@@pirsensor1186 Interesting, must be cool to find all those bits. You found a no.77 like the one in this video you mean? it is a shame so much is lost in the ground.
The fuze lasted longer. A version of it was used as a tail fuze for one of the British bombs. And the Spanish made a version too. The "container" was less useful.
Brown antique bakelite. The antique shop set would love these.
Lol yeah something old timey about handling bakelite objects.
Good evening, thank you my friend, you are doing a great job on the history of munitions
I, too, would like to know how and where you find such devices.
Always interesting!!
Thank you.
Sometimes things just show up. One source I use often enough, the other I really got lucky with and found out it was near my house.

The first and only time i ever saw these grenades in my life was in Day of Infamy game
Yeah for some reason video games use them because they are cool but you rarely see them being talked about in history shows.
Nice. If I saw that lying around. I would think it was a bottle of poison. That’s why your teacher. Me student. B safe.
It is a pretty interesting looking object if you didn't know about them.
Where are you finding this stuff at? Fascinating stuff man
Got lucky (if spending more money than you really should is luck), 2 diff sources had a few diff things I found interesting.
What classification is the No69? Is it offensive or defensive or some other niche type grenade?
Offensive. Since they had the mills as a defensive.
That really seems like a kind of janky design. I'm not surprised that they didn't last long.

plastic body? for the 1st nade?
Yeah bakelite. Same material as the fuzes.
