Got mark of the dragon lord last night on a random pug, man that felt good, the fact that the absorb shield with 22 MP5 is set to disappear at 500 damage absorbed teaches you to be a baller non damage taking healer. You can throw earth shield on yourself to protect it if the tank doesn't need.
I got it on my priest week 1 but it gets removed so fast. It is a fun game to play to see if you can make it the full 30 mins with the buff. Power word shield app spamming doesn't seem to work as it used up the mana shield first.
After hitting r10 I’ve been going for tidal charm, arena grand master, and all the utility trinkets I can get my hands on from dungeons. Raiding isn’t really necessary for pvp bis, as only 3-4 items out of the raid are relevant upgrades for pvp as a warlock.
smartest possible move right now, rack up all the 100% necessary pvp gear in time for the rank grind. if you try to do that in 2 months you'll have no hope lol
It's a great way of utilising the varied gear the game has and make them more impactful. You don't lose out for not doing it and it's also great for people to work with crafters to work with. There's a lot of synergy involved by playing the game to get this and makes people more active

Why is nobody talking about the massive fuck up Blizz just did? They just screwed over every 20+ raid team by making it so you can’t bring more than 20 into MC. Ony? Fine! Kazzak? Fine! Azurgos? FINE! MC? Woah buddy you gotta stop right now! We need raid teams to be 40 when AQ comes out, they directly said this. So the compromise was that you could bring more people to this phases raids but they are tuned to 20. You can disagree but sure. But now that we have our raid teams sorted and world firsts done after the first lockout, they screwed over basically everyone playing the game right.
hmm...kinda with you but the counter is that most groups never actually had 40 players. 30-35 was our max really even in aq. hard to balance the game around that. if you really did get 40 man groups going then i can see why you would be very angry right now though
@@NOHITJEROME They didn't have to balance around it. (We did some investigations in our guild. A corehound for example has 165k or around there health, in original classic it was 113k. So it is a large increase despite it being meant for less players) It is fine to keep the balance around 20 people. I just don't see any pros to this move. -There are no achievements to be cheesed -The world first race is already over -In a coming phase you will need more people so you need to start recuiting now -It is a trade off of less loot per person at the cost of making it easier, or harder depending on the boss mechanics and quality of the people being brough, but that was always the case, you can raid it with a group of 10 if you want -Some core teams just lack of pieces, like ours we have no locks, so having your core and then bringing like 2 locks and a boomkin was really helpful -All the other raids function this way fine without a problem. SoD is essentially just a test for Classic+, they have admitted tihs in some recent interviews. The idea is to see if 20man for Classic = more or less players, then they will decide. Same with the weird fire res mechanics, the idea is to see if gearing for specific resistances is fun or terrible. They are testing essentially
i didn't fully explain it in the video but the idea is you get 2-3 bis tanks, assign what they will pull in advance, then you bring a healer too. you just force your team north (horde player here) and after capping the gy you just pull within 4-5min and the tanks do everything correctly so you can easily heal the damage. even if the bosses did 30-50% more you could still do that strat and it got us 40-5 winrate. problem is when ur team ignores you or the tanks make a mistake
@@zepho100 try this method - get a great healer, another smart tank, assign roles on who will pick up what (maybe they cant be near each other? i forget - there's definitely some nasty cleave too) - tell your whole team to rush north (or south..) then grab gy near the base (for safety - if alliance spawn there you are screwed) then pull about a minute later once everyone is topped and safe
The biggest issue for me is, being kinda forced playing in a faction where i can't play my favorite class (cause of rl friends and guild). I mean sod already is so "not classic" already, so why not just give both classes to both factions...?

Curious whether you think it's more profitable to buy cores with reals or roll the dice on the supply crates? Guild bought 5 crates yesterday and got two resilience librams. I've only bought two and got arcanite bars each times. Used a bunch of cores when they were 70-80g but think they have gone down.
cores no question are better, though the librams being addded is news to me. cores still 70g ea and sell very quickly. just don't make my mistake and buy any core leather LMFAO edit: someone told me boxes are better..i guess maybe prices of stuff are going up? used to be 20g avg per box at most hmm
I'm still mad that Sixtyupgrades didn't have the new PvP Gear in their system... Had I Know Boots + Gloves was 110 HEaling Power & 2sec of my Weakend Soul I would've grinded out AV week 1 instead of spending 60+hrs in LBRS runs trying to get a ring that I wouldn't even use anymore...
ya i learned a valuable lesson there..the sites can be wrong. have to manually check the vendors every week until raid basically. god knows what blizzard is going to randomly change next lol
I've been using the two piece. I got r10 immediately, I'm so glad I did because we are replacing pre-bis with fire resist anyway. That -2 seconds of weakened soul is huge. With this power word shield HPS rivals greater heal
yeah i'm loving it too meilk, don't see either piece getting replaced the rest of the phase. is a bit of a shame how easy it is to gear a healer right now though. i feel very passive when it comes to looting, i let everyone else get what they want and i only really want benediction. not quite as riveting of a loot handout process lol

