6:28 Thats Jørn Viggo Lofstad (pronounced "Jurn Viggo"),the man that Floor Jansen herself wanted to collab with,and that made her duo Northward come alive,wich you have reacted to earlier. When Floor Jansen "headhunts" you,you know you are good. Theese guys have worked hard to make a breakthrough for years,i think to a point where a new album has been delayed by a few years due to "lack of motivation",probably questioning themselfs if its worth it,because they have been so hardworking,so passionate and the results has somewhat not shown themselfs yet. The most genuine of guys,thoose are my people right there. All Norwegian act,even the guest vocalist Michael (who is best friends with the entire band) Thanks alot for giving them some PR! Very underrated band for theyr extreme talents,wich deserved alot more success then they have achieved so far. You defintly need more songs by them,because theyr lead singer Nils K. Rue hits some insane notes,if the song requires it. He has even done some own covers on his own YT channel wich is worth a watch.

It doesn't get any better than Pagan's Mind for progressive metal. Jorn Viggo Lofstad is an absolute monster player. And Stian (drummer) has incredible timing between his double bass and tom work.

0'20" Those moves are great Suzi ! And a good day Travis ! 1'27" Great look Travis , your eyes are on fire ! Imponent and carismatic !! 2'50" Like very much the rythm guitars ! There are two singers . It is good the built of the song ! 6'09" Our kind of beat eh ! This song has some progressive influences i think . The singers have some personalities (and nowdays is difficult) although their style in my opinion is very defined throught power prog with a lot of high notes with some sort of falsettos (i can be wrong) . They are very tecnical for sure . A song in fact is too less to determined their unicity that is highly difficult with this kind of song . They have talent in a pure tecnical way , a great control , and also they sing without 'sospiri' as i personally prefer .
