one as your sig model. Wasn't an Armada fan, but now I really really want one. 🤘
That rules! I always loved the Armada’s silhouette but also was not into the Dorito chip down the middle.
Fluff!!!!! I need this guitar in my life. It needs to be your signature model.
Love everything about that axe. I’ve not been a follower of EB guitars, but that body is great.
My God! That is absolutely stunning.
These are fantastic guitars
Yea that looks great. I’d buy one. The shape is great with it all being one tone

Awesome looking guitar and cool story that goes with it.
Super awesome looking guitar man!! Good for you 🤘!! MusicMan can without doubts reactivate that model 🤩
It’s the corvette of music man line. Beautiful! I want one now lol
Dude, that guitar looks sick! I love it. Something about that guitar reminds me of a Fernandes Vertigo I used to have. Had Seymour duncan pick ups and a sustainer built in to it. Body was unique and was almost same color as your Music man with black hardware.
Great story, really cool they took your idea and actually did it. Great looking guitar.
I wish they would bring this back. Love it.
Dude, how cool is that...?
Beautiful guitar with a cool story behind it. 👍
Wow! I've never heard of these before - what a cool guitar!!!!!!!!
While I’m not a fan of naming guitars, I think it’s corny as fuck…but this Armada should totally be named Oscar The Grouch, for obvious reasons.
Great story and that guitar looks amazing! I would buy one of those.
Damn it man!!!! They need to bring it back !!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Killer axe, sir! Tomas is a freaking *legend*!

As an rd and iceman person it scratches me the right way, what a beauty of a work it is!
Love that color
That guitar looks fantastic!!!!
Dang!
Had they made a Stealth Armada to begin with, this Guitar might have taken off Big Time!!!
Just an amazing Looking Guitar!
Nice score; great story.
I'd love to have an Armada like that, and I'm low key obsessed with that riff at the 2:16 mark.
I’ve never seen one of those guitars before. I love it.
Wow!! Love everything about it!!
what an awesome story dude. Rad!
OMG that guitar is SICK! I didn't even know the Armada existed but I need it YESTERDAY! Preferably in a Sterling because I be a bit broke BUT STILL.
this is so rad dude
God that's cool! If anyone should have this absolute weapon it should definitely be you, Fluff!
This solid colour Armada is the first Music Man guitar I've ever wanted.
Literally the only reason I've never considered Ernie ball guitars is the looks/finishes. I'm usually not even a fan of all black guitars but that's sick with the binding
I will buy one of those.Good idea fluff. Music Man should reissue as your new signature guitar.
Thanks Fluff. You got some juicy riffs out of that guitar. Great save.
That guitar looks awesome
These guitars actually are neck-through versus a set-neck, which makes them that much more awesome.
dude, this is so cool
Sweet dude.... That is nice as hell i like the color...
My neighbors friend who works for our town, found a Jackson dinky in the trash and it turned out to be 1,500 bucks new... Someone must've pissed their girlfriend off.. but we cleaned it up and got it playing like a champ
Mai It Looks So Nice!
Really Cool! 🤘🏻
so fun!
i like riffs and cool guitars

you being so excited about one of your fav guitars had me beaming!
Amazing what one change does to the looks of a guitar!

Just like Leo, never threw things away. Love music man 🫂
Favorite Armada I have seen.
It does look sharp
Usually not a fan of that kind of shape, BUT THAT looks KILLER!
The armada has always been my favorite shape from music man. I agree with you mostly about the dorito but sometimes it did look stunning. The one you have here is perfect in every way. Can not understand why that thing isn't in production and flying off the shelves
i thought 100% that it was a new guitar. Looks modern to me. They should bring it back
Wow I would totally purchase this! This is the coolest music man I've ever seen!
This looks really good. I would totally get one of these.
This looks like it would make one hell of a Baritone platform with some new custom-voiced Musicman pick-ups.
One of a kind, and wow is that beautiful! The trash can story just makes it even cooler!
It remonds me of a early 60s Corvette Stingray or a boatail Buick Riviera.
Its your own own signature "Trashcan Armada".
Funny. Never been a single-cut fan, but this Armada looks awesome! I may try to look for one on the used market.
Beauty guitar!
Need one of these
