- Seminole County deputies say a teen suspect is in custody after 10 people were shot in Sanford. Deputies say shortly after midnight, law enforcement heard multiple gunshots coming from the back of a Cabana Live Event.
According to deputies, the 16-year-old was apprehended by a security officer and is currently being booked into the Juvenile Detention Center.

I realize that is what studies show but I think that data is flawed. I'm not sure why, though, it is flawed.
Anyway I am thinking that age 9 is generally when people start to become more aware of things and they and many other people believe they (the 9-16yos) do know right from wrong. That might be true for a lot of people in the 9-16yo age range but I am thinking that is more the exception than the rule. I also think mainstream researchers etc have not caught on to that yet. I certainly didn't know right from wrong when I was 9 even though I thought I did. But in the intervening years since then (I am 46), I have looked back on that period and realized I really didn't know right from wrong at 9. And, again, I am thinking that is the rule, not the exception. I'm also thinking that people start knowing right from wrong closer to 14 and then it slowly develops from there because of the passage of time and also experiences had and how the people reacted/responded to those experiences. Then at 21(?), 24(?) for females and 25 for males when our brains are fully developed, knowing right from wrong kicks into overdrive but it is how we treat it for the rest of our lives that will determine how it (knowing right from wrong) ultimately turns out in the long-term.

I’d like to know how a 16 year old doesn’t know right from wrong ? I had my first firearm at 11 years old I hunted with my family I was taught right away about this being a deadly weapon and that’s it’s not a toy !! I also had a BB gun also a pellet rifle leading up to me getting a firearm !! I was taught gun safety from day one this kid should have known better and for that he needs severe punishment like time in a real jail !! No less then 10 years !!
