I am fresh from the installation and can share one comment. The included cable tie is very thin and in my case broke after a minute of putting it on (with 125% spring). I recommend to use a wider one or make loops from something else - in my case paracord worked well. But anyway, the spring is worth recommending. Installation also did not pose a big problem - well, maybe except for hammering in this tiny pin here you need patience and a certain amount of delicacy.
Just got my spring today. Awesome! Just one minor complaint: make the signature required upon delivery optional ✅ I had to drive 1 hour to the post office to retrieve it 😂
It was tested with very weak 124gr IPSC load (at the end of video) as well as standard factory load and some subsonic loads too. All performing very well. The stifness of this recoil spring comes more in second half of the cycle so the ejection isn't affected.
@@Glocktavius_the3rd Check out the parts related to this. Means firing pin, firing pin block, firing pin spring. Something is causing the firing pin to slow down.
I’m having issues with failures to eject. Someone mentioned this spring to me. My thought is that the increased spring tension would make my issue worse. What are your thoughts?
Putting a stronger spring does not solve that problem The lighter loads could present a problem What you have accomplished is you adjusted the right spring to the load. The rear ward slamming know can be eliminated by using some kind of a buffer made from Teflon and that if you have metal to metal contact. If you have metal that hits the solid polymer body of the gun you do not need that either.
No such thing reported out of a couple thousnad sold so far. I'm shooting sub minor factor ammo that some of my pistols can't cycle even once and it still runs like a dream with it. I guess you may run into an issue if you try to shoot under water. That's what the factory spring was designed to do.
Omg actual reply and a fast one at that, thanks. Though...i pmed the philipine Vbros shooting sports shop in facebook and appatently its not available. Maybe out ot stock?
@@ascalonarms9156 Gonna start being annoying real quick lmao. Their facebook group says its not available, i'll go there physically next week just to be safe since it's abit far.
The bolt will carry same amount of energy as with the stock spring. Just the deceleration in the back is happening faster. There won't be any more wear on the gun.
@Ascalon Arms thank you... I got the roll pin was bouta replace it was holding down the spring, it shot out n my buffer broke 💔 I was bouta cry. Now I need a new buffer
Thank you, I used this as a step by step and did it myself. 1/18 punch works for those that don’t have metric.
Thanks again!
Thanks for the hint 🙂

Thank you for your feedback. I have to agree with you. We'll change these zip ties for sure. Once it snapped on me too.
Instead, use a small (watch or eyeglasses repair) screwdriver on the second pin (towards the block) to hold it. Worked for me.

Sorry for that. There are no such options on our side. This is in hands of USPS.
I did the same for my RUGER PC chassis ("tactical") carbine with a TANDEMKROSS spring
Curious whether this will be too heavy to cycle very slow (weak) subsonic loads? Or if these would be better suited for hotter/faster velocity loads?

I had this idea and the binary selector indicators.
Hi! I just bought two-- got one extra as a spare. At what round count would you recommend to replace the recoil spring?
The spring force is slightly decreasing first 10k cycles, then settles and remain the same up to 100k which is the calculated lifespan.
@@ascalonarms9156 Thanks!
I’m getting a light strikes after a full magazine, will this fix the problem ?
No, this won't change anything in that matter.
@@ascalonarms9156 any suggestions ?

It won't fix it for sure. I'd recomend to get a new ejector and ejector spring first.
Does this spring work on a Scorpion 3 + ?
Yes. The system inside is the same.
@@ascalonarms9156 Awesome! I had a feeling it would work. Thank you.
How long does it take to ship to USA?
I dunno about you guys, but I can't get the foot off @2:30. Roll pin is removed, but the foot is stuck in there. EDIT: used some pliers, that helped!
Yeah, sometimes it's tight in there.
What about shooting sub sonic rounds ? Will it still cycle properly ?
We've tested it with wide range of cartridges from sub minor factor to +P. Not even a single fail. And none reported from any customer so far.

When will you have more in stock ?
We should have them restocked at the end of this week (Novemeber 4)
should this help if shooting suppressed?
It will help with managing the extra energy on the bolt.
Hi, is it available in the Philippines?
You can buy our products VBros gun store in the Philippines.

Any dealers in the USA or buy direct?
You can order directly from our eshop. We ship to the USA. 😊
For pistol or rifle?
The system is sharing same parts so it works with both.
Would the spring cause more wear on the bolt and chamber due to increased force/velocity when chambering a new round?

My roll pin broke, the one that keeps the foot in 💔
There's a DIN 7343 1.5x8mm spiral pin.

@@wesker19908 we have some in stock if you can't get it in the US. It's just a hell of a waiting with Xmas shipping.
does this reduce a little bit of recoil impulse or tame a little bit of the harsher blowback as the spring is 25% more stronger than the stock?
This is exactly what this spring does.
How long does it take to ship to USA?
Economy shipping is usually 2 weeks (longer around Christmas time). And just few days with express shipping.
