Wanted to say thank you for having Dr Zac on. Had our video chat today for doing the vaccine titers. He is such a wealth of knowledge . Hopefully our vet is not going to give me a problem about doing the titers. We need more vets like Dr Zac .
I got my golden doodle at eight weeks old two years ago and I just wanted one. Afterwards I was like oh crap like a lot more goes into this. He is my child and thanks for your videos crate training, food, playing, walking on leash and this video. My pup is doing great❤

During my recent surgery, I had to board my dog…she had to be completely vaxxed or they would not board her. Because she has AHDS I had to do a medical board for her because she needs eyes on her…they were nice enough to space her vaccines out for me. But, bottom line it has to be done…..
@@user-wu6yj9fx1z That's the problem, IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE DONE, when enough people STAND UP FOR THE DOGS AND REFUSE VACCINES, only then will they back down and not demand it be done. VACCINES ARE POSION do your research and read what each vax has in it, the ingredients are HARMFUL AND NOT ONE INGREDIENT IS HEALTHY FOR PET OR HUMAN, those are the FACTS>
i was quoted 400 for a titer for rabies, so this is not going to take off, esp when these are not even accepted by the state. i will opt to not vaccinate instead.
My puppies just got parvo and still in quarantine from the other two, but I don’t feel I should vaccinate again because they had all three set of vaccines and they still got parvo.

Perfect timing! A quick question, do you have a video on possible negative tests for internal parasites? I adopted a stray kitten and had her fecal tested. Negative for worms. However… the vet and I had a big discussion about deworming as standard protocol and flea/tick preventatives every month. I did pay for them, but have not administered them on the kitten yet. He also was very adamant about feeding grains even to cats. Which I will definitely not do. (She’s freeze dried raw right now.)
In the case those worm test came back negative, should she take a dewormer? Maybe for tapeworm?

Awesome live as usual! Is sucks that I missed it in real time because I wanted to ask: What about traveling, can dogs travel with titers in place of vaccines? I travel with my dog every year for 1 moth to my home country, Colombia, and I have yet to figure out if and how to do so with titers.
That wasn’t the impression I got when you had the discussion with a female vet….regarding vaccinations. The discussion was definitely against vaccinations……..either you are for vacs or not…..you can’t be in between. So which is it?

Thank you for this great information! I am a business owner of a dog grooming salon/daycare. I have always required vaccinations per owners veterinarian schedule but I now have a 1 year old puppy and since 2020 I have been researching vaccines(human and canine). I would like to offer and opt out for clients if they have a tiger test done to prove immunity, however there is still the kennel cough concern. I am convicted on what to do with the information I now have and also be able to do what’s best for all my dogs clients. Any suggestions? Kennel cough shut out daycare down for a month 8 years ago… all dogs were vaccinated.

How long do you personally wait to take your dog outside of your home after the last puppy vaccine? The vet says 10 days but do you think five days is okay? What have you done? Waiting for the puppies to get all the mandatory vaccines has been tough.
About 5 days ago we took our small 12 yr old dog Shorty to update his Bortetella, it was oral, not a shot, anyway he did well, but since that day he's had really bad diarrhea, he doesn't seem in pain, he's drinking water, and has a appetite, something is jst up with his stomach,,is this a side affect of that vaccine?

