I absolutely love simple drivers. You can always do more but this works just fine. Thank you
Simple clean lines. Nothing over the top. The kind of car you can actually afford . Great job.
You can afford and not be afraid to drive or break anything. Really fun car and I love the color.
Paint is 22 years old - Almost spilt my coffee!!!! Looks amazing!
A smart build clean and very tidy, a really reliable drivetrain, suspension and wheel tire combo. Easy enough to service and not panic if you get it a little dirty.
just enough custom touches that it sets it apart but not too over the top that your afraid to hammer it!
Exactly. And he’s done a few more things since we shot this but still a total driver car
Reminds me of the 1966 Oldsmobile 442 W30, which had the same type of air induction, just that the air scoops on the Olds were placed in the bumper, below the headlights. The 67 model had the scoops between the headlights.
Nice Nova! Those cars are pretty light, 2650 to 2700lbs or so. You don't need that much HP to make em go! Love the color and the car!
Really light. And the power makes it a driver not a “be on guard” kind of drive. The color is so cool. Love it!
My uncle has a 66 chevy II SS L79 package. With the Factory colors. Black exterior and blood red interior. I love that car. Anytime I am around it I seem to get lost for some time staring at it
She is a beaut..! Nice stance too, really gives that classic look.
Wow....... I absolutely LOVE this car. The details are awesome. Very well maintained paint job. If I could ever build a car, it would be very similar to this. Vintage did an fantastic job......... If I only had money.......
Not too far out of reach though at a total of $45K including the purchase price of the car.
Very cool! My girlfriend had a 66 Malibu SS metallic blue, with Craiger Mags; I don't remember the power under the hood but I took care of it for her throughout high school before I joined the Navy and she dumped my sorry butt :-). But I do have wonderful memories tooling the gut in Spokane with that sparkly little blue bird.
Beautiful, so well done
The colour is amazing..
It's a simple ride that would last another 50years, way past the exotics.. Sweet ride..
You got it. This thing has a lot of life left in it and a lot of fun driving.
The Chevy Nova is getting me back into my love for American Classics, and it is doing it well!
What a beauty!
I DIG EVERY THING ABOUT THAT LITTLE CHEVY.👍
Hell yeah!!
Absolutely stunning beautiful !!!.
Love 😍 that color! Well done.
I love the Nova as the basis for a custom car, it is a blank canvas: three boxes, a grill and two head-lights.
Totally agree
I like Nino. He got good taste.
He does...and we’re showing another of his cars on Friday. Really great guy and self made. Used to be a day laborer in front of Home Depot. Inspiring guy.
Respectable ride, excellent color with the black accents 💯👊💯
That is a beautiful car indeed!
It is and he recently changed the front splitter for a carbon chin. Looks great!!
I love how that nova has that stance and stagger, not too low not too high right for a muscle build
It’s right for the period of build for sure.
@@AutotopiaLA oh yeah, it's simplistic what more could you ask for, it has enough power to have alot of fun.
It sure does
beautiful 66
DAMN Nice 66 Love COLOR And the Stance. SWEET RIDES FOR SURE.
Hell ya. Love the Nova.
Killer color
Super awesome Nova wow 👍👍🇺🇲🗽 awesome work 👍👍
The Vermonter
Very cool👍🏻
What a nice car👏🔥🔥
If i ever get the extra money, this guys garage wil get my money!!! Perfect drivers. Great video!!
Thanks and I agree. You don’t have to spend “house money” to have a great driver that looks badass!
I really like this one because its a realistic ride for my price range- I'd do a few things different- maybe some billet ralleys but its a sweet ride. Cant go wrong with one of those novas- good show guys 👍
I agree. It’s more realistic for a lot of us than the big dollar builds. And it drives great. He lowered it recently too so the stance is much better.
Hell yeah!
At first I didn't like the ride height but watching it drive it looks no higher than factory. Being that it has the bigger inch wheels it's suspension IS lowered a touch and it balances it out for me.
That color looks like one of the "teal" colors offered on Mustangs, Camaros and Corvettes of the period that this car was painted in. Lol I have a 93 5.0 Fox coupe in Reef Blue Metallic so I get it.
Awesome ride!
Awesome! It drives great. I’d love to see it lower but a whole suspension change would have to happen to have it work. This car is set to turn the key and drive!
Beautiful car love that color.
And it’s gotten better with a few recent additions
Love it. Cool colour and just looks 👌and like you said not crazy expensive.
Yeah, that color is so cool. I love the simplicity.
Man, this is most definitely the ride!!! I can't imagine it took long selling her.
Nice ride luv the colour it sit nice on the road
And it’s a true driver. Cool car for sure!
Nice car man
It looks like a baby musclecar, 😀, but still packs a big punch. 👏👏👏👏
Pretty much. I love these smaller body Nova’s. And enough power to have fun but not so much that you can’t mash the accelerator.
Great reviews! Enjoying your channel! Subbed
Thanks man and thanks for the sub. Doing our best to create great content and grow this into one of the bigger and better enthusiast channels available.
Sweet
Sharp looking car. The paint job is top notch and the fact that it's over 20 yrs since it was painted.......I wonder what he gets on the quarter mile?
It’s not a big power car so I don’t think the 1/4 would be impressive. More of a simple cool street car. And yeah, over 20 years is impressive on the paint.
I would absolutely love to own this car! The only thing I'd change out would be the seats, to something simpler like '69 Nova SS buckets.
This is a cool ride. Love that color!
Totally agree with your cost argument Shawn. Most guys can't throw $200k plus into their rides. They got shit like women and children and housing to deal with. This is an excellent video. Please, more lower cost builds like this. Good work! This is excellent content!!
