Black Widow Neighbor Hater 🕷Holy Smokes I’m even in more love with this 66 after watching this incredible breakdown of the Nova 💨
A lot of G-Foce when shifting, step on the gas, release, step on again. Just a Perfection👍congratulations.
Tony is one of the coolest most humble dudes that I know. Extremely talented and has always been a perfectionist when it comes to his vehicles. Great job brother!!
Thank you bro!!!
No doubt!
Ya that car is so sick, so fun watching!!!
Bitchen car. The before and after is wild.
So crazy!
KILLER CAR
We agree!
This car is a beast!
100% agree!
Great build Tony and great job Jon! Keep it up, would love to see more of this!
More to come!
@@CurrieEnt did he say what it would DO in the quarter mile?
Love the nostalgic appearance with the amazing upgrades. 1000HP WOW! Awesome video. Had to subscribe.
Thanks for the sub!
its 1130 hp
Awesome, awesome car and I really hate to nitpick over something so minor and unimportant but...there are Chevy II's and there are Novas. There are not Nova II's as the heading indicates. In some cases there are Chevy II Novas, or just Chevy II's. This car should be a stand alone Nova. But there is no Chevy Nova II. Nova or Chevy II only. Thanks.
Thanks for watching, glad we can pull in all the Nova, Chevy II fans.
@@jonhenson2523 what will it do in the quarter mile
Wow amazing
Thank you! Cheers!