hmmmm... so your guild doesn't need you? did it disband? i feel like you are very needed on shaman for many groups. only more desirable classes right now are probably feral (nobody wants to play feral) and warlock (nobody wants to play warlock)

how can people muster the motivation to lvl an alt in this inflated setting? we are too far in a seasonal server where you still get waay too much friction to obtain runes... I used to have all chars 25 inp1 and now I cba to bother with a second character even.
hmm...i think the appeal of an alt is that you get more raids (appealing to some), you get more options in the future (optimism) or you just feel left out of the current good classes. easiest way to top the meters is to switch classes not improve since some classes are just better
You could easily take a fresh alt to Lvl 1 Heat MC & World Bosses, and it doesn't take much to be +2 ready. But they do need to make more of the Rune Grinds account-wide

most don't know but the first 15 seconds of the video foreshadows what will happen theres always something to do but the problem now is there isnt enough of the population doing dungeons that are associated with attunements as they were busy doing that within the first two weeks. theres no reason to touch alts because they are behind and nobody will be able to do the attunement quests in time, Sunken temple runs are less frequent as BFD and gnomer are very rare to see raid activity is at night gs requirements are still a thing theres not much to do for players who didnt get their attunement in time but force themselves to post the same group every single day as for the rest of us yep its just raidlogging but its not weekly its every few days
i see this happening absolutely, as dungeons dry up less and less players will do them. raid logging is inevitable. the hope with a video like this is to remind players there's more to do and you can get an advantage working on alts right now when the population is high. ie AV now is a lot easier than av in 6 months when you are pushing r14 but the queues are 10min lol

Brother the trinket literally did not help nota …. I don’t know why everyone is caught up on it The on use is crap for fire damage that you’ve no real way of knowing is coming most of the time Just base line fr number is gg trinket is bad
i get the point that it's unreliable, it really only can help on one specific boss (molten core) but considering how many random times fire res drops off in raid and someone dies, i can see it being useful situationally. ie you use it when the rag adds pull you in, or late in the baron geddon fight for safety
everything is selling like crazy and prices will go down over time imo so this is THE time to make money. especially if flasks are still meta in the future as a caster i have to basically farm infinite gold. even melee can always bring more consumes and pump harder if they have infinite money
Classic has a lot of problems the balance of classes, blizz don't want to solve it. The grind is fun but the time for ir do it is to much nowadays, at least the dailys helps everyone to keep some gold for keep riding and getting ur consumables. But to be honest, i was expecting more for this season, I dont wanna play the same classic over and over again, farming the same things, i am almost finishing my new dungeon set quest now, raiding every week, but i don't fell happy, the class balance on pvp is a shame, i don't like to go to dire maul every week taking half hour or more to get buffs, most of the playerbase of wow nowadays are old now, no one have such amount of time to spend in a game

40 man raiding was way more fun but people want to stay in their tiny crap guilds instead of merging

AV has changed recently and the bosses buffed. So that rush meta is a bit harder.

i see this happening absolutely, as dungeons dry up less and less players will do them. raid logging is inevitable. the hope with a video like this is to remind players there's more to do and you can get an advantage working on alts right now when the population is high. ie AV now is a lot easier than av in 6 months when you are pushing r14 but the queues are 10min lol

The on use is crap for fire damage that you’ve no real way of knowing is coming most of the time

i get the point that it's unreliable, it really only can help on one specific boss (molten core) but considering how many random times fire res drops off in raid and someone dies, i can see it being useful situationally. ie you use it when the rag adds pull you in, or late in the baron geddon fight for safety

Too much gold to be made to be raid logging.. Everything is selling like bonkers.. Essence farms are crazy.
everything is selling like crazy and prices will go down over time imo so this is THE time to make money. especially if flasks are still meta in the future as a caster i have to basically farm infinite gold. even melee can always bring more consumes and pump harder if they have infinite money
Classic has a lot of problems the balance of classes, blizz don't want to solve it.
The grind is fun but the time for ir do it is to much nowadays, at least the dailys helps everyone to keep some gold for keep riding and getting ur consumables.
But to be honest, i was expecting more for this season, I dont wanna play the same classic over and over again, farming the same things, i am almost finishing my new dungeon set quest now, raiding every week, but i don't fell happy, the class balance on pvp is a shame, i don't like to go to dire maul every week taking half hour or more to get buffs, most of the playerbase of wow nowadays are old now, no one have such amount of time to spend in a game
