      What do you mean by "set train traffic"? You only really place signals and setup lines/DOs.

    the long tunnel of 1.5 km could be separated in a smaller fragments. Just deepen the surface level a bit...

      Alternatively, draw dummy tunnels parallel to the already planned ones, then redraw the original tunnels segment by segment

      I don't think that has worked since they've made the nodes Smart, that like to join together whenever they can...

      ​@@bballjo Still works, as long as each segment is more than 180m long
      Or... draw a segment in blueprint mode to already confirmed, non-blueprint segment, place signal between them, confirm blueprint, rinse and repeat should work

      @@hai.nguyenhoang that's what I've tried telling bballjo for weeks also :D
      I've been doing that for at least a year, and it still works fine as of today
      using the "confirm each segment plan in sequence with a signal in between the older segment and the newer one" technique, I've reliably made 60 to 80m long segments, which is my chosen block size for signal placement on my main lines (I have no crosses, so no problem of "train blocking an intersection" almost ever)
      to extend a bit / rephrase upon the 2 answers from hai :
      first you draw the tunnel as you would like it to be
      draw the parrallel using F4
      delete the first tunnel
      redo that tunnel block by block, placing a signal between each block before confirming the plan of each block
      you can of course do other parrallel tunnels at the same time, for multiple track goodness ;D
      it will net you a nicely curved and sloped tunnel with (many) signals, and thus, many trains able to run in the same tunnel at the same time
      It sorts of manipulates the game mechanics using the fact that confirmed plans and plans aren't of the same "type" when drawing, so the game cannot merge the blocks together and delete the node. So you just... force the game to keep the node there by placing a signal.
      Beware though : if you remove the signal, the node will disappear and you won't be able to place a signal there ever again... except by demolishing and redoing that tunnel.
      By the way, speaking of "manipulating game mechanics" : I sometimes even do the reverse of the "draw a bridge parrallel to a surface road/rail", but with tunnels : it also works like a charm !

    Bbaljo faltering the game saying trains can find their and transport fever should be inspired by WRSR. 10 minutes later the game does the opposit. Is it not quite an ironic situation? 😁

      Haven't played any biomes...maps are about the current things I want to try.
