The fact that three of these games were made by the same people that made what Markiplier played as “The Worst Game On Steam” makes this so much better
My only problem with the crashing genre is that it's too realistic now, I miss the old days, where I could simulate crashes without actually restarting my game.
I remember playing Agricultural simulator 2012, and the strat me and my bro found were "buy rabbits, feed them hay, wait a few days, sell them in 3 days and sell them." This meant we could buy the rabbits with 8 dollars and then sell them for 45. If I remember you could actually farm in that game, it just didn't make almost any money. Farming simulator games are just so much better, I still hope I could play them on my computer without the "check the disk product", which didn't really work.
Farming Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator are pretty much the perfect examples on how to do job simulators right. Sure, they are niche games, but they work and do a great job at simulating the promised profession. But they are the golden top on an iceberg of turd. There are so many incredibly janky, incredibly buggy, incredibly bad and unfun job simulator games. And yes, most of them use that particular font. Usually in italics and in white.
I had a supermarket ad before this video and it took me a solid 40 seconds to realize the ad’s audio hadn’t glitched out and that was in fact the real video intro
I paid to have a new building built to use as a workshop a couple months ago. Sure enough, it slowly rose out of the ground. That’s just how it works man
I could just be too tired from work, but the end ranking system confused me until halfway through the segment, I wasn't sure if #1 meant the worst of 10, or if it would mean the *best* of the worst 10, until you outlined it explicitly. An odd topic I was glued to the screen for lol
A pity you missed out on Farming World. It's like if you took SimFarm for mobile devices, removed all of the fun and the charm, ported it to PC, and then removed all microtransactions without balancing the game to compensate for the lack of 'pay to win' mechanics. Oh, and add in a lot of spreadsheets without giving the player any context for what the numbers mean. Edit: Also, you missed out on driving a truck in Agricultural Simulator 2013. Bumps will occasionally send you flying off into orbit, and sometimes your truck doesn't have a top speed, so you'll be able to accelerate to ludicrous speeds (until you hit a bump, upon which the game crashes).
It's clear they purchased an apocalypse/zombie map asset pack and just modified it slightly to make a farming game in the aftermath of Stardew's meteoric success.
Don't get your hopes up about Wild Season Ep. 2. It wasn't even supposed to be episodic in the first place. Then the devs dropped off the face of the Earth without any warning. No way Ep. 2 is ever happening.
@@sollumi3014 Nope, no publisher, just them. They changed it to episodic claiming it was necessary for the project to be finished , citing several reasons, including money (even though it was already available for purchase as early access). It was after that updates and communications slowed down massively and eventually stopped.
I enjoyed this video, but it felt like the games didn't get enough time devoted to them...not that I can blame anyone for wanting to limit their exposure as much as possible, but it felt like there was horror/gameplay left to "discover."
I honestly think that Farmer Life Simulator seems kinda funny to play for a two or three days, the rest just seem a bit hollow, the kind of game you play for some minutes to never ever think about again
This takes me back to my family's "shitty $6 shovelware we found on Amazon" phase, and more specifically, Alice Greenfingers. It wasn't the worst out there, but it sure as hell wasn't the best.
I'd have to disagree with "Alice Greenfingers" here with you, buddy. :D This was the Stardew Valley of the 2000s on the then-iconic WildTangent, pixel graphics and all, and to this day I'll always prefer the two games over that other indie conspiracy, such a cute series.
i played agricultural simulator 2012 and 2013 along with historical farmer and i had issues with crashing on all of them aswell man this game was really cool to me at the time i would consider farming simulator 2013 better then these its almost like the code was horribly rushed or the lack of bug fixes cause the crashes
I like farming simulators. Surprisingly, there were a lot of original ideas in these games. I can’t think of a popular farming sim that uses tractors and cars, and here you have different levels on them (crappy tractor to effective big one). You usually don’t go to a farmer’s market and it could be cool to have more of that selling the produce aspect in games. And… That’s about it really.
Farm sim has cars and tractors (and everything else that can go into it with mods) and is the only good farming simulator if we are talking about realistic ones. 22 the latest one has a lot more of product delivery aswell with the whole productions system. I
Every farming simulator that starts off with some initial money with the player or ability to have a loan immediately to buy land and a tractor (… etc.), is not a simulator. One should perhaps always be a “worker” at someone else’s farm at first (or any other work, but perhaps the farmer aspect should be kept).
I recommend playing some mobile platformers next time. Some of my recommendations are Catbird, Dadish and Apple Knight. They’re pretty casual and easy, but still fun.
I honestly can’t understand how someone could not only put something like “that” on Steam but then also the audacity to charge!! 😅 Don’t the devs have self-respect or the want to produce high quality work? It’s a poor reflection.

But buying it though
Let's take a moment to appreciate Steam's refund feature for funding these videos🙏🙏
The most accurate part of all of the games is when you softlock because of money , just like real life .

The Stardew Valley music juxtaposed with these games is something out of a fever dream.
I never understand how does people have the guts to put such things on stores to sell, but damn, is it funny to watch people playing
