Thanks for figuring out the problem and then making such an informative, easy to follow video. I got my pedal in July but haven't taken the time to open it up until today. Sure enough, it was mucked up. I couldn't figure out why you didn't simply pull the connectors off and switch the wires until I began to cut away the shrink wrap and noticed the soldered ends. 😅 From Portugal with an embarrassed smile, JAY
Also remember to disconnect from the power before attempting these repairs 😂 excellent video and explanation, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Hey Dave, I do not have a pedal ( Yet ) but found this information interesting as I do have a tig machine and want to use a pedal on it. I have looked online and found pedals with two prong or three prong but did not buy either as I did not know what the wires inside the pedal connect to. Now I know, so thank you.
@madgingercustoms yeah my last video was mostly wiring ... I'm like not videoing any of this!! Someone complained about me not showing my work I was like you wanna watch me plug stuff in... hahaha
Well Explained, Clear Instructions! Great Job!!
Thank you!

I really didn't know the best way of diagnosing it so i cut them so I could just twist them together and use my meter/
Glad I saw this I was on board with buying this welder but if they can't get that right who knows what else they didn't get right

@@madgingercustoms ya I'm down with paying for stuff and having to fix it probably just a little more and buy a welder from eastwood thanks

Great job
Thank you!
their testing and QC people should have put this out there a lot sooner!
They may have if they figured it out. They happen to ask me for help and I didn't mind.
Any idea if they've fixed this from the factory yet? Or does it come like this on purpose for the newer version?
I don't know.