Are the titre tests that some vets do in their own surgery as accurate as the Gold standard lab titre tests? I read that some tests have not been studied to be proven accurate.
Also if the titre shows there are antibodies does that mean that there is automatically T cell memory (that can't be tested for?) Can you have antibodies without the T cells having memory of the disease? Iogic would say so.
I'm guessing that the T cell test would only be of benefit if the antigens were dormant until exposure to disease. Sound correct?
So just wondering, if we follow this set of vaccination schedule would our puppies still be considered "up to date"?
If my pup got their first dhhpv shot at 7.5 weeks and a second at 12 weeks should I get him a third booster or stop now??
There is only one Vet in town that even knows about Titer testing and they quoted me $240!! What I need to know is what vaccines do you give your older dogs. Mine are large breed ages 4 and 7. I do Rabies for sure. I just did DAPP for my 7 year old. I had to do 2 shots weeks apart because it had been a while since her last DAPP. Is this right?! Is that really necessary at their age? They are not around other dogs except family dogs. What do you do?
I couldn’t get ANY vet in my area (conventional, integrative, or holistic) to agree to titer after the 2nd booster and avoid the 3rd round of core vaccines. I’m feeling obligated to get the 3rd set done in 4 weeks with a holistic vet at least. But can you point us to the resources or studies showing that this 3rd round has been proven unnecessary? I can’t find anything stating this online and I don’t have a leg to stand on when I say my reason I don’t want it is bc “I HEARD it’s not necessary or good our dogs” 😕 thanks 🙏🏼

The breeder gave our pup so many vaccines starting at 4 weeks parvo, 6 weeks IDAPPv, 8 weeks IDAPPV, then again at 12 weeks :( Is there anything that we can do or just hope for the best? Thanks so much for spreading this wonderful information .

I recently paid $200 for core vaccine toters and $400 for rabies titer! Both came back as immune. Sent to IDDEX? May have wrong letters! Disgusting. I have 6 dogs! I watched video with Rachel and Dr. Ruth and am trying to work with my vet. Protect the pets. Can do Titers for WAY less! Like $54!

I am bringing home an 8 week old puppy. She’s already had two combo’s from the breeder. I’m taking her to a vet for her first check up in 2 weeks. I assume they will want to continue the puppy vaccination schedule. Do I ask for a Titer test first? She’s been vaccinated too early, imo, so I’m confused as to what to do next.

I wish vets would stop suggesting that leafy greens and things like sweet potatoes are healthy for dogs. They have the same poison that chocolate has and that’s oxalates. Toxic Super Foods.

It’s ridiculous how much timer tests cost
I am in SC. I just found a vet holistic vet that will do titer test as my regular won't, and they said they are only $65. I hope she was not incorrect. My appointment is in a couple of weeks. Also, they do a 3 yr mercury free rabies, whereas my regular vet only does the 1 yr rabies.
@@laurifowler4424 Wow, I didn't even know there was a mercury free rabies. I was charged 150 and we live in a very rural area. I also felt like the titer test was inaccurate. Perhaps the sample wasn't handled properly. The vet was outraged that I wanted a titer test. I am glad you found a holistic vet. That will be helpful. We do not have any here...just too rural of any area I suppose.
My vet told me that the cost of the titer test and an exam would be $640. It’s ridiculous
My dog ONLY got the first three vaccines because i wasn t well informed. But no more vaccines now. They just don t work, and ONLY can cause problems to the dog. Healthy food nature, walking outside, contact with Mother earth, sun, playing outside . All the good things that are great for humans are also great for animals

@@mkgillett I can't comment on parvo but I don't believe in any vaccines whatsoever. It's near impossible to find a dog via a breeder that doesn't vaccinate the puppies starting at 8 weeks of age. It's insanity, and it's disappointing the breeders do not do research to learn the truth; AS THESE ANIMALS ARE BORN HEALTHY ONLY TO BECOME SICK OR HAVE VARIOUS CONDITIONS ALL TIED TO THE VACCINE, same with humans.
@@mkgillett I only jabbed my dog once before I followed the money to big pharma. I have never had any problems except once when we boarded our dog and he got kennel cough which was no biggie to heal. If your worried find a homeopathic vet and ask him about using nosodes which are the safe version of vaccines.
Information at what age ranges puppies are at the most susceptible to Parvo is really helpful. The American kennel Club does not accept titer testing. And my last note is "If her immunity level against rabies, for example, is very high, the maternal antibodies for rabies may last up to four months. If her level is low, they may persist for only five or six weeks."
