A SAUSAGE DOG SPORTS DAY

Now many of us will remember the thrill of the school sports day, with all the athletic prowess that it entails.
But on Sunday the East Hants Dachshund group held a sausage sports day of their own.
Wiener dogs and their owners were put through their paces, alongside prizes for best puppy and waggiest tail.
A chance for sausage dogs to mix and have fun, whilst sampling some tasty treats and doggy fashions.
Our reporter Richard Stringer popped by, to discover that these pint size pooches may have small legs, but big personalities.
