Mooie auto. Ik rijdt nu een Golf VI 1.4 TSI met 122pk uit 2010 en dit zou wel een hele mooie overstap zijn. Ik heb ook een DGS7, maar volgens mij schakelt deze auto nog net iets fijner.

Tip: Als je die achterlichten ook zo wilt hebben, dan moet je de LED plus optie hebben. Ik had alleen de LED optie aangevinkt en dan krijg je dus standaard achterlichten i.p.v. deze uit de video met 'fading' knipperlichten.

Dat klopt niet. Led plus zorgt er alleen voor dat actieve bochtenverlichting geactiveerd wordt en je een 'extra led streepje' ziet in de dagrij verlichting. De achterlichten met dynamische richtignaanwijzers zijn een losse optie, tevens standaard op de r-line uitvoering.

After 5000km and 8 month old, my engine (Golf 7, 1.4 TSI 122bhp ) started to give random shocks
when running idle. Misfires. My belgian VW dealer/importer doesn't
consider this to be a problem. Dr Google on the other hand says that
you should eliminate these misfires because they can cause engine damage
on the long run.
So I ask the importer if they could confirm that the misfire they detected
wouldt'n cause any damage on the long run.
I got the following answer ( literal translation, I kid you not ) :
"we see no harm in the phenomenon that you perceive".
I find this a strange answer.
Because they don't dare to use the words "no harm" and "misfires" in on sentence, I have to belief the opposite.
Am I wrong to do so?
Maybe the crowd can shed some light on this matter.
Feel free to answer or launch a survey.
The 1.5 TSI is an evolution from this engine with lots of electronics added.

misfires mean that the fuel won't combust, which means that unburnt fuel goes into your exhaust, and will get onto your catalytic converter. There's platinum on your cat, but if fuel gets on it, it will slowly deteriorate, which will sooner or later throw an engine code. And this will only be the beginning.