Chevy Nova II? Nahhh. Chevy II NOVA :)
🙏
Music way too loud. Voice is low
Thumbs down 👎
Marina blue was the lite blue for GM in 60's.
Yes, correct
That was an absolute blast to watch!
Jon you do an amazing job getting into the details of the ride! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Tony what a awesome ride!
Thanks a ton!
66 or 67 Chevy is my dream car, 327 4 barrel with a good cam👍👍👍
Beautiful car, and one hell of a build. Also very efficient to be making 900+ whp on 14psi. Which makes me think this isn’t a stock LS3 bottom end with only a BTR St. 3 PD cam. Dude would be crazy to make 900whp on stock ls3 rods and pistons
I'm doing it on a stock bottom end... lol.. so far so good
Yeah ridiculously efficient lol. Im making 730whp on 17psi on a 2.9 Whipple on a built LQ9 with CNC LS3 heads and a Pat G custom blower cam. Calling shenanigans.
Those horsepower quotes are a bit optimistic!
That joker is mean!!!! Great job in the details...
Tony and crew crushed it!
I never heard a transmission I never heard a quarter mile time
This thing is gnarrrrly! Hahahaha Love it! The Nova is bad ass.
Thank you!!
Powering up……the most exciting thing you may ever do with your clothes on.
AB...SOLUTELY AN AMAZING RIDE!!!
The attention to detail to the whole build is jaw dropping to me. BEAUTIFUL WORK OF POWERFUL ART!!!
All the right touches!……..Nice
Awesome !
Thanks!
Nice video. A very clean car! I had a 66 in the late 70’s - early 80’s. Time flies. I remember Stan Betz mixed some paint & Clay Smith did quite a bit of porting & polishing while I built the 383. I ran Centerlines at Terminal Island where Big Willie organized the show. Couple years later Currie did my 9 inch for my 32 5-W. Memories now. Sure enjoyed the conversation between you two.
I think someone needs to change his pants😂 - Sick ride 🔥🔥🔥
Was a fun ride for sure
Beautifull car, but useless in my eye if you cant keep your foot down.
That depends on the circumstances
Awesome episode. Bad ass ride
Couldn't agree more!
Awesome Ride 😎😎😎👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Badass ride! Love watching Jon’s reaction to the burn. Can really see the pure joy the car gave you both. Great build.
Couldn't agree more!
The ride along had me beaming. Love the obvious enjoyment
Awesome video
Glad you enjoyed it
I SEE A FIRST AND SECOND GENERATION NOVAS. I HAD a 62 & 67SS.
Awesome!
Nice car
I love it it’s very simplistic sometimes less is more.🛠🇺🇸🛠
WOW... My dream build ! Ever for sale..??
DOPE!!!!!!!!
Great video Jon's reactions LMAO!!!
The best!
Thanks for watching Gee 🤘
@@jonhenson2523 who are you
Can I get a currie rear end for my 69 nova lol
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice car Tony, love it
Absolutely beautiful car!!!!
Beautiful car!
Wow. EV cars no matter how quick will ever bring smiles and woa's and grunt sounds of power that combustion brings..No way Musk. Take your EV to space with your 🚀 rocket...
Omg my dream car!!! Sweet!!!
extremely wild ride
excellent job
love the clean look
Sounds likely a nightmare
What a rad car, thanks for bringing it in Tony
Great job hosting!
This wood a bin nice to see this model much bigger
Ruined a 66....smh...Thats what 67s are for.. I wouldve given up one of my 67s with $15k to trade
Ruined? Please...
That car is 100 times more enjoyable, reliable, better handling AND better looking than a stock Nova. Very tastefully built
@@doublediamondgarage3031 what is going on here now is what 1000's of other 1967s have done. When the badging got changed from 66 to 67 it sort of set the course of what is expected between the two. The Chevy II Super Sport was not the one to do extreme modification to. The 67 NovaSS was the one prostrate worthy and taken as such. This 66 is a very badass ride. I am all on board with the choices made for this final outcome of Ho-Lee-Schidt that's bad. But it takes away from its a Deuce. And gives the oh its another 67 and kind of gets written off as it. The way the car was before the mini tubing was prime.key highest dollar could be had with that style. Now it's just a.67..
@@prestigeworldwide5538 Nope 66 he could sell it for a fortune
@@WisdomOverWicked777Rules only to another person like himself.. and at this stage that person will be paying for the motor. And really if someone is really interested in this ride. They may the person won't buy someone else's build. But I digress. There is more and more people walking around these days with more dollars then sense. Don't even want to get into the car show circuit chat with this car. Tubbing is the killer. You just don't cut up a 66 Chevy II SS. I went out and bought 2 more after watching this.
@@prestigeworldwide5538 I never heard what kind of transmission or if he tried it in the quarter mile? This reporter doesn't ask those kinds of questions
Shit, I'm really screwing up with my 5.3 that's race shop built with forged internals, twin 66mm turbos, intercooled on E85 with top shelf parts trying to achieve 1200 crank horsepower with Kenny Dangler doing the tuning on around 30 psi!!!
Dope As Hell🔥
Makes you giggle !!
Sick build. I'm working on a 66 too.
I’m looking for a 66 post two door sedan myself
What accessorie brackets are those??
Boost Districts setup
I enjoyed watching this! Great breakdown on the build. There were a lot of things I didn’t know. Legit build Tony
Glad you enjoyed!
Didn't hear what kind of transmission or if he tried quarter mile
What wheel brand is that ? I have a 67 pro touring that is gray with black wheels and id love to change to something like you have
Am I wrong thinking they were either Nova or Chevy II?
Both until 69. In 62-67 Nova was a trim level of the Chevy II. Novas were only 2 door hardtops, four doors, or convertibles (in 63 only) Wagons or two door posts were only Chevy IIs, not Novas. In 68 they were all referred to as Chevy II Novas. In 69, chevy ridded of the Chevy II name, and from that point on they were just Novas.
@@DeathReaper280 Maple motors has a NICE 63 Nova convertible SS supersport
Great tutorial!! Awesome car. I’d like to see it in action.
How many splines are those axles? 35 or 40?
What kind of transmission? What will it do in the quarter mile?
I had a hooptie Blue '66 Chevy 2 in 1975. It was beat to hell with a crappy sludged up six cylinder. But, it was small and very light. I cant imagine 900 HP in a car like that.
God, I HATE green cars!!!! Any color but green!!!
Neon grassy green metallic is nice
Gorgeous
100%
Bad ass Nova, beautiful color.
Blacked out motor looks better to me than chrome!!?
Beautiful car👍
We agree!
Why would you put e85 in that car?
This needs to be a series. Awesome car.
Should of kept the 350 LS so over rated
Old dude was scared ahitless riding in that beast
Absolutely Beautiful&Clean, just the way I like them. I'm true to the O.E.M. and Restomods both. We have a 💯% Original 1960 Impala Convertible red/white top. Original seat covers&carpet, everything. 1 repaint since new. 1 of 51 built with the options this car came with new. This Car is a true 10 out of 10. Power brakes, Seats, top, Windows,A/C etc.
Also an original 1963 Impala Hard-Top, true Super Sport 4 speed car, 327 black in color with black interior.
Also a 1963 Nova Convertible SS with 6 cylinder, automatic, Blue, with Blue interior, Blue top. This Car is a true 10 out of 10 quality.
Also a 1930 Chevrolet sedan all original.
Also a 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Convertible, all original 289 automatic. This is a true "California Tang" this is an extremely rare car. 1 of 10 convertibles ever built and 1of 3 left known in existence. Wide flare fenders, scoops, hood, bumpers,Etc. This company originally received 100 Mustangs from Ford to be custom built much like Carroll Shelby. They received 25 convertibles and 75 Hartops. Only 10 convertibles were actually built and 50 Hartops were actually built before the unfinished cars were sent back to Ford. I've only found 2 of the hardtop cars so far. Jay Leno has 1 of them and the editor of Fast Ford Magazine has the other.
These cars may possibly be For Sale. If interested you can contact Stephens Motorsports at 304-208-1052 call or text

One Bad ass bowtie.
🤣great vid! Follow you guys on IG. And thanks for spreading the word about goofy black wheels!
Thanks for following along!
The passenger's reactions had me cracking up. What a monster. Beautiful car! Love that you kept it a stick and modded the handle. I've got a Currie in my car.
thank you!
@@Tony66C are you the owner?
@@WisdomOverWicked777Rules yes sir
@@Tony66C just curious what will it do in the quarter mile

I love this car.
Very cool, indeed
That is so nice!! I’m looking at a chevelle like this or a 74 nova and want to do this to either I get
Go for it!
Nasty
sweet
Those wheels & rims TOTALLY kill the looks of an otherwise sweet looking ride. God I hate them things!
One beautiful set up, very nice.
Great build looks stunning..
Glad you like it
Beautiful ride ❤
It really is!
A man after my own heart. Love the stance! It’s how they shud b done! Beautiful car!
