    It's quite funny because when I looked at one of these in my local shop, the loud action noise was the one reason I didn't end up walking out with it. If the factory ever decides to take your modifications on board, I would definitely have one. Another great video and thanks 😁👍

      Yes that would be very annoying twanging at your ear all the time.
      To take a step further I would cut to size and stick some insulating rubber on the cover plate aswell, may help on this type of rifle if it don't disrupt the mechanical side of things.

    What an awesome video i really enjoy watching you make your mods on your rifles .... Watching video like yours keep me motivated to keep doing this hobby sometimes i get bored even tho i shoot fac rifles that are very powerful i still have two rifles that i shoot only pellets at around 865 fps for a high shot count but geez 1100 shot from a sub 12 makes me want to lower my reg so i can get even more shots per fill thanks for sharing be safe buddy 💯

    Excellent work again. I would concentrate on making sure a lightest possible hammer is free floating, even with 0.5mm gap, to save air/make more efficient. With free floating hammer I would have guessed 80bar being most efficient. The real efficiency killer that I see is the volume of expansion between valve face and pellet. If only the design had been made with eccentric valve placed nearer the barrel.

    🤣🤣🤣 yes sir i think 800 shots will do . excellent job mate . what puts me off bull pups is that hammer noise which is odd because i also shoot a springer but the action is not right next to your ear . cracking gun out the box but the mods done bring it to another level 👌

    • @sub12airgunners
      @sub12airgunners  8 місяців тому +2

    You dont need much to heat treat simple steels like O1 toolsteel.
    Decent propane torch, couple fire bricks and some canola oil should do the trick, temper in a cheap toaster oven and thats about all you need.
    Yes a dedicated pid controlled electric heat treating is easier but not needed.
    I have built one for heat treating the knives i make but did heat treating with a propane torch and a couple fire bricks for a long time.

    Hello.
    Great work !
    Do you think that a slingshot hammer would be useful ?
    In theory Is not difficult to build, taking inspiration from the uragan 2 system and using an harder and shorter spring.
    Thank you very much.
