It is awesome!! Came in on Friday, installed Friday evening, shot Saturday, and went back today(Sunday). This trigger made this gun very fun to shoot. Upgraded, AK style safety, extended charging handle, Magpul grip, and now the trigger.....it's now a perfect firearm in my opinion. This trigger is worth every penny.
I followed these instructions and they guided me every step of the way. Successful installation. The Ascalon retention screw with a larger/reinforced head is a definite improvement over the factory set screw. Thank you Ascalon Arms!
I searched the internet for an improved trigger for my CZ Scorpion Evo 3. I purchased the Ergon Trigger Pack because of its stated improvements, and cost. I was not disappointed. It is an excellent trigger, and well worth the money. On a side note, Ascalon Arms Customer Service was extremely helpful, and the shipping process was rapid.
@@markroath98 I have yet to try it out at the range, bud. I've been meaning to get out there, but I just haven't had much time as of late. I will report back to you on here though when I do end up finally using it. I'm glad to see that you like it. You didn't have any light strikes or anything did you? All functions were normal?
@@markroath98 hey Mark, I'm finally back. Just had a training session with my scorpion today with this trigger installed and had no issues whatsoever. I was able to run the gun fast because of the light pull and quick reset and I absolutely loved how it felt. Great job Ascalon Arms. You made an affordable, high quality, lightweight trigger!
This trigger pack easily surpasses ANY other trigger pack available for the Scorpion. Easy to install and the trigger action is superb! When shooting my Scorpion, I found the smooth action & crisp trigger pull to be the best I’ve used. I ran 6 magazines, different drills and had ZERO problems or malfunctions. Very well design by Ascalon!
Great product and customer service from these guys. Their website said they expected the triggers to be back in stock on March 15, so I preordered on March 10. I honestly expected a delay because that’s how it goes, but not this time. They shipped from The Czech Republic on March 15 and it got here in North California today on March 19. And the trigger breaks like a tiny icicle. Very impressive. Good work, guys 👌
Had a training session with this trigger installed in my scorpion today. Ran flawless and smooth. Absolutely love the light pull and fast, crisp reset on this trigger. I highly recommend this trigger pack for an affordable, high quality trigger upgrade for this gun. Great job Ascalon Arms!
Excellent video, really nice commentary on what a person might encounter with the trigger pack change. Also, nice to note the differences between sport and duty nature of the ascalon and factory trigger packs. Thanks.
Sad thing but this trigger seems to be very dangerous . There is a fixed ramp in this trigger that always unlock safety switch of the firing pin when block is closed - only one protection i semi auto riffle for unintended fire. When your scorpion falls down with bullet in chamber (even with safety engaged) it could fire (when force break the strength of firing pin spring). Also when block move with firing pin during loading the next round and closing the chamber there is some force that can move firing pin forward. And what if there is breakage in firing pin spring? In Timney v2 there is a movable safety ramp which only activate when safety is switched off (same as original cz switch) I have both triggers. This trigger needs improvement!
The firing pin block has no place in sports guns and this feature is mostly needed only in service pistols where enhanced drop safety is mandatory. People who are serious about competition shooting are getting rid of any additional points of resistence like this. We have several world class shooters using our trigger with great results. None of them complained about safety even once. Please have a look at 9mm AR15s. I'm sure you won't find a firing pin block in any of them eigther. Scopion EVO 3 has very light firing pin and require minimum 8m/s speed to ignite the primer reliably. CZ was testing our trigger with great results with no complaints to safety too. If you encountered any issue in this matter please leave us an email. We're addressing any customer's feedback almost instantly.
Thank you for quick answer. I've no doubt that this Is very good trigger, more better than factory one. I am glad that you don't have noticed any safety problem - This is some proof that I am not necessary worry.
Not a happy camper here... After installing (and even double checked by a gunsmith to be sure) the trigger pack refused to release the trigger after a shot, without fiddling back and forwards the trigger itself. Next an investigation showed the u-shaped metal construction behind the hammer was the culprit (holding the trigger). Pushed the u-shaped metal piece very slightly backwards (1mm or less) and next the Scorpion started firing in full automatic mode! WTF!!! Parts are not lubricated at all, also not with the powder as described. Parts in the trigger part have a lot of play too. This must be an very early model or something. Purchased in Belgium by their advertised reseller. Wrote an email, hopefully this will be resolved soon. I update the progress here.
See an answer in your email box. It is dry on purpose as any excesive lubrication is just a magnet for dust. We use a Mo2S paste on the contact surfaces of the trigger now (a tiny amount) not a powder anymore.
Quality Control problems with this company: I bought this trigger pack which came with a very loose and wobbly trigger shoe. Their response to this was that I should use tape or glue to rig it so the trigger is then no longer very loose.
Waiting on you to Restock the Receiver Shim to buy that and this trigger pack. When are you restocking? Timney is restocking triggers soon. Don't let them take this money I'm trying to give you.

Hello. I just ordered this Trigger Pack. It mentions that it needs lubrication on the website, but I was reading your comment below and it says that you no longer need to lube it because of it being lubed with dry molybdenum disulfide powder?
Quick question, there are videos from the US where Scorpions exploded because of out of battery malfunctions. The original CZ Scorpion trigger has apparantly a safety sear that prevents that malfunction. Is your trigger similar to the original design in that regard?
The firing pin block lever in OEM trigger doesn't prevent this. It allows to fire when the bolt is almost 2mm opened. We have diferent approach to this problem. There is a fixed ramp to unlock the firing pin block within last 1mm of bolt travel. The hammer shape prevents from hitting the firing pin till the bolt is fully closed aswell.
@@ascalonarms9156 Thanks for the Response. I was referring to videos like this: ua-cam.com/video/EXX5nCcpYWg/v-deo.html Glad to hear you have adressed the problem in your design. Love all your stuff!
@@ascalonarms9156 Yeah, or maybe I just got confused. There is a lot of stuff out there. Your answer concerning your trigger was what I was looking for in any case. i.e. that it has design elements that prevent hitting the firing pin while the bolt is not fully closed.
Definitely lube it up with some synthetic grease PTFE, I use super lube. Put it on every contact point. Every part where there is metal on metal put some lube on it.
The first series pieces were without any lubrication. They were just hand polished on contact surfaces. If you apply tiny amount of mineral oil the hammer contact points you should be just fine. Anyway, now they are machine polished and lubed with dry molybdenum disulfide powder. No more lubrication required.
