Yeah, the new combat update is so great. I got a Slayer task for Steel Dragons yesterday, went at it my usual metal dragon way, ranged setup with anti-dragon shield, run cbow, addy bolts, and extended antifire pots. Got tired of it after under 10 kills. Swapped to a mage setup to cast Earth Wave. Went from a kill every ~4 minutes, to between 60-90 seconds per kill.
Really awesome Maikeru. I don't play RS anymore, and you're the only RS creator I still follow. Watching the progress in the production quality in your videos is really cool too! But I would watch you either way! Really love the old school more than anything because is toooo nostalgic for the younger days! Hope all the best for you and keep up the good work! But don't forget to look out for your own health and take appropriate breaks! I know the grind can turn physically painful if adequate steps aren't taken. Great videos! Thanks a ton!
The combat rebalance is more than you said in the video! Ice Warriors are not 50% weak to fire, they are 100% weak to fire, meaning you were doing double damage with doubel accuracy. Love the Puro Puro bit btw!

I am very nervous about this chunk. I do not particularly enjoy when chunk accounts go multiple videos doing the same thing, and I am very much enjoying your series. Sorry seers, cannifs, and kourend castle chunk locked, but I fast forwarded through your videos when I started to get tired of it

Very nice video, at the last comparison of the stats i would appreciate if you put on "current" screenshot for example +5 over the magic if you gained 5 levels, i think JWC did it on his speedrun videos and its so much clearer to see where you leveled up. Anyways keep it up :P

That's the Region locker plugin - which turns your chunks that are not unlocked grey, but it turns the one you're in grey when hopping for whatever reason

its ~55-60 an hour, so depends how many hours in a day i am camping them. I think the highest day was like 14 hours and ~750kc although mage may change things and make the kills/hr a bit higher using up my runes and leveling there
You only need the backpack to spawn events and to hold your items. You can have events spawned by others alongside you with their backpack and participate if you were also there when it spawned, keeping the items in your inv (like you can see with my bark and leaves)

Dungeons, underground, overground etc are not counted as a seperate chunk, so puro puro is considered the same
I havent even looked at doing puro puro but now it seems like a good idea
It's good, but it's quite a long/taxing grind haha
