@@n300zx931 you’re always getting on me how early I retire these 🤣🤣 the bike was just handling very lazy. with the 180 this bike feels so eager to lean in and change direction
Dude are you kidding me? That tire has way more life in it. You haven't even leaned that thing over. It looks brand new on the sides. You are telling me that a few mm of ware are changing the handling dynamics of your bike? Give your bike the beans and throw that thing in to a corner. I am lucky to get 2000 miles out of a sport touring tire and it is worn form edge to edge. Sorry not meaning to bag on you. I live in So Cal and ride canyons 6000-7000 miles a year. I go through three sets of tires a year and that tire is not done.
That’s actually dragging knee, so feel free to try pushing passed that, it’s a track tire not a sport touring tire the edge is way deeper and just try getting to the edge on that tire without the track feel free! and if you watched I said I swapped it early because it’s a 190 and I’m sick of the slower handling than the 180 rear
@@Lostonabike Dude do you live in So Cal? If so, you need to come ride with me and my friends. I never drag knee on the street. But even riding hard I wear the crap out of the entire tire. My Duke came with crappy Maxis tires, and I wore the crap out of the sides of them. Once again not bagging on you we all ride and are all brothers. The only reason I watched this video is because I bout a set of these today. I wanted to see what the life expectancy might be. I understand the 180-190 thing. Putting a wider tire on a 180 wheel will change the turn in geometry. It messes up the tire shape and makes the turn in feel like you're falling into the turn. Mixed with the stock front tire size I am sure it feels odd. These are just my thoughts from someone who has been riding for forty years. No insults intended, ride safe!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@mikeglick3507 ride the tire you’ll see what I mean. They grip extremely well! I usually go edge to edge no problem but not these tires. No way I’d get the edge on these. Also They peel easy and they won’t last long, I had them hot tearing quite rapidly at 30-32 psi

Sorry thinking backwards the turn in must feel much slower with the tire profile being much flatter on a 180 wheel my bad.