I like it
VERR NIICE!!
Cool car right?
Nerd alert: that color looks EXACTLY like "gasoline green" in GTAV. Dope color 😍
Cool
2 - YEARS ONLY 66 - 67 FOR THIS BODY-STYLE SS - OPTION L - 79 SMALLBLOCK GREAT COMBO & AFFORDABILITY !!!!!
I have those same American racing rims on my s10 lol!!
Nice!
👍 nice
Thanks James!!
Brings back memories of my 67 nova ss.had 69 350 300hp 4 sp.gears slicks bars headers.ran 12.04 in 1/4 all day long. That must be low 11s??
A cool looking motor. Reliable easy to maintain.better than the ones have modern crap stuffed in there.
Subbed!!
Thanks!
I think I should have gotten into these before I got into JDM and Euros.
They’re all great!!
That oil pan! Whoa...nice ride, though.
It's got one of those new skyjackers lift kits
? You lost me here
@@AutotopiaLA it's a joke. Its really tall.
Great looking nova. You got a video of Ninos Dart?
Yes. His Dart is on our channel
Simple build my ass, LOL!!! That thing is frickin awesome!!! Looks like that thing has been upgraded to the hilt! Great build!
Simple compared to a lot of the stuff we shoot. Not knocking the car in the slightest
I'm doing my 63 and the original color was a robins egg blue but I'm so stealing this paint scheme 🤣
It s too high for my taste but again a true man's car! Respect from hellas (greece)
I agree. Would love to see it set lower but still a really cool build.
GREAT ENG. I SEE WHY IT'S HIGH WITH THE OIL PAN AND HEADERS THAT LOW YOUR ROADS MUST BE NICE.😅
The oil pan is still a bit scary to me but this car is a driver not a trailer queen show car and I love that!
What lift kit did they use?
I like the paint color Its very unique. Just at of curiosity is that a birth mark on your face? Great video's man.
I thought it was skin cancer,spot....
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Do you happen to have a link for the 4link?
Thé motors 383 y love the supercharger my cars one 383 supercharger is 580 🐎👌
Got a left brake light out there bud
Glad to see you fixed it later in the vid :)
Actually, I think it intermittent. Noticed the same thing you did. Off, on and off again.
Ok. I'm. Yeah. Uh. Want.
So I'm assuming it is tubbed?
What is that colour ?? I’m looking to paint car soon. Would love this colour
Check with the owner. His info is in the description of the video
very clean its too bad they all sit so high .you have to cut the floors out to get them on the ground
Is that a custom color "emerald green" or is it a factory 66 Chevrolet Nova color, in other words if we want it, what are we looking for...
Good question and I don’t have that answer for you. Sorry
The white bimmer wanted to run you, ha ha. If it was a 335is, it might’ve been a good run.
Shawn, i can see that you really like the car. Take the money out off your pocket and make an offer to the guy :))
Not quite there. Hoping to afford a 2nd car this year but not quite yet.
Good luck with that man!!!
Thanks
Do you store these vehicles only, or act as a broker? Is this ChevyII/Nova for sale?
Had a '71 for my first car - swapped a lot of clutches, couple of engines, etc.
Always wanted a '66.
I do both but feel free to contact Nino and ask. His info is in the description of this video
Is it possible to build a car like this from vintage? Do you need a nova SS to start with?
I want to buy his car lol
Love the car...hate the racing stripes .
I get it. Owners choice. I could go either way honestly.
what bucket seats are they?
I said it in the vid. Drawing a blank on the name right now. Sorry.
no worry. I found them.thanks tho
How much does it cost buying it?
This would most likely run around $50K is my guess
How can I buy one like it in Algeria ?????
No idea my friend. Wish I could help.
This car has no radio, we're the music?
Exhaust tone is the music
@@AutotopiaLA na not the same I wouldn't wanna hear that all the time. But it's still nice tho.
Only thing i would change is jus drop it. It seats too high
What’s the engine in this ?
383 stroker
Gasser height...
Close
Bullshit, stance is perky and perfect.
@@1pigpen7 I agree, it is perfect for the man who describes stance with the word, perky. You know what man?? It is bullshit, and I commend your position and strong conviction on my absurd comment!!!
This make a few cars I’ve seen on this channel with black bumpers. Is this a new fad? If so, this chrome loving geezer hates it.
It’s not for everyone. I like both styles personally
Sits way too high for my taste. But nice.
I get it.
Leave it where it is. Tired of the broken spring look.
Lol not big horsepower
I wanna buy it send me an email
Don’t know if it’s for sale but the owners info is in the description so hit him up if you want
had one back in 71...put a lT.1. 350 11,1/2 to 1 aluminum heads of the road z/28 racing cam. 456 rear end..400turbo trans ...3000stall speed ...fender well headers... ultimate sleeper... beat hemi's .. corvettes.. Mustangs...fun car back when gas was 85cents gal...
Sits WAY to high, and needs fatter tires out back
Same shit over and over and over
Did this clown just say those wheels are period correct lol
natrone23 -- why the clown comment douche bag??
Why you watch the clown video? Fucking idiot...
those "halibrand" style wheels were popular in the 60s. Theyre on the Eleanor Mustang as well... so indeed, they are PERIOD CORRECT.
Period correct to the build was what I said. No the don’t look like they’re from 1966 but they fit the period of the build. We all get our opinion. Enough of that, time to go remove my “clown” make up before bed 😂
LOL. you're better than me. I wouldve blocked his ass. why? because I have low self-esteem! LOOOLLLLLLOLOLOLLOLOLOOL btw...make some GATDAM shirts so I can buy one.
Later!
I stopped watching as soon as he said: " Ford 9 inch" absolute trash.
explain.
